Since the upload - looks like the new App update 80.03.06 (iOS) and 80.03.03 (Android) now adds:
▪️ Numbers to the volume slider
▪️ Mute button icon
▪️ Support for SonosNet channel selection
▪️ Stereo/mono configuration for Amp or Port

The app is utterly appalling- Sonos shafted its loyal customers by releasing an untested app just so they could line their pockets for the ace headphone release
Queue management is still a joke - no ability to delete tracks or move tracks about and worse still if you change the source to watch tv and then try to go back to the music queue it’s impossible
Utterly farcical and whoever was responsible should be sacked
The shareholders should kick out the entire board

I just bought a Sonos beam gen 2 and mini sub yesterday and the Sonos app won't work. Keeps saying mini needs update but won't update just gives error 1000. So I have a sub and app I can't even use at all. I guess I should have went with the Bose system instead
I agree with you on the app update. i think giving people time to transition but I guess sonos never learns their lesson! I wish they released a beta instead of rushing the software out. It seems a lot of these developers would rather rush out a product then spend extra money beta testing too bad.
On the headphone side, apple even has a heads phone for $450 so for Sonos to price their products as high as apple is a huge disappointment, i am 100% sure there are better products then their headphones.
Unfortunately this seems to be the norm for all software companies nowadays. ie: video games, apps, websites - list goes on. “Just release it now and we’ll deal with it later” - seems like these releases are to appease financial benchmarks.
As for the 🎧 - the biggest draw is the connectivity to home theater but I’m really curious on how often people would use them that way. Again, that $450 price tag - yikes! If they were $299, it would be a no brainer purchase.

Did anyone figure out how playlists made in the sonos app are shown? I can't find them at all. Thanks for any advice!
Only way I could find is by adding a song or playlist to “Sonos Favorites”.
I returned my Era 100’s. They sounded great but WHAT A HEADACHE!!!
I was on the verge of buying sonos. I'll keep an eye out on what the communities are saying and maybe buy later. But for now, i will stick with my wired basic speakers. Changing app layout and functionality to hardware that requires the app controls makes it feel like you're not really in control of your hardware.
This is sort of the downside to Sonos is that it’s always been app dependent.
@@HiFiBrothers i agree, but it was a bit odd even if they hadn't proven they can't be trusted.
The only problem that I have ever had whit Sonos is when I tried to do the trueplay again after the last update and it wasn’t working but I tried a-few hours later and it works other than that no problems at all
Yep! It hasn’t been “buggy” for me like I’ve seen for others, just more of missing features (which are getting slowly added back) or having to learn the app again.
I love the system but Sonos lost customer is me. The latest update was screwed me for a month now. I don’t recommend anyone surrendering me friends or family anymore.
Time for me to find a decent music system and dump my sonos rubbish....
