Thanks for the video. What I would like to have in Canva is more control over elements animation. Not just "in" and "out" effects which happen exclusively before and after page transitions, but also anywhere within the same page. Ie. I would like to set my element's animation length, so it fades away (or with any other effect) halfway before the page goes away. Then these element animations would be a complete package. Now we have to use tricks like you have shown at end of your video. And yeah, while it's better than nothing, it's still not perfect, at least for more demanding designers.
I agree. I’d like to see more control and I’m sure they are working on many new updates. Like animating grouped elements on and off can be hit and miss too.

I have a question which I've been search for but what if its an animation I want initially entering the beginning of footage of myself but the recording of myself is a longer clip than I want the animation there for. For example a clip of 2 minutes long of me. I want the intro animation to enter right away with the first few seconds of footage, but then disappear at 15 seconds into my footage.
I was thinking I just split the footage based on where I want it to end? Not sure if that will make it choppy so it's pick one - animation that disappears or choppy footage lol
So about the computer uploads on Canva, how do you like limit the photo for a video? I really need you to tell me because I have a homework thing due in 4 days and I'm struggling a lot.Please reply.
I don't understand the use of the green screen. You have it at 3:20 with the social icons but not at 3:45. I don't understand when I need a green screen and when I can get rid of it.
Ahh ok. Sorry for the confusion there. The one at 3:45 I just hadn’t added the green screen bit. The green screen just allows you to create a transparent area in your video editing software. Without this you’ll not see what is behind. But that’s done in the video editing software and not Canva. I wish they would just allow us to export animations with a transparent background.

I have a pro canva account and do not have the Element Animation features. How do I accept the recent upgrade I kept clicking on later. I'm assuming that was it. Help!
Maybe it’s being rolled out. We don’t receive information about updates from Canva anymore, as they have closed the Certified Creators program. I’d suggest contacting their support.

I've been waiting for this! Is this a canva pro feature or is it available to everyone? I can't find the element timing when I animate elements. I select the element, select the animation, and nothing new pops up.
@@betts12220 I assume Canva are rolling it out at the moment. They cancelled the CCC program where we used to receive updates, so now I can only guess what is happening. I've checked with my fellow creators and some have this and some don't. Hopefully you have this soon. Typical roll out can be 2-6 weeks from my experience.
Man you are great! But CANVA took so long to insert this tool! BUT! We know it is another short cut! Think about the timing you put to make this happen, this is in my opinion something to make us waste time. That would be a page by page change. The only global updates are colours and fonts at the moment.

Yup. If you only want the 15 seconds. Just trim the clip

How to remove the timing
If you don’t want to animate the element, you select the item and remove animation. This will remove the timing.
how do i make it pop up when i press space?
This isn’t something that can be done in Canva.
