Actually, no. If you read the details, you'll know that this new labour laws are actually reformatory. One of the biggest concerns of setting up factories in India is frequent/flash strikes by workers, unionization, and limited flexibility for hiring and firing labour and these issues are faced even by smaller businesses. New labour laws address these issues and hopefully investments in manufacturing start increasing.

85 new laws were passed by this new government in less than 1 🌺 year, I would say let's railroad opposition.
Sir..u have made it so very simple ! Thanks for the wonderful briefing
I just don't understand the obsession with unnecessary clauses which every government has.
Vote bank
@Vamsi Krishna thinks does not work what we(or government) want they work on laws of economics and science. Government don't have magic spells.
@Vamsi Krishna I think misinterpreted you.
Superbly & lucidly explained
Thanks SG for explaining this to us. 🙂
Salute to you for safeguarding your junior colleagues and stood like an umbrella for their space making.🙏🏼
Need an "Ilanomics" on Agri and Labour laws.. :)
There are few episodes on both the laws. Also, other important bills like netting have been passed and she has talked about them too.
*@PRINT* It was a revelation that these bills had not only been through the appropriate committees, but that _nearly 3/4 of changes suggested by the committee were incorporated in the bills._ *Thank you!*
I would like to know about the remaining recommendations of Government which are not included and given effect in these codes and your comments.
Ty Shekharji for another brilliant ctc🙏
Well today's not exactly prompt but looks like @SG is trying real hard to get these CTC out in time😂
Great work...👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Give us a brief account of “ KERALA GOLD SMUGGLING RACKET “ we r still confused about the role of the Kerala Govt
Gupta sahab. A big thank you 🙏. May mother India always shower blessings on @theprint . Best UA-cam video today.
What is 300 employee ..At least make it 5k.. inida will become export hub
Maybe in future they will expand the limit ....depending upon the amount of factories opening up and production taking place
Thank you Shekhar Sir..it is truely De Cluttered
All this to form "Futures Contract" type system controlled by the newly formed IFSC in Gujarat.
We agree that the farm bill was in right step and appreciate you to acknowledge that passing without right voting process and amendments was an issue.
Can u do a CTC on Karnataka land reforms? It has created a political storm in karnataka
Very informative. Thank you.
Modi government is doing reforms which are much needed and long due. Sometimes, we should not be blinded by partisanship and appreciate good things done by the government. Otherwise future governments, irrespective of which party comes to power, will also avoid taking up any reforms.
This is happening for years.
I respect you immensely because you saw different kinds of state phases and survived
Still it seems, to start a business person needs 2-3 lakhs as fees in india and wait for months for getting approval.
Too many absurd and ridiculous rules and laws. How come other countries don't have these problems.?
@@menakirpalani Communism is dead world over but not in India. In India there is still a lot of mistrust of private enterprise. Nevertheless, with the current reforms and a future single window approvals process, this hardship for business should start to become a thing of the past. Lets hope the govt implements all of this ASAP!
Because of the communists/Islamists sitting in bureocracy trying everything to stop the growth of india
@@SuperTechno2012 Irony is that most of private channels are proponents of communisn/socialism.
@Diptasree Choudhuri This is really sad to hear. Hope you will try again once covid passes and these reforms take effect!
Wonderful analysis, SG Sir.. Thanks

Happy with the outcome of your and your team's labour! Good job indeed🙂 considering the complexities associated with the country's labour laws.
Hey Sharad! Thanks for appreciating that!
I Support Demonetisation

Beautifully Explained ! So lucid explanation ! Thankyou Shekhar Ji , its a bliss to listen to you =)
Wah modiji wah
Great work by Shekhar Gupta and ThePrint team!! Really insightful, even though I like to think I am "plugged" in, I had no clue on this. TV journalism doesn't hold a candle to the emerging online journalism.
BJP has given india new hope in governance.
And is admi ke muh se bjp ke chupi chupi tareef achi lagi.
Takleef to hue hogi par kya kare bechare ke pas koe choice nahi rakhi Modi Ji ne😀😀😀
Subscribed today. Thanks for your robust journalism.
In the era of propaganda, a great source to base our understanding of key issues on. Thank you sg for the effort and decluttered knowledge.
Lol 🤣 this channel too promotes propaganda
@@undercover118 sure. The propaganda of balanced view.😂
Thanks very much for this summary....
Commendable job by the Govt. I thought you never wanted to use the words " Migrant worker" 🤔😉 just kidding, thanks for providing clarity a bit of background on labour reforms.
Sir your way of speaking is so soothing and balanced... pleasure to see you !!
Mr. Gupta hates the current dispensation so much that he’ll not appreciate the new labour laws even though he likes them... he’ll just say they’re important laws passed 😜😜
Women surely are capable of doing any work and we should empower them by having stricter laws against sexual abuse .
@0 1234 Yes sexual abuse on anyone by anyone is a crime and the culprit needs to be punished strictly
This is not a reform, this is just instead of many books, you need to read one book with all chapters
From 1273 provisions to 411 clauses..it's not just 4 books into 1 book dude
Thank you sir.Very much informative.
Wish you will not start hiring Reports form Naaptol Channel like other news channels are doing🙏🙏😂😂
Very well explained. Thank you. I hope good sense will prevail upon the people who unnecessarily oppose the reform laws.
