I would love to play a rpg with a system like naofumis shield how its one weapon but change into other types depending on items you feed it. All those different ups to crafting and such would be fun haha love those kind of skill trees.
It would also feel really good to update a weapon you dont need to trow away

Well there's the Dark Cloud games. You basically just use your first weapon. You upgrade its stats until you meet the requirements then evolve it. You repeat this until you get to the ultimate weapon.
Its on PS2 tho so you'll have to get an emulator
@@johnsmith93920 its on the ps4 as well i have the 2ed game and i want a third one where its like light and darkness kind of like link between worlds but you get to build towns and ill change something in the dark world like one of the main thing ill be have balance between the two worlds so no world destroying event happens. Kind of like in the dark clouds 2 where what ever you did in the past changed the future but with this idea its between two different worlds.
@@zerokura Yeah lots of people have been clamoring for Dark Cloud 3 but I guess Level5 is busy with ninokuni. Just hoping that it'll get announce one day.

Except from Soul Eater Shield, there were barely any shield unlocked. And Soul Eater Shield was barely any better than Chimera Viper Shield at first. After the whole Cal Mira grind that the shield become mose useful. Also the actual shields that will be mentioned are going to be the shields that will be appear during Spirit Tortoise's Arc.

so the reason naofumi is stronger than the other heroes is mainly because of all the stats stacking from naofumi absorbing everything he saw

@5:00 This is one of those things you'd expect of pen & paper RPGs, or simply real life: stuff takes time. XP Which reminds me... Tripl-L, do you play any such games yourself? It would give you another option for video content, though I don't know how rewarding it would be (or if you even need it XD).
Most people hear (read?) RPG and if they aren't thinking of a weapon or a video game, they think Dungeons & Dragons and... well... it is a system I've always struggled with, personally. ^^' I do better with GURPS, even though it is more complicated because it is more complicated in the "right" places. XP Like combat happening in one-second turns and not five-second rounds, building your characters by spending character points instead of having to "roll up" certain results, etc.
4:50 change shield actually allows him to make his skills to use the special effects of other shields such as when he was fighting soul eater (Shield prison obtains the needle shield effect), when he was fighting the spear hero and when he was fighting Lar'c the sickle hero (Air strike shield obtains the Soul eater shield's special effect)

What if there is a shield that allows him to change the shape of his shield to other weapons or make his shield deadlier
As far as i've read in LN, there's no such thing, but his slaver shield and monster tamer shield gives him the best companions possible due to how freaking much those slave's and monsters stats improve. Other than that there's Attack Support ability he gains in the future. That's all.
Farthest he's got is *changing his weapon*,he was able to use a staff and mirror(star/vassal weapon)
And he can only do this when his shield is gone sooo...
At 4.10 , we see chimera section of the Shield Tree (chimera meat, bone ,& leather shield) it looks like you needed to unlocked these 3 "minor" shields to unlock the Chimera Viper Shield is that correct??

Boil plant also allows naofumi to edit seeds to create different types of plants. Change shield has a dual ability to transform special move to another one (air strike shield to bee needle ).
You can create a house from one Bioplant!
If the range field Gives nawofumi attack abilities then if he used the chimera shield with change shield what kind of attack do you think that would be

I’m just going to say this in case no one realized but the shield of rage went to the shield of rage 2 after nofumi took the zombie dragon parts which gave the effect of rage to party so say we were in his party and he used it we get a massive buff to attack but we loose control and if we are knocked out it disappears off us
I thought that only happened to filo because she ate the dragon core
Jordan Hamel it was meant as a full buff but because he calmed down a bit filo got the full force of it
You might want to look up other UA-camrs videos on his Shields because you're missing some information on some of them because two of the shields that you mentioned in here he actually had to have equipped during a. Of time to gain the ability of The Shield
If you like cellphone game adaptions get ready. Shield Hero is coming soon to the play store. Instead of 1 item per shield unlcok get ready for 10/50/100/500/1000 and 50,000 items required for unlocks! The grind fest will be amazing but don't worry with your trusty friend money you can unlock them instead for a small fee of 1,000 special credits or 4.73 dollars!

I've started reading the LNs through Bookwalker like a month ago, and i'm already at Volume 12 (which i already read 1/3 of it as well). And i work at least 12 hour a day. So you have no reason to be lazy about it.

Ok, so things like Fire Resistance can be learnt permanently depending on the shield, but if two shields give the same small bonus, the second one will adjust and give something else to not give the same twice?

Isn't [Change Shield] is a skill that let Naofumi change the form of shield skill, like when he use [Air Strike Shield] , he can combo that with [Change Shield] and change the form into any shield. This will let him activate the Counter skill without having to be close to the enemy. Like when fighting Glass and L'arc he use [Air Strike Shield]--> [Change Shield] --> [Soul Eater Shield]
Yes. I have no idea why everyone describing this skill keeps getting it wrong.
When he explains how Change Shield works, he implies he can change his shield no his shield skills. It's weird, then again the LN is not really well translated.

Very early in the story. He hoped to get a shield beside Slave user shields so he was rather disappointed.

Change Shield is not like that!!!! Change Shield is used when Air Strike Shield or Second Shield is active. He can cast Change Shield so that he could transform those aerial shields into what he wants. For example, changing Air Strike Shield into Soul Eater Shield
But he has to use Change Shield on Shield Prison in order to cast Iron Maiden
Genm the Risen its the Change Shield(attack). Its only usage is when casting Iron Maiden
