I have been using the wheel cleaner for years and it works. I have tested it on paint and it works on paint too. For really heavy duty iron a stronger iron remover is needed. I do wish Ethos would complete the tire line up with a tire and rubber cleaner to complement the wheel cleaner. Defy has been my door jam go to for years and it smells amazing too. I ordered a gallon of the original wheel cleaner and I was pleased with the product as it cleaned the wheels pretty easily. It does not replace acid for trashed wheels. Foam party was fun but it took me forever to rinse the foam off but I did always add three ounces to the mtm foam cannon. I washed the car once and came back six hours later and there was still foam in the driveway. My favorite product was Defy. I m also got good results on glass and for use on maintenance interiors. The scent was often complimented on.
This is now technically our third iteration of iron removing wheel cleaner and I think you'll find it checks all the right boxes. Total Wheel & Tire works great as a tire cleaner or even our Super APC which is extremely effective and economical.

You’re correct Eddie. Tim has released some awesome products. My first ceramic coating was their Graphene Matrix Coating that I applied on my 2012 Infinity M37X. It’s still performs like day seven after curing. BTW, it’s a garage king. Defy, APC, Ceramic Refresh,Resist, Detox, and the Interior detail spray performs well also. COVID-19 provided time to for me to hone my skills as a detail enthusiast.
How long ago did you apply that ceramic coating ???

I've been an Ethos fan for a little over a year now. I'm by no means brand biased, but if I could only use one brand it would be them. Surprising that they have not been given more attention before now considering the quality. There soaps and cleaners are the best on the market IMO, and the sealants and coatings are up with the best as well. I actually just received my next package with a gallon of super APC and wheel cleaner+ today. The only gripe I have is that the sprayers that are sent with there products are low quality, but I use gallons with better sprayers anyway.
I currently have gallons of Foam party, interior detailer, defy as well. Foam party is the most highly concentrated soap I've used. It has enough cleaning power to use as a touchless if you need a quick wash, and enough lubrication to use in a bucket. I can get away with 1 oz in each, maybe less, so the cost is actually much less per wash than most soaps which require 2-3 in each. I use defy to clean up dried drips and door jams after my contact wash and have had no issues with scratching. This is my second gallon of Super APC and IMO it is the strongest and easiest to use "paint safe" cleaner on the market. Stuff like super clean my have more power and is cheaper, but it is highly damaging to plastics and metals which will degrade paint and interiors over long periods of time. I use it on heavily soiled interiors, engine bays, and tires.
I have not tried a couple of the products you were sent and am looking forward to what you think of all of them as you have experience with a broad range of products and are not afraid to give honest thoughts.
Thank you for watching first of all and we’re spending the time to write this what I’m learning is the stuff I used has been super high-quality. Smells amazing and does God‘s work. I had an issue with one tool that couldn’t get the grime off. It’s been on there for years. I use super APC straight and it took off all the grime so it does work I’m excited to try foam party. I’m excited to try to sealants to see how cleans off dirt how it interacts with grime so I’m excited for all that.
Theres alot of options out there so means a lot to hear that! We strive to make the best products possible and take customer feedback seriously to incorporate improvements every step along the way.
Another great video. Eddie I don’t use dedicated wheel cleaners. I use Dark Fury(Rage) from Superior diluted 1 to 1. Super cheap and will clean better than any dedicated cleaner. As for Ethos, I’ve used them for a couple years. Grahpene V 2.0 is great. I put Resist on my Cadillac and it lasted 9 months with no toppers. I have D3FY and it’s great. Enjoy and will be ready for the next vid!

@Ecdetails Hey Eddie. I did try Defy and Resist. I used Defy as a sealant and QD, not as a waterless wash. It worked great, really easy to use, left no streaks, and stellar gloss. It's just a tad pricey. I can say the same for Resist, I used that as a stand alone, and a topper, very easy to use, no streaking issues, super glossy. Water behavior on both products was top shelf.

The Ethos D3FY waterless is great, APC is fantastic, Interior Detailer is fantastic, wheel cleaner love it too, foam parry smells like Puerto Rico 🇵🇷💗, ceramic soap is nice, have nice microfiber towels too. Enjoyed their ceramic coating 👌👌

I thought extreme solutions had their own stuff too until I found out that’s it’s from b&b. their “topper” product that’s also the OG drying aid(which Matt says as full disclosure), is the same as Adam’s slick and slide. So are all these manufacturers just using b&b formulas, and changing maybe scent and color? Would be good to find out. Great video as always. Best fake detailer around 💯💯

I’m gonna give it a try. If it works half as well as Koch MWC without the stank it’s worth it. MWC is king of brake dust removal outside of acid. ADS wheel works almost as well as MWC but it still smells like ass, just less and mixed with fruity pebbles.
Ads wheel cleaner I switched too , used to use nv purge . But man am I freaking stoked about this wheel cleaner no smells cleans a dirty wheel does it iron thing I didn’t use soap in the bucket and you saw the results on a dirty rim 🧑🍳🤌🏽

@@Ecdetails ADS is close but I think MWC is stronger vs brake dust. ADS smells a bit better. Problem with MWC is the price for only 500 mL and I'm not sure I'm ready to buy 5 L of it.
To be honest, I don’t use an AIO wheel cleaner(iron + grime). I have an iron remover and an alkaline wheel cleaner. I use them in conjunction with each other or sometimes I’ll only use the alkaline wheel cleaner. It depends on the type of contamination.

Colors and scents can be very generic, but these two are very different formulas. You'll find ours to have more gloss and last a lot longer.
