Thanks for the appreciation! It does sound like it came from the Sega Genesis' sound chip, since most of it consisted of FM and SSG instruments (they were born out of the chip, lol). Metal Slug's chip also consisted of these, but they were overshadowed by the real instrument samples the ADPCM channels had! So it feels pretty weird listening to Mission 1 without said instruments playing!
@@kitsunedj3472 To me, it doesn't feels so weird (Maybe Gerhardt City, but i like it too...) . Of course, i do prefer the ADPCM (full instrumentation), but i actually like this. Some of the trumpets kinda reminds me of Casino Night from Sonic 2.(Sorry if i did a typo, i'm brazilian)
Yeah, but I only muted the ADPCM B channel, and we can still hear some of the samples from the ADPCM A channel, besides the FM instruments. I'm a Brazil man too!

@@abnerhenrique5534 É, até da pra lembrar, só que o soundtrack do Metal Slug Anthology foi gravado de outros Metais Slug. Ou seja, fizeram o mesmo que fizeram antes com o 4 e o 5. Os st's são streamlined, só ficam num canal. O bom é que os do Neo Geo contem canais mutáveis e que não tem stream
