Putting Hallow in Pre-Hardmode in Terraria ─ Not a great idea... right?

- There is one biome in Terraria that cannot be accessed until certain progress is made: Hallow. Hallow biome is a wonderful place with rainbows and unicorns... unicorn that tries to defeat you, that is... But say, what if we were to put hallow biome in pre-hardmode? Not sure why you'd do that, but it might create a challenge with stronger enemies from get-go! Or, you might be able to obtain great loot from them!... well...

I always imagined a prehardmode Hallow biome having a giant tree with "forbidden fruit" as opposed to the caverns and orbs of the other evil biomes.

Fun fact : Pearlstone has the same requirements as Crimstone or ebonstone , you'll need to defeat EoW or BoC to get the pickaxe strong enough to mine it, not great to some early exploration I guess

I always liked the Hallow because they also give you an opportunity to have wings, the Fairy Wings and help alot on mobility which is an important part of overcoming Hard mode difficulty
you can get stuff for easy wings elsewhere though. witch doctor sells a decent pair for 1 plat
Also it's a valid biome for Housing unlike Crimson/Corruption, even if it spreads like them.
A bonus pylon is helpful.

Ayo the hallow biome isn't looking quite the same now as it used to 😏😏
The only reason I would want a pre-hardmode hallow is because it is calmer than the snow biome in a sunny day. You know we builders like peaceful places to do our building.

Thank you so much for showing the lack of crystals, I am trying to go as far as I can in pre-hardmode before I go into hardmode, and I really didn’t want to waste my time making a crystal farm that yields no crystals. Well… I’m not sure that I will use the philosopher’s stone glitch, because it seems a little overpowered.

Pearlwood is probably the worst wood in the game simply because it has the same stats as all other wood but can only be found in hardmode.

The Hallow fishes could be a use too so, Pre-hardmode Hallow is a bit useful
Doing things nobody needs, but enjoys
wait i didn’t know the clentaminator could convert mud to dirt
Evil biomes convert mud into dirt and then corrupt the dirt itself if grass is near by
This is why it's dangerous for the jungle if you are not careful to catch it
The green ore that spawns after killing a mechanical boss will actually dirt into mud if placed underground (may need to be the caverns)
And it will slow down the spread of the evil biomes
Hollow does not destroy mud so it can actually be used to protect the jungle
And the hollow can actually convert crimson grass
But wait! There is something you missed…

How were they able to place the torches like that?? Is it a mod or something specific to the game mode they were in? Because that would be SO helpful in actual playthroughs!
If you're talking about torches being automatically converted, put 101 torches right next to each other in the underground
It's journey mode player and world with increased block placement, the game has that function with Journey's Powers

I think lightning bugs spawn in prehardmode hallow at least. Of course nothing game breaking but something to note.
