Hello there I’m a long time subscriber i love your videos and that review was great I have 5 orlandoos all built and painted just haven’t taken them outside at all yet
You can do the lights with a normal size soldering iron cuz I did the original Orlando hunter lights with one. Yes, it takes a steady hand and a lot of light but it can be done.
I ordered the D4L kit, and it should be here next week. I am going to attempt to put it in my Axeil C10 1/24th, and also the light kit. It is the first kit I've seen of this size that can do sound and proper lights. If I blow the ESC ( a possibility ) , I may also try a replacement hookup.
G'day guys....i went to my local electronics shop here in Australia and bought a large dioptre system. I can work on small stuff on my WPL and SCX24, would be a good investment for us old people.... it cost $50AUD, so about $35USD. please if you have small parts or u have trouble seeing small things this is a great tool. Cheers for this look at a tiny crawler..from ya m8 Downunder!!
@5:30 to bad the axles don’t have the capability of being unlocked/ locked. I know it’s locked. But, I would love to see the ability to lock and unlock them
I can attest to the difficulty on those small builds! I've built the 1/35 scale Ford F150... 😱 I'm just about to start on the 1/32 scale Orlandoo Defender. Now I want this one too!!
I have 2S 260mah Orlando inside build, light ( 2 3mm led on front and 3 microdiod rear with module card ) and sound. I's awesome rig indoor. I have also 2 motor. 200rpm for crawling and 1000rpm for bouncer, there is also 3000rpm online. Skid bottom plate alum is first of upgrade to do. After some time, the round screw come out. I put Beadlock ( 18mm ) with 36mm new tire ( stock is 33mm ), 28mm shock upgrade ( stock is 24 ) and brass each wheel ( with some other improvement ) to awesome crawling. :)
OMG. I just realized how small these are!! But great video! I’m back! Sorry for the delay, but I was logged out of UA-cam for a bit! But I should be back as much as I can
The insane amount of frustration building these kits is too much for me. Even 32nd scale is annoying for these old eyes. Also, for the money, I would rather just get an SCX24 and call it a day on the mini crawler front. That is plenty small enough imho. Plus the aftermarked support. Thanks for showing us this cool little guy.
Really interested in this kit... for something rather different, I'd order the super slow and fastest motor available. Just looks really neatly packaged. Not sure if my near 47 year old eyes are ready, but being a hobby watchmaker Ive got my huge magnifier and enough light to help my neighbours to their driveways lol.... Awesome review!
I built the fake Ford truck version of this kit. This kit is not for beginners. It is a very difficult build. I do have the very same radio. That helps a lot. If you want to use more powerful motors you will need a different speed control that is separate from the receiver. That will be hard to do because of the size of this small truck. They do have many parts that are made of metal. I did buy those parts too. They actually make metal axles for my kit. It is hard to figure out which parts go with which kits. Also, the instructions are difficult to follow on both the after-market parts and also the kit. Only buy this kit if you are an experienced modeler and you want a really small rock crawler truck.
It is a niche market for sure but at the same time, if you want something in the micro scale category there are not so many hobby grade products to choose from.
@@chanderson2559 bullshit it's like 90$ for the kit, a kit doesn't come with electronics or a transmitter and reciever. Easily over 150$ when you're done. He literally tells you at the beginning how much they spent lmao.
This is so cool!! Just dont have the skills to build it myself. RTR version is what i need.
I wish Axial sold an SCX24 in kit form.
These even smaller kits looks awesome, but a little too small for what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the videos.
Man that's tiny! I'd say maybe to small. But kudos for the build!
Pretty interesting! Really sweet little truck! 😃
Great review, dude!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
It's very well done for the size and price. Tough build though.
I started building the 110 and gave it to my daughter right away. It's sitting in a box now waiting to be finished.
I’ve had my eye on that rig. Very cool! So tiny!
We've been looking for a while. This one looks like a performer.
Awesome little unit, personally I would just leave the sound unit out. But looks awesome

I bought one of these last night and here goes the video oh yeah
The matrix knows.

Awesome it is!🤯 I almost shrunk myself for this tiny micro buggy 🙁😉 cool, it's so creepy 🦀 like fast!
honey i shrunk the buggy

There is an unlocked axle available. It isn't switchable though
It's nice and cute...I'm sticking to 1/10 scale plus I still building up upgrading parts for my Axial Bomber 2.0

You like a challenge i see. Have you put together their lights?
@@RCReviewChannel I'm working up the courage to do that.... ☠️🙈
It's like the Baby Yoda of rock bouncers.

Wich Batterie do you use?
@@marcoreis6030 Lipo 2S Orlandoo 260mah or other Lipo 2S 250mah.
You guys look like father and son thanks for the reviews
For sure. He's about the same age as my son.

yeah, where were you. :)
Nice little bouncer ... I'd have to have some younger hands to build it also .
What size resister does Axial use on scx24 head light ?
REMINDS ME ON MY LOSI MICRO CRAWLER MANY YEARS AGO... SO MANY MODS UNTIL I GOT BORED...

Will the A-arm front suspension kit fit on this?.
How does this compare in size to regular orlandoo? will you show side by side comparison?
Wich batterie fits in this set? I ordered the "DooRock" and looking for a batterie for this.
1:32 plot twist- the flag toothpicks are stuck in at 45° and the camera tilted lol
i want to see this perform on the rocks... where is that test footage at
It's coming. We just need a proper battery. It's in the mail... slow boat. We'll challenge the SCX254
@@RCReviewChannel i look forward to it
I don't see the issue with a 3 hour build surely that's half the fun.
It’s not the hours that make it difficult it is the microscopic parts.

Should AVC be used in a crawler?

I've got one of the original orlandoo hunter kits, the f250 and it is soooo slow that it's almost painful to drive🤪
Looks like their motors come in 200 rpm to 2000 rpm gearing!
@@RCReviewChannel I've noticed that they're the same motor and gearbox as the 1/10 scale winches too🤔
WHERE CAN I GET THAT SOUND KIT? I need that for my scx24!
This is question I wanted to ask
So the fitment sucked?
Hmmm...I love it but it is just so small!
it's a tiny dancer
@@RCReviewChannel lol good one!
Opppp cool
Their kits are all a pain. Parts have to made to fit. I like my little jeeps.
You've assembled which ones?
Its to small for my eyes & I can't see it selling.😀
these things do sell, the original one was a hot item when it first came out.
These kits sell very well. Lots of upgrades also
There's glasses and magnifiers and excuses
It is a niche market for sure but at the same time, if you want something in the micro scale category there are not so many hobby grade products to choose from.
Not worth $150+.
good thing it isn't

Pretty cool, but that thing is ugly ,electronics and wires all visible, just ugly.
Battery on top is dumb just saying 😒
it needed to be said huh? :)
@@RCReviewChannel lol
For the cost it's just not worth it with a SCX-24 costing what it does
