I just pulled the trigger on this kit I got the complete kit with the d4l and I think I’m going to be happy with it
Orlandoo kits are Amazing.
All of their trucks are a blast.
Thank you so much for pulling the trigger on this for us. I have been on the fence about getting one of these for a couple months. I’m definitely grabbing one now. Love your videos keep up the great content!
Hope you enjoy it!
I just built one I got for Christmas and the wiring for the lights was the hardest part for me, other than installing the ball ends with that tiny allen wrench.
I know my first cheat will be buying the steel pre-built axles and shocks, 😆 I have several now. Can't wait to get started. The sound system was the clincher for me. Cheers
Now... two things.
You the man F!
That is off the chains cool!
Finding little nuggets in the hobby is what it's all about.
@@RCReviewChannel Absolutely, just caught the 10 greatest thing of crawling video as well and thought it was spot on.
Love the channel, thanks all you guys do!
Hahaha I was just looking at ordering one but saw waiting for review iam in shock cuz I was just saying last night to a friend that someone need to make a good vid on this truck lol
Glad I could help
Another great video💪🔥great work man
Thank you again
fantastic, nice run through. Probably going to have a look at buying one!
Great review! I love the orlandoo trucks, they are great trucks and are very underrated.
Yes they are!
i have one. with little upgrade become my favourite indoor crawler rig!
Right on! What upgrades are best?
@@RCReviewChannel in my opinion three are fundamental. Weights in the Orlandoo 18mm ring rims ( jeep and other orlando have 15mm rims ), the 280 shock absorbers and the aluminum skid where the 4 links go. With intensive use the round head screws with the plastic stock one tend to come out. Personally I also got the Beadlock CNC Aluminum rims 18MM (additional weight, I use it as a crawler) and 36mm tires (stock is 33mm, Jeep and other Orlando have 27,5/28mm ). I increased the ground clearance and compensated with the rim weights. My next step is 4WS steering. A wonder now, on my profile I have shared some test videos. :)
I'd love to see one of their trail trucks or their raptor style truck with ifs in a future review..
Hahahahahahaha oh my god!!!!! Your little sidekick and you are twins!!!!
One thing to keep in mind, there is no Lipo cuttoff so monitor the runtimes.
There is now in the new d401
Wow! Amazing, thanks for share!! WoooW!
Our pleasure!
@@RCReviewChannel Thanks!
Awesome! Waiting for the build and review. I've also been sitting on the fence on this one. This rock bouncer looks much more attractive than the other Orlandoos. Seems like it's got much more ground clearance and a lower cg because of the skeleton body.
You and me both! The other ones look so top heavy but this looks like a performer.
Cool! Thanks for the review! I've been looking at this kit as it looks like a fun building challenge. I'm curious for the build and run review. I think I'm going to put the kit on my Santa list ;-). I will probably control it over WiFi with an ESP8266 and the RemoteXY app. As it is so tiny the relatively short range with WiFi does not matter.
Needed a side by side with an scx24 for comparison of size.
I’ve got to get one of these!!
Wow did you guys get a new camera? The running footage was really crisp. Nice video. 💯
Yes! Thank you!
Ther is also a lot of metal upgrades complete axel and drivetrain
I gave up, break for few days thand i reassemble again 🤪🤪🤪 excellent platform, rolling cage replacement part is missing everywhere, 3000 rpm in mine 😈 but destroyed before run it 😭 they’re getting cheaper.
I’m first again. I made it!!
They seem very capable! You should do this vs the axial scx24
I’m at school, so there was no volume, but I loved the clips of it driving!!
Great work!
Also, I got the gladiator! It’s awesome! The only thing is that the drive shaft popped out with in 8 mins. Is this a common issue?
Wait til you hear the sounds!!
@@RCReviewChannel will do!!
great review and cool little rc but 1/24 is as small as I am gonna go, to small for me. cheers
Keep up the good work 💪
Always!
I dig!
I just built mine and ill never do that again lol! It was so tedious and if you drop any hardware kiss it goodbye. Really fun to drive though!
Need to do scx24 shootout with it. Lol. Great video as always sir!
I think we can definitely do that
ua-cam.com/video/GTPdCgw9hLA/v-deo.html At the end of this video you can see a picture with both rock bouncer and SCX24.
Wish there was an rtr version.
Rc4wd 1/18, a tiny bit bigger than scx24
Auto rc geko24 super scale chassis
2 micro crawlers that seem cool!
Looks cool. Too small for me though. My rock racer will be the axial rr10 bomber.
Has any tried or does anyone know if the track kit will fit this model? I'd like to add tracks to the front and keep the rear stock. Thoughts?
Just wondering how and where I can find all the electronics? I would really like to build one of these for me and the kids but I’ve been standoffish about it because I’m worried I wouldn’t get things that work and it would end up costing me 200 bucks in the end
Hi, this is really tempting! I have to buy one..... Ciao Nanni
It's so good!
@@RCReviewChannel bought, with radio and sevo.........
Looks like a mini twin hammers
That's it!!
Oh my God i forget to read the description...so 120mah how long?
Uhhhh I almost bought a couple Mini-Z cars to play with over the winter, but these look great!
You should! We'll complete our build shortly. Mini-Z cars really need a trACK.
I've been wanting a orlandoo for a while but I'm intimidated by the size and building it I have no clue where to get electronics for something like this.
It's all in our links in the description now. All from Amainhobbies
Its funny seeing blades of grass that are bigger.
Yeah, that finally reveals the scales of these tiny cars.
Look up Beavers Hobby, he had one he reviewed and built. Has some good tios.
Can the radio store more than one vehicle?
nice
Thanks
Mau i know the battery you using? sorry if my English is bad...I'm still learning...I'm Indonesian
Hi very nice small kit I change motor for 2000rpm....lots of fun;)
Nice 👍
I've seen these on ebay. I want one. But building them i don't think i can do it. I wish they where rtr
Market woud be so much bigger with RTR. Like most things RC.
What battery do you recommend? I have everything else in my cart waiting, lol
this one looks good snp.link/6105e5c2
@@RCReviewChannel Are you sure that 280 mah battery will fit? the room in this car is very limited for the esc and a battery of this size. I use 120 and 100 mah batteries. It would be nice if you could confirm that the 280 mah battery fits in. With one battery of this mah you could drive this little car for a long time. In any case good review.
Links of product doesn't work, bye friend
I wanted one, but whati 'm finding about crawlers, is the smaller they are the more expensive they get. 1/10 is basically the cheapest platform, with most parts. :-(
WPLs are pretty cheap and 1/16th to 1/14th. Except for shocks so many parts.
@@Cassienope Well I have a WPL C44KM.. it's cool, but not all that capable. Most bigger tires I see people put on are either huge (for 1/10) or the MN-99 tires, which aren't *that* much bigger. So I was hoping for more 1/16 crawler tire options :-(
Yeah as far as cheapness, my WPL cost the same as the Orlandoo Hunter haha.. but for what I paid for my WPL + good electronics, I could've gotten another Everest 10 RTR kit, or almost an Everest Gen 7 RTR... just wanted something smaller, and scale.
@@Cassienope Also have an SCX24... lots of parts for it atleast, albeit pricey as hell! lol
Must have
They're cool but l just can't bring myself to go with something that small. Great info though.
You and me both! We'll see this run though. This might be the desk crawler I'm looking for.
tesla should install those speakers on their units
I have and built the Ford truck by Orlandoo. It is very small, but it is cool. This build is not for beginners. It is very hard to assemble because of the size. Also if you want the sound unit and the LEDs it is even harder to set-up. I did not install the sound unit because I had a hard time figuring out where it could would fit. I also did not install the LEDs because it would be hard to solder wires that small. Also you can get metal axles and other metal parts too. I did get the metal axles and I did install them, but the instructions are not very clear. The radio is good and it is the best for these small trucks. Also the receiver also has an ESC that is built in , or you get a separate ESC for faster motors and more power. It is simpler to use the ESC, receiver that comes with the radio. Why, because it saves space in such a small truck. Thoughts?
Really really helpful info for us.
Check out tiny4x4.com ... they have all the kits and electronics along with upgrade parts, shocks, metal axles cosmetic upgrades etc.... best place to buy 👌🏽
the price is not small
Pretty cool, to bad it is manufactured in china
hot model! But still chinese.. much Better to design and make my model by myself..
That we'd like to see.
It is sensible to start with this and start making one's bodies and components.
@@RCReviewChannel yes, why not, i've done something similar with kyosho mad force making a crazy crawler
I’d rather pay someone to build it for me
