Acid Rain is one of those songs that sounds like it's existed in my mind since the beginning of time, but it took Lorn to unlock its power. Definitely a weird feeling.
exactly! you took the word right out of me!! the first time I heard the song I felt really odd and I felt like I was having an outer body experience, I also felt like crying. it was a really weird experience, such an amazing song.
This is so beautiful...Sometimes when I cannot look at where our civilization goes, I play this on headphones. Cars are moving, people going back from work. Some drunk guy is sitting next to a bus station, waiting for his salvation. This is my soundtrack then. It completely changes how I see things. "The Maze" helps me to find myself...
That synth tone in Acid Rain is next level.... So haunting and intriguing. Feels like the end of the world....and maybe the beginning of a new one. The timbre feels like an 80s sax solo, but slightly distorted...warbly...deconstructed. Absurdly evocative futuristic noir vibes... Anyone reading this who likes that vibe, definitely look up Deftones' song "Hearts/Wires." The intro takes me to a very similar place emotionally. Both tracks feel like they'd be right at home on a Blade Runner soundtrack. Neon lights...rain...the dark city looming all around you...
This album is one of the few that really brings about imagery and has its own aesthetic. Each song I listen to is associated with visuals and this album is just incredible art.
I've been listening to Lorn for ten years now. Every track makes me feel... You weigh me down makes me feel as though I've been there in his tracks too.
I was looking for the source album for Entangled and found it on The Maze To Nowhere right after There Ain't Nothing It's Just Pain And Then Yer Gone and Acid Rain. That seemed worth mentioning.
you think you can grab or feel or see the passion, real motivation, but it's come from admitting the you don't have any motivation. paradoxical but admit it. you don't wanna do anything and you want admit this

I'm not surprised there's no comments, there's really no words to encapsulate how incredible this music is.
