TRX...DAAYUUMM! Watching and listening to your test drive with the TRX reminded me of my best friend's uncle who, in 1967 purchased a new Plymouth GTX with a 440ci, 4-speed and 4:10 Dana rear. He would bet friends $20 that they couldn't reach out and touch the windshield while he was going through the gears. Never lost a bet. That TRX is a freaking monster! Thanks for trompin on it for us.

@@jokerfam3331 idk man I have a lifted 2017 raptor my daughter is a girly girl, but she absolutely loves the sound it makes and she is always begging me to take her somewhere in it.
Remember when they did all the special edition RAM sports in the Gen 4. A TRX is out of my price range I'd love to see RAM do that again in either the Rebels or Sports. they had Ignition Orange, Sublime green, Copper head pearl and 2 blues. My Favorite was the 2018 Hydro Blue it had custom blue interior accents. Also was the first year for the Hydro Blue colour.
I love the TRX and the color this comes in. The mods are actually pretty cool minus the middle exhaust cutout because it actually sounds louder out of the rear exhaust. That truck seems so much faster then stock and for some literally it’s their super car !!! This was a great video Ben. Love seeing these different vehicles that have had mods done and more HP. Surprisingly for Ram they seem to have seriously fast shifts. That truck is a BEAST!!!!!!!
The 8HP95 trans has 60 selectable mapping programs for shifting. I believe that's why so many German brands stick with it(and its reliability and ability to handle 850lb-ft of torque) over DCTs because of how quick it shifts, very little if any shift shock, and calm it remains when the going gets really tough.
I agree on the exhaust. I think I would've added the cut-out but still have it routed to the back. GTHAUS makes an amazing exhaust for the TRX tough.

Iv'e done so many mods on my truck! I gave up trying to count them, and thought there would never be a RAM I would want more. BUT along comes the TRX, DAM!!! Just a bit out of what my wallet can handle, I think this truck of mine got up to about $50,000 after all has been said and done.

I have a pedalmax on my Ram and it gives such a big improvement on throttle response. I assumed the TRX would have had that built into the performance modes....

I test drove one of them it’s got a heads up display fully loaded and I love it I felt the power. I drove 3 Shelby trucks. I finally drove a 2019 Shelby F-150 velocity blue 755hp

Love the Ignition TRX! The orange really adds to the badassery.
While the truck is overpriced, all TRXs are overpriced, even used these days. So I'm not mad at the seller for charging what the market says a loaded TRX w/ TR2 pkg will bring. That said, I'd love more detail on how the owner achieved the 60+hp. The B.Woody intake is one of the best, and I did hear him say that he had a TAZER for the throttle response, but those wouldn't add very much HP. As an owner of two modified Hellcats, getting 60hp is achievable with bolt ons, but a few more than these.

Intake does NOT add 60hp..if ANY.. it does help with hearing the SC whine however.

@@BenHardyCars The TASER DT doesn’t offer any performance benefit, the pedal commander gives the feel, but it’s just in throttle response, not actual HP & exhaust + intake may offer a feel of the seat increase but unless he’s changed the pully there’s minimal if any HP, certainly not a full 60. - with that I’m all for what he’s done & agree completely that more of that should’ve been done from the factory. Hoping they extend the new power levels from just the dodge brand hellcat engines to the TRX as well to get actual HP increases & performance under warranty

These TRXs are way overpriced. Ordered and took delivery of my 2022 last week, 4% below MSRP. Out the door taxes and all $83k. I would not buy a 2021 more that I would pay for a 2022. I know its the local area, but I would fly to buy new one for $83k than pay $120k for used one. Shop around. Love the truck!

I bought my TRX for $81,000 sold it for $97,000 while it was still at the dealer waiting for me to pick it up! People are so stupid and spending money on “big toys” that will be worth nothing in about 5 minutes.
My question is why would chevy and ford and Nissan and ram and gmc be bringing out electric at this time why electric in 2022 like why can't people buy engine vehicles what if theirs still a little bit of engine vehicles what if I can't afford electric what am I supposed to do when I have my Driver's license

ugly rims and if youre not getting power side steps youre getting ripped off for that price tag. i have a 2019 fully loaded ram and im not missing out on that 300 HP ..i honestly cant believe people are even buying these. i absolutely love the rams but i cant get behind the trx . why wouldnt they just make a bare bones truck with a good suspension and 700 hp and sell it for 50k..
