Legitimately snapping them across your knee. That was a nice test and gives a very real feel of brutal abuse it may or may not be able to take. Well done, very informative video
I love how proud of his umbrella he is, love it
Yup. Glad I invested in the Unbreakable umbrella. I hope I never have to test it for real, but I'm confident it'll hold up if needed. 👍
He’s just a 65 year old gigachad.
What a legend.
This dude's 65 yrs old and has been telling us over and over: the unbreakable's been around for more than a decade now and no competitor comes close to this as most inconspicous, legal, and most durable umbrella, as a tool against rain, sunlight, and bad people
Though I hope a discount on the telescopic model happens. I'm ok with the walking stick prices, but the telescopic one is almost double the price. I live in the Philippines and umbrellas are really handy no matter the weather
Hahaha! Everyone wants to imitate but tries to do so without keeping the true intent or quality in mind. The real unbreakable umbrella. There is no substitute.
Nice marketing stunt.
You do realize that applying force on the middle of the rod with one point of contact (knee) will make it easier to break it rather than spreading the force on the rod with 2 points of pression (feet) not centered on the rod, right ?
Do the same tests on each of them and you need to prove that you apply the same force to each. That's scientific/believable tests, not your crappy ad.
Yeah I was a bit confused on why he didn't do the same test to their own umbrella...
One knee, one point of pressure, all while it's being pulled back in the opposite direction by hand.
Meanwhile two feet, two points of pressure, less weight on those points, and no opposite force.
Not a fair comparison.
Now obviously if your attacker takes your umbrella and bends it over their knee you've lost whether it breaks or not.
But in terms of trying to figure out whether or not this is worth the extra cost it's not helpful at all...
I noticed the same issue as you did. He did not do the same tests on his umbrella and to me, that is really fishy. Maybe his umbrella will also break under the same condition? This video is not convincing unless he does the same test on his product.
The Unbreakable Umbrella.
Accept no substitutes.
I'm pretty certain the Walther and the UC umbrellas are made by the same company and branded differently for different markets. Walther brand knives are the same deal.
... made by the same company, in the same Chinese factory ...
Those chairs are pretty strong too.
They'd make a handy side arm!
Great video !
Glad you enjoyed it
I owned 2 U-115 umbrella-very tough-but main issue is the velcro and the lock- after a year of use the velcro does not hold anymore and the lock opens when not pressed
If you bought the umbrella less than 5 years ago, then they are covered by our warranty. Contact us at unbreakableumbrella.com/contact/
