      @AltCine thanks for your reply, I'm always watching into Fuji systems (APSC and 44x33mm). But a used Sony plus some cheap primes makes the trick for less money. Anyway, it could be great to try Fuji in the future if the prices drop a bit. Now used Fuji equipment is in a bubble, at least in my country, pricier than used Sony. This is interesting: Fujilm releases a camera with insane specs for a reasonable price, and Sony releases the ZV-E1 with full frame sensor , dual ISO base, and basically the same sensor as the much more high end FX-3 cinema line camera. But why?? Why so «cheap»? I think the answer (this is only a theory) is that both Sony and Fujifilm is fully aware of that a new mirrorless camera from DJI might be just around the corner, and I honestly think that camera will shake the cameraworld to pieces with insane technology, very well laid out UI, and for a reasonable price. I think all the big camera manufactures are afraid of what DJI soon will release. But as I said, this only a theory, even maybe a conspiration-theory, but we all love conspirations don`t we😆 I wish you all a happy new year

      @@theclaverman I love a good conspiracy 🤣 but what you've said makes complete sense. Now DJI have people's attention with the 4D, it would be amazing to have a small cine cam that has modular features like the focus system.

      Hi, yes it's fantastically priced. From what I've read, the XS20 could be a better option if it's your main camera but I've been downsizing for the last year.
      I sold my 2 x FX6 and my fx30's and now have FX3, ZVE1 so I was looking for something very small, inexpensive with good features that I can use out and about plus the ability to potentially use for pro work.
      The last shot was the zve1 mounted on pole attached to ceiling. I bounced a single cob light up to the ceiling and it's very bright.

    epic movie mate. been looking into this camera since some chap on the group mentioned it and it instantly stuck with me above all other suggestions. question is whether I should just sell all my M gear and move on entirely on the M-X5, as I don't really have use for 2 cameras. love the freedom raw gives, no doubt about it, but this camera seems like it does not suffer from the lack of it and offers so much more.

      Thank you brother 🙌🏾 honestly...I love the Eos-M and the OG and made more videos with them that I can count but the X-M5 is a no brainer.
      You're getting a lot of camera for the money but none of the limitations of the others.
      Although I've slimmed down my gear, I still have a lot of cams but I do not regret this purchase one bit. I actually may sell the ZVE1 just so I don't feel guilty lol
      Think about it some more but I highly recommend it.

      @@AltCine Cheers then. Been also looking at a camera everyone seems to hate - the Lumix G100, which depreciated severely due to that, and even if it's just 8 bits, the sparse footage I dug up seems fine and certainly has quite a bit of cinematic potential. I mean, we are talking a 250 quid body here, really tempted to give it a try for shits and giggles.

    • @khanceptbelal
      @khanceptbelal 11 днів тому

      @@AltCine It's not that your shots are too tight. For me. A camera that small must be paired with a similarly sized lens so that I can toss it into my bag. That's one of the reasons why the EOSM and the Eos M6 Mark II have been used heavily by myself simply because of the 22 mm f2. It just makes it so easy to pick up and take with me. With Sony, I've got the 20 mm 2.8. I know Fuji has the 27 mm 2.8. Lumix doesn't really have an option of this size on the l mount. Canon's RF has the 28 mm 2.8 pancake. Micro 4/3 has the 14 mm. Unfortunately, they haven't made any updated small micro 4/3 bodies with delayed the newer tech. Generally, these pancakes are known to give between a 35 to 40 mm on full frame. Couple that with and it's the 360 go 3 for wide angles, and you've got yourself an excellent combo.

      I just bought the Fuji fan used on WEX for £79 as overheating is one of my concerns too. They do have the 4kLP mode that helps with longer recording but I probably would recommend getting some kind of fan (even a cheap third party) for longer run times.
