  • I had an error P2200 and P2209 on my Audi. I attempted to fix the errors with cleaning the sensors. Cleaning does not help because the issue with this errors is in the heating element. I replaced the NOx sensor and all is good now.
Anyway I will show you cleaning procedures for NOx and lambda sensors and their removal procedures.

Hello. I have audi a4 cnha engine, 2015 model. My vehicle is at 240,220 km. I took it to my mechanic for heavy maintenance and it has exactly the same set-up as your engine. I am very happy to see this video. I deposited the sensors in isopropyl alcohol while I was being serviced. The ends were left in isopropyl alcohol for 1 day. (2 exhaust gas temperature, 1 oxygen, 1 nox sensor). When I looked at the sensors, they were all cleaned, no residue, soot or dirt remained 👍. everything of the vehicle was ok, we went for a test drive and it turned on the check engine lamp on the road. when we got back at service, we connected it to ODIS and got the p2200 and p2209 errors. The computer directly told us that "the G295 and J583 sensor should be replaced, suspecting it to be defective." First of all, we checked to see if there was a problem in the wiring of the sensor to the ECU in terms of safety. Electricity was going to the ECU. So there is no problem with the socket. the problem itself was directly the nox sensor and control unit... (G295 and J583) I will ask if the cleaning process may have spoiled it, but I dont think that 99.9% isopropyl alcohol will spoil it, after all alcohol is a volatile and cleaning substance. Cleaning didn't work for me. should i buy a new sensor? exactly the same, including our sensor codes (8K0 907 807 J). And also I want to contact you if possible. I would like to send photos from instagram dm

Hi there. Indeed cleaning was not the answer for me either. Replacing NOX is expensive. I think replacing it with a second hand one is a good option as long as it does not cost a lot. I got mine from an Audi A4 2018 for about 40 euro and is working ever since. It is very important to get the same model as you have.

@@bonevchannelso does it have to same sensor code? Will my vehicle still accept the nox sensor in a b9 case 190 hp (e.g. DETA or DFHA or any 2.0 diesel euro6) a4 or a newer nox sensor manufactured after 2015?

    Hello!
    I have an Audi A4 B9 150CP DEUA motor.
Do you have any idea if is it possible to get a nox sensor from a 3.0 engine (Audi A4 B9 3.0)?
Is it compatible from engine 3.0?
    Thnaks,
    Benjamin

If the numbers on the NOx sensor match then no problem.

Yes it will be as long as the part has exactly the same part number!

Did you just replace the sensor or did you also replace the module?

My car is Audi A4 B8.5 Allroad. At the end I took the sensor from Audi A4 B9 2018 which turned out to be exactly the same just a newer version.

It is worth a try but did not help my case either. Replacing is the solution. Look second hand as new is very expensive.
