Great stuff all looking fantastic. So happy to hear you have a few restaurants on the go👍 Also been on the same road as your aubergine story. Nature doesn't put soap or garlic spray etc on anything. Just the green fly arrive before the lady birds. Any aubergine that can't stand up to the initial attack probably won't produce a harvest anyway. And in order to establish predators you need pray if the predators are tasting soap on their food they will go live somewhere else. Just have to get through the initial few years until the balance shifts. 👍
Thanks Odhran, really appreciate all the brilliant advice and insight you gave me. Now thinking about doing veg boxes properly for next year. It's so true about the predators/pests. I wanted to believe it even though it seemed wishy washy. I had to experience it for myself. Now I'm going all in!
Lovely garden - in future videos it would be great to hear more about the specific varieties you are growing and some of the connections between each crop and the restaurants.
Heya, thanks for the feedback. I will probably do a crop planning video over the winter months which will go into more detail. Currently we are supplying restaurants with mostly salad mix, kale, chard, scallions, spinach, parsley, dill, coriander(cilantro) and edible flowers.
Savage Video really must pop out some day
Thanks Ste!
I am just blown away with your gardens progress! Your family must be so proud of you!

First comment 🥳. Thanks for the update. Really enjoyed the video and seeing all the changes from last video.
Thanks Penny! I watched the June video before I made this one and I got a shock 😅. Your own garden looks like it's going well for you too! 👍

Beautiful, productive & beneficial to the wildlife. Can't wait to see it next year. Thanks for sharing your progress.
Thanks Lillian, I'd say I could do with a hand putting in the new beds and digging the pond if you're up for it!
Fantastic! 👏

How big is your property? I'm trying to get a sense of scale and what's possible for the size.
The main property is 0.7ha (1.7ac.). Our entire market garden growing area for 2023 is 700m2 split into 130 5m x 75cm beds with 45cm wide paths.
