    Mate, great job. At 67 it is never too late for a new and worthwhile trick. I will teach my 7 year old daughter.
    I did 'Daisy Chain' (same a Chain Sinnet) 15 m of 4-folded 1.5 mm nylon Hootchie cord; this lived in my army trouser's pocket with my Victorinox pocket knife . Thanks from Greg in Thailand

    I've worn a boonie for many years now and I frequently have to tell folks the loops are for "brush not bullets". I really like the idea you have here and will do the same. You can never have to much cordage .

    Cool tip, never thought about this. I will say that I've never seen anyone refer to a daisy chain as a chain sinnet except in books.

    I jus tdaisy chain the paracord and store it behind the bottom flap of the back plate of my plate carrier (currently a JPC 2.0 Maritime). There is enough room in the pocket for about 200 ft of paracord, or 50 ft of tubular webbing (useful for a LOT of applications. The Paracord can be accessed whenever needed, and it will belay out on its own with a small modification (burning a small hole then adding an eyelet to the material to feed an end through). IDK, I learned it from older Rangers. Works with whatever carrier you have, might have to adapt the method slightly differently though.

    Never knew what the name was. That's the best way to stow extension cords on the job, nice to see it works for Paracord storage too.

Words get dropped or changed, punctuation appears, disappears or gets changed and the voice to text is even worse; no matter how many times I reset to Google voice, the foul samsung keyboard and voice switch back. But thanks for the non grammar lesson. Oh n on YT, I often dumb it down as grammar, vocabulary n syntax are sorely lacking. Now go away. Tertiary grammar, LOL. Btw the issue was improper syntax NOT poor grammar ant that was due to my keyboard issue. You do know the difference between syntax n grammar right?

    I did 104” inches of paracord and had to do every other loophole to go around the boonie cap. I wear a size 7 1/2 cap

    In my entire time in the corps I never saw anyone do this. The last place I want to add weight is on my cover. If you want extra weight hanging off your head, wear the fuckin' helmet.

      My entire time in the 82nd we never called it a helmet. Brain bucket, k pot, ect, ect. In fact they were specifically not named, or referred to as a helmet! I'm always amazed at how some POG always says that they never did this or that when they see how the Airborne guys roll out. Sounds like you and yer comment to me.

    Terrific idea - one that I call "stupidly brilliant": "stupid", because it is so simple *I* should have thought about it, and "brilliant", well, because it is a great idea.
    If you make it long enough, can it be used as a load bearing rope (2x paracord strength of 550-lbs)?

      The average male head is -22.5 inches circumference. The braid is double strand. Adding 15% overhead for the braid path gives approximately 52 inches. (Yeah, I know ... nerdy girl. I'm an analyst so I do stupid stuff like that.)
