Marine here whos worn a boonie cap for many years now. Dont put anything in the fucking loops you noob, no marines are out there putting 550 cord in their fucking boonies like its nam or something
@@BK-uy9nj you are mad about the red wave and decided to talk crap about something you know nothing about. I don't know if you served. And I always look for ways to stash extra cordage. You act as if you are an expert on the boonies, then what were the loops sewn in the hat for?
I jus tdaisy chain the paracord and store it behind the bottom flap of the back plate of my plate carrier (currently a JPC 2.0 Maritime). There is enough room in the pocket for about 200 ft of paracord, or 50 ft of tubular webbing (useful for a LOT of applications. The Paracord can be accessed whenever needed, and it will belay out on its own with a small modification (burning a small hole then adding an eyelet to the material to feed an end through). IDK, I learned it from older Rangers. Works with whatever carrier you have, might have to adapt the method slightly differently though.

In my entire time in the corps I never saw anyone do this. The last place I want to add weight is on my cover. If you want extra weight hanging off your head, wear the fuckin' helmet.
My entire time in the 82nd we never called it a helmet. Brain bucket, k pot, ect, ect. In fact they were specifically not named, or referred to as a helmet! I'm always amazed at how some POG always says that they never did this or that when they see how the Airborne guys roll out. Sounds like you and yer comment to me.
Terrific idea - one that I call "stupidly brilliant": "stupid", because it is so simple *I* should have thought about it, and "brilliant", well, because it is a great idea. If you make it long enough, can it be used as a load bearing rope (2x paracord strength of 550-lbs)?

Never knew what the name was. That's the best way to stow extension cords on the job, nice to see it works for Paracord storage too.
Good stuff. This looks way faster than unraveling a bracelet and a lot more paracord.
I've never heard the term, " chain senate." I've always called it a, "daisy chain." I've also never carried it this way. Interesting. Thanks.
chain Senate is tight daisy chain is loose and faster to make
The reason you put foliage in you boonie is to breakup your silhouette.

Blue Cord Soldier why the arrogant comment. So cause you didn’t see it it doesn’t exist. Simple minded people aren’t open to new ideas..
I mean different units and company’s and platoons do different shit all the time.

How long a piece of paracord do you start with?
