Im well impressed with that display Adam, I reckon a lot of others will be aswell at the show. Best wishes to Mrs Mancave, hope she feels better soon. 😊
I'm still wondering about that voltage. I remember back in the days that 24V bulbs were used in the garage (ford dealer), where my father worked, for safety reasons. never heard of 65V Great job. Like usual even if that belt still has a slight tendency to run-off, but that can be arranged easily, for sure.
The pulley wheels need to be ball or crown wheels to centralise the belt. I have a similar set up on my Smart and Brown lathe, the belt stays central all the time. turn or file down the outer the outer edges of at least one of the pulleys.
If you can get the pulley of the generator and your lathe is big enough to accept it, you could crown the pulley yourself. Might be an interesting little turning project.
Love the set up mate. Nice one!! Is there much going on mid October to mid November, rallies, jumbles, auctions etc? Also looking for army surplus places. Im coming over for a few weeks to see the family and want some things to do while I'm around!!
Your light set up is looking good Adam, best wishes to Mrs Mancave, get well soon. All the best to you both

I have made one light box and it keeps going bang and I have popped two of my bulbs, but do I need to put a voltage regulator on it
If you speed the engine up a bit the lights will be brighter and the flicker will reduce😎
Belts always walk towards the tightest side..a little bit of angle on your generator would centre that belt…
You have a lathe. Put a crown on the pully that you have , just a thought 👍
13 x 60 = 780 watts 780 watts divided 65 volts + 12 amps.
Turn down the Pulitzer on your lathe ??
I think you meant to say pulley, but spell check decided to have Adam decline a journalism award.😅
I agree with your suggestion, though.👍
Wanna sell it
