"I don't know where I am, but-" "I'll find you." "I promise." "No matter what." "I'll come back to you." "I won't give up." "I promise." "I promise." "I LOVE YOU!" WOW. Phenomenal writing.
yes, with the dead of Charlie and the scene when Juliet remembers... and probably others, I just cried so much for each scene when they remember. I think I used a whole pack of tissues for the 2 last episodes lol...
My personal favourite is Jack running away from The Others' settling only for Kate, Locke and Sayid to see Jack catching a football and continue playing with them
A first time watcher. I just watched the constant, and going into I knew it was one of the highest praised and rated episodes in all of TV, AND OMG IT DIDN"T DISSAPOINT
While I do enjoy masterfully-crafted bittersweet dramas like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, True Detective and The Wire (shows that brilliantly reflect the COLD, dark, cynicism in our world, offset with glimmers of optimism and justice) I've yet to encounter a show that's captured (and influenced) my inner HOPE quite like Lost. From a technical standpoint, I totally understand the show's criticisms.. But from a purely allegorical perspective, I have nothing but LOVE for this show. I have never been more moved or inspired by a show like I was with Lost. Even with all its flaws, this is the kind of Art that has the power to change lives.
+darkominem I totally hear you brotha! Lost revolutionized TV shows to whole new level and after Lost even TV dramas weren't the same. The people who stopped watching the show because it got too complicated or too stupid for them, it's their loss I suppose. and I loved the ending too. There is criticism out there and people are still furious about the unanswered questions but as one good man said, "Lost is not about the answers, it's about the questions."
Oh, for sure! And it remains totally watchable. I really think they could have chopped a good 3 or 4 entire seasons, but still a show that will be remembered
Whenever I need to go out of this real world, I just start watching the Lost. No series can match the level of emotional roller coaster of this show. This is a sanctuary for those who seeks for some peace. Locke, Ben, Hurley, Jack, Sawyer, Claire, Kate, Charlie,... Desmond & Penny, etc. You need nothing else.
I finished watching all 6 series of LOST for the first time a few days ago. This was one of my favourite episodes. I want to meet my Desmond and be his constant!! haha so beautiful! xxxxx
To be attached to every single character while having too much emotions for them. This is when you know what you are watching is PURE MAGIC. A MASTERPIECE ! Thank you LOST
I've been laying in bed watching various scenes from LOST for about an hour and the one thing that hit me was Giachinno's (sp?) score.... Each clip, the music is just amplifying what we are seeing perfectly. For me, he is up there with Hans Zimmer & John Williams in 'best composer ever' IMHO
The writing of this episode was so poetic. Throughout the episode he is trying to find his 'constant', and he is slowly succumbing to what happened to the others when they didn't have a constant. He lost recognition of Sayid, but in the end, the phone call reestablished Penny as his constant breaking the spell. It was touching to hear the call, but validated what he was looking for had been found, when he said, 'Thank you,...Sayid...it was enough', once again recognizing him
My heart beats faster, my eyes are wet... That is so amazingly beautiful. I wish I ever get the chance of falling in love the way the two of them did... Greatest couple on Lost.
This was amazing. It was so well put together and Desmond is my fav character. I found this to be almost an artpiece, the way they talked to each other in the phone.
First time rewatching LOST and man this episode remains as powerful an episode of TV you can ever watch. Man gets the hairs in your arms going. What acting by Sayid too. "Thank you Sayid.....It was enough" damn it gets the waterworks going even after all these years
Para mi la mejor escena de Perdidos, en preciosa no puedo parar de mirarla me emociona muchisimo. Que bonita historia de amor, me encanta la música que le pusieron.
I don't cry in happy moments especially romance and find myself skipping through cuz it can be cheesy and cringe in most shows and movies but I took every second in with this scene and cried heaps. This scene was so powerful and this show is just smth else.
Awesome! Absolutely brilliant. I have watching this scene so many times that now when I call & a woman's voice answers "hello?" my thought is to answer "Penny?" lol
That's made me consider re-watching Lost. It lurched towards a disappointing finale, but for the first three seasons it was an amazing ride. I've never known so many unexpected tangents and plot diversions. And that blank screen pause before the credits thumped on screen was always just long enough for me to think to myself "they can't end there!", which they always managed to do. Great show.
Being a major Lost fan and having recently ended a 5-year relationship, this scene now has a new meaning for me. It made me cry back in the day, now it still does but giving me hope.
i just finished this episode right now, all i can say is this is it, this is without a doubt the best couple i have ever seen on screen. They are so good that is beyond words for me, :')
I have never seen the show, I have heard other people talk about it, with out every seeing it, I got all tears and warm heartfrom this lile bit!! I have to get the DVD of the series
I love this scene... and i thing there is another message is hiden that, Sayid sacrified the chance to contact ourside, decided to give the phone to Desmond.. To complete his wish....I love it.
"I don't know where I am, but-"
"I'll find you."
"I promise."
"No matter what."
"I'll come back to you."
"I won't give up."
"I promise."
"I promise."
"I LOVE YOU!"
WOW. Phenomenal writing.
Yo?
Wow before 13 years .. old is gold
you answered penny !!
Best episode of Lost, hands down. Desmond was the best character and always had the craziest episodes based on him.
Definitely, I still want to see more Desmond and Time Travel
I agree .
The show should’ve legit just been about Desmond and time travel, the episodes that focused on him were the best in the series by far
It was that intro to season two with him being in the hatch that got me totally hooked to LOST.
could not agree more brothar
The constant, one of the best episodes of the show.
best episode of tv all time

Juliet - Sawyer my 2nd favorite.... 1st will always be this 😍😍
My brain exploded and my soul started cry on this scene
Dziadziabest mine too
As everyone that has followed the show. If anyone can't watch that and not cry, he's dead inside.
Dziadziabest f
Me too 😭
It wasn’t that bad.
Not only the best episode (The Constant) this is the best character of the show (Desmond fucking Hume)
Aye

Thanks brotha
Mr echo John locke Desmond Charlie penny
I wish I can find love like the way these two have, its so awesome to see
I believe the reason this scene evokes so much emotion is precisely because we all wish we had someone who loved us this much.
Same here. Sad never going to happen, unless I wake up at a secret island in the Pacific.
harris aziz d
You can find love like this on Tinder....if you lower your expectations by a million.
this love is beyond anything you will believe
Penny has the most beautiful voice on the planet
Trixmay 988 she s an amazing actress !Diverse, fluent in many accents ,and i believe one of the most beautiful and charming women ever
Top 3 best scenes ever on this show. WE HAVE TO GO BAAACK is probably my number 1.
"WE HAVE TO Go BACK" is Epic
Theresa falls up the stairs, Theresa falls down the stairs
yes, with the dead of Charlie and the scene when Juliet remembers... and probably others, I just cried so much for each scene when they remember. I think I used a whole pack of tissues for the 2 last episodes lol...
the first scene on lost that make me cry was jack and sawyer .... but this is different, and really good.
My personal favourite is Jack running away from The Others' settling only for Kate, Locke and Sayid to see Jack catching a football and continue playing with them
The way Desmond speaks is as if his heart will come out of his chest. So touching.
still cry everytime
I cried like a bitch and I'm not ashamed of it. Desmond and Penny forever ❤❤
every single time a see it, like a baby
Feel the same way :(
Broh Hugg!
By far one of the most underrated couples.
Every single episode of desmond was worth watching ...
This is the GREATEST clip of TV ever. How does this not have 2 million plus views??!?
Still my favourite show of all time.
One of the best TV moment ever. Period.

A first time watcher. I just watched the constant, and going into I knew it was one of the highest praised and rated episodes in all of TV, AND OMG IT DIDN"T DISSAPOINT
This episode sets a new standard in television history. Absolutely mesmerizing
I've seen alot of series, movies in my life, but this scene is so phenomenal and emotional, it's one of the best scene i've seen in my life.

You just put all my thoughts into words! cheers brotha

Oh, for sure! And it remains totally watchable. I really think they could have chopped a good 3 or 4 entire seasons, but still a show that will be remembered

Greatest show of all time
Indeed.

This episode.... This scene.... For me, one of the most impactful things on television!
as soon as Desmond says I love you I breakdown and cry every damn time.
my favorite scene, my favorite show 👏💙
Can we please have something similar epic again? TV shows kind of get boring once you got spoiled by LOST.
My favourite character and my favourite couple
I finished watching all 6 series of LOST for the first time a few days ago. This was one of my favourite episodes. I want to meet my Desmond and be his constant!! haha so beautiful! xxxxx
One of the best episodes of television of all time! My absolute favorite!
The violin playing is so haunting, but in a good way!
To be attached to every single character while having too much emotions for them. This is when you know what you are watching is PURE MAGIC. A MASTERPIECE !
Thank you LOST

I've watched this scene countless times, and yet it still brings tears to my eyes.
Greatest series ive ever seen. Never going to be topped.

Well said.
Thank you brotha
Everytime I lose hope on love, I come back here to watch the video. It has something magical
This was a beautiful scene. It’d be nice if true love like this existed in today’s world. I’m sure it does, but it’s just rare
This is the best moment of Lost. The moment Penny and Desmond is the reality of Lost. The Lost's essence.
best tv episode of any tv series of all times
I'm 29 and I watched hundreds of movies and TV shows. This makes me cry like a little girl every time i watch it. This and Mr. Nobody and Gladiator.
My heart beats faster, my eyes are wet... That is so amazingly beautiful. I wish I ever get the chance of falling in love the way the two of them did... Greatest couple on Lost.
10 years later, still amazing !!

This was amazing. It was so well put together and Desmond is my fav character. I found this to be almost an artpiece, the way they talked to each other in the phone.

Lost gets shit on a lot, but scenes like this and characters like Desmond are what made it truly amazing.
one of the best scenes I've seen
Most epic phone call ever.
This scene is the best among all of the drama 'lost'. I'm korean, so my English is not good. But I saw this again and again, and I memorized this...
Desmond and Penny = best couple ever.
