I love freeze drying my excess eggs!
wonderful! thank you so much for being apart of this collaboration =] I have 3 dozen eggs I need to put into my freeze dryer!
You are welcome! Thanks for the invite to join! 🌻🌻🌻🌻
Thank you very much for explaining how to FD the eggs and reconstitution, plus the Taste test.
Thanks for sharing
I wish I could afford one of those
FYI-just a tip I’ve learned from FD any food especially liquids-when my cycle shows complete (and I always keep my extra dry time set to 12 hrs just in case it finishes when I’m not home or during the night-doesn’t hurt food to extra dry and you can stop it at any time if extra is not needed). I take out trays and use bench knife or something similar to break up solid food. You never know when you might find a cold spot within the solid and if you set defrost before discovering one-too late to add extra dry time! I almost always put broken up food trays back in for a few extra hrs just to insure complete dryness. One little bit of moisture will spoil the batch! Eggs are one of my most used and stored items. Also a small jar makes a great gift for bakers to always have an emergency egg source when they run out of fresh ones!
Thank you for that tip! I checked these and they were all dry. I have made that mistake in the past and ruined a batch of milk I was freeze drying😅 That was also with my older machine. I haven’t had any issues so far with the harvest right not drying completely, aside from the time I didn’t knick or cut the blue berries😅
Thank you for doing this vidio and sharing your processes
Nice video ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching
Could you use dehydrator

Hello Susan, it’s a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer- Shop Harvest Right Freeze Dryers and Supplies affiliates.harvestright.com/2734.html Thanks for watching!! 🌻🌻🌻
That didn't look like you added freeze dried water😂
Did I say that and I didn’t catch the edit? 😅😂
@@RowesRising i listened twice to be sure i heard that. It tickled me! Have a great day!
@cherylb.9766 it’s funny how my brain just won’t hear or see some things in edits. I will watch it 2-4 times before posting and never catch my mistakes. I need a helper. 😅
I worked for a company that makes lyophilizers (freeze dryers) for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. We always tested machines with water. You'd be astonished by what is left behind after sublimating water. I used to joke about making freeze-dried water for hikers. It's lighter and easy to hike in. All you need to do is add water.
@473mec I’m not surprised at all! I’m curious what is left and the difference in city water and well water.
