Sometimes it's best to disconnect the pipe from the main hex first then out at the bottom on the vaillants as it can crack the main hex where the pipe pushes in
Fault finding is really interesting to me. Takes experience knowing what the problem could be just based on customers description or noise coming from the boiler. Are there any good resources which can help an apprentice out in fault finding?
There's plenty of resources out there but the best way to learn is to get stuck in and learn on the job. Majority of my experience came from working in social housing. I did courses, etc but it didn't fully make sense until I was working in it myself
Oh no, that could have been you first plate clean in situ. You had the vent pipe open and could have drawn some cleaner in. Maybe next time you’ll give it a go. 10 minutes max 👍
Yes mate this job was done before your previous suggestion, got a backlog of videos to upload! But yes I'm looking forward to trying that method out 👍🏾
How did you take out that canoe filter in one piece, every time i try i end up cracking it, what techniques or tool did you use to take the canoe filter out, did you check the red seals on the Worcester green star they comon on those there a safety bulitin every time you remove the case you need to check if it not leaking
Thank you for watching and please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏾
Dennis the menace 🤣. Great job Dennis.. he's a natural in front of the camera.

Great video mate, I can’t believe the canoe filter was pretty much clean but the flow pipe was choked up! 🤷🏽♂️😂 well done Dennis 🎉
Yeah man I was expecting to have to break the old one out!
Oooo ripples on the heat engine !!!!!
Yup been run dry in the past 🤦🏾♂️
S.53 on the Vaillant’s is a good indicator that there’s a restriction on the DHW side.
Good shout 👍🏾

After cleaning out the flow pipe and replacing the canoe, did you replace all the o rings? If not, that’s really lucky 😂
No I chanced it and it worked! 😅

Why do you replace the PHE rather than clean it out?
Customers choice - I always offer both options
That Worcester main HX had more ripples than the North Sea 😂 bet the HX seal/electrodes were toast
I thought the same but sweep test was fine, must have been changed previously
Whos the apprentice in the back ground?
I bet she was easy to find when playing hid n seek
😂
Worcester Horrible horrible boilers
Yeah they're not great 😅
