The Sensation is the most special and memorable Carnival ocean liner for me. Back in 1996, I went on my first Carnival cruise and she was the ship. In those days, the waterslide was pretty small and there was actually a designated topless deck. Through the years, lots of changes took place...
My first cruise ever was at age 19 on Carnival Sensation in 1995, she was about 2 years old. I sailed on her again in 2013 after she was updated. RIP GRAND LADY!
Wooo this ship, this video and this girl captures the spirit of the 80s and 90s. In that age this civilization reach his most hight point. Now is in free fall.
Yup. Absolute garbage now. They count your drinks and cut you off at 15 per "day" with or without the drink package. But they'll pre-sell you a bottle of Sky vodka for $100 to keep in your stateroom. Food is atrocious, and the only edible stuff like Guys Burgers and Taco Cantina places are only open a few hours in the middle of the day. Embark and debark is sheer hell... but not if you pay the "faster to the fun" fee. Staff are miserable. Depressing.
A few years back I remember seeing a similar video to this for the Ecstasy, it was a guy though, not Kathie Lee. The video has since disappeared from youtube, I am hoping it resurfaces soon
Ahh, memories:) Back in 1997 I had my honeymoon on the Sensation and it was awesome!! Back when all-inclusive actually meant something, lol. Sad to see it go, but I got divorced a year later so it's fitting, lol. I like RC better anyway:)
I remember these commercials in the 90s, back then I thought Carnival was a fancy cruise line. It was weird how by 2009 to present day Carnival earned a reputation as a "ghetto" or "Wal-Mart" cruise line with fat people in pajamas and crocs getting into fights.

This was when I started cruising. It was a very different time then. Carnival Fantasy was my cruise. I really miss it.

Will there be any more carnival videos?
Hoping to get my hands on some more in the near future. Thanks for watching!
I love watching these, a lot of the promotional speak is absolute cringe by today's standards. :-D
Lot's of cringe in these vids!
