- Herc's Adventures is a video game released for the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn by LucasArts in 1997. The overhead, action-adventure format is similar to Zombies Ate My Neighbors.[1][2] Up to two players each take on the role of one of three ancient Greek heroes: Herc (Hercules), Atlanta (Atalanta), or Jason, who are on a quest to defeat Hades and save the goddess of nature, Persephone.[3] In 2014, it was released for PSN in North America.
Herc's Adventures was originally announced as a Sega Saturn exclusive with a release date of December 1996,[3] but delays pushed its release back to July 1997. The PlayStation version was released internationally, while the Saturn version was exclusive to North America. Virgin Interactive had planned to release the Saturn version in Europe in September 1997, but it was dropped from the release schedule as part of Virgin's withdrawal of support for the Saturn.[4]

This game seemed impossibly huge to me as a kid. That it's beatable in 5 hours without speedrunning is hilarious to me. I think it took me like, 2 years to beat lmao. I played Atlanta. Amazing game.

I remember feeling lost in this huge game. It took me many many hours of gameplay to remember my way around. As a kid, It felt like one the biggest achievement in my life when I reached Hades. I did feel upset that they added aliens to the game because it ruined the mythology side of the story, especially when fighting Hades. Maybe because I was so impressed by the first Hercules on PS1, I could not see passed the aliens. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful game, great memories. Thank you for posting this!

I’m playing this now. You can get into the healing pool at 2:00:00 if you take a piggy potion. I couldn’t find the opening. So, I just took the potion and walked along the sides until I got in.

Hey does the voice actress for the Giant Amazon Lady go from the Cartoony Baritone-ish You’re Cute line 2:04:57, to a Sexually Sultry Gimme a Hug line with two fluctuating voice styles like that 2:04:50? Because looking back on this game now… I just wish there could’ve been a Behind the Scenes video to explain how the female voice actor switched voice style tones from the baritone laugh and you’re cute line to a cute and sexy gimme a hug line in such a confusing voice style switch in the first place, I wonder what.
