      Right! I'd almost move to his area just so he could be my vet. It'd be well worth it.
      I wonder how many of his patients' humans know he likes to blow stuff up and buy guns to shoot up everything in his off time 🤣

    I don't think everyone here knows how crazy this is...these are extremely difficult and time consuming surgeries that literally no one else would do for a homeless dog...this was extremely expensive everyone should feel comfortable donating knowing there money is going to a good place

      He makes money off of these videos, if he didn't he would not do this. Also it doesn't cost a vet a lot in material just a lot of time.

      JuicyLemon they make more money off donations I would say, with the nature of these videos (surgery + niche market) not many advertisers jump on board. this channel just allows them to help more dogs than they normally would be able to.

      It might have been a small amount, given the use of anaesthetic and pain medication. I am glad they didn't attempt the second surgery as Matt implied that the surgeon may have to re-break the leg and conduct another surgery. I believe the repair of the hip and the strengthening of the left leg through repair was necessary.

      My stupid Animated stories I feel you. My dog suzie died from rat poisoning on the 20th of march this year😭. It was the worst day of my life, she was struggling to breath and i couldnt do anything while she died in my arms on the way to the vet. After they told us she died, um,i cried for the next week😢. I kept telling my parents "why her,why did suzie have to go?!😭" I was broken up. I wouldn't go out of my room for the next 3 days because i had just lost my best friend😭😭. We did everything together.. from trying to surf,to fishing. I loved her... she is buried in our backyard so everyday at 4:35(the time she passed) i go out and pray, pray that she is happy, pray that oneday me and her will be reunited😢😭, forever. But now i have a puppy named leo, and he is an exact recreation of suzie! Sometimes I like to think that she couldnt let us go so she reincarnated to leo! 😢😭 its good to get that of my chest...

    This poor baby, he must’ve gone through such an awful disaster to be so broke apart. I’m so happy he survived an was brought to Vet Ranch. This is my favorite channel on UA-cam. I’m almost in tears, it beautiful what you did for this puppy and his life. I fully support this channel with all I can and I love you guys so much! In Puerto Rico there is a part of the island called “Dead Dog Island” where many stray homeless or new born puppies are left to die and starve and the hurricanes that just hit have probably wiped them out I can imagine what these poor animals go through, I wish there was more help out there like this but I’m thankful for you!

    Poor puppy. I used to have a dog (a black lab) named Yoda because of the pointy ears. He ran up the road, my dad drove up the road to find him when he jumped out in the road. My dad didn't have enough time to stop, and hit him. Yoda was bleeding out, tail broken, a artery was, uh like almost cut open. My brother ran up the road to help, held the artery shut while we got to the vet. They barely saved him. After that, he could barely move his tail. He also broke his left back leg in 3 places. Sadly, last summer, while we were sleeping he past away... I just thought I would share that and this video totally reminded me of Yoda.

      I forgot to add being a vet is pretty lucrative, if you are a qualified vet you can get a pretty good living without struggling at all financially. Vets are one of the most medically qualified people on this planet and as well as this they are very well respected for their profession. You may well think at your young age that learning stuff such as algebra is a waste of time but as you progress in your life you will realise that what you did at your age does in fact have a purpose. Good luck again.

    I lost my 10-year-old dachshund a little over a year ago. She looked like Elton. Sweet and black, little long-dog with brown eyebrows and paws and whatnot. She had cute whines and wiggled her tail, butt, and body like that too. Thank you for saving this dog. I’m always grateful for what Vet Ranch does, but this video hit a special spot for me. ❤️

    I had a dachshund who looked EXACTLY like Elton (coco) who ran under the tire of my families suburban at 5am (still dark) when my dad was feeding the horses. Broken pelvis, and leg just like this guy. Our vet was awesome and fixed him up. My dad felt so bad he never left his side until he could walk on his own again. He never used his back left leg the same he kept it kinda tucked up to his stomach but was just as full of life as Elton. Coco was 2 when that happened and he lived another 18 years.

    • @MissKnitwit
      @MissKnitwit 7 років тому +129

      Nicole Ramirez they're getting demonetized. Which means they can't get ad revenue because UA-cam has been getting very strict about the content that can be posted. So if they don't add the surgeries then they can make money from the video. Sadly we don't get to see the surgeries but at least they get money. Hope that helps!😊

    • @Blomrutger
      @Blomrutger 7 років тому +60

      Yes that is a problem but they had uncensored videos and censored videos so I don't think that is the cause in this case. Maybe the surgeon doesn't want to to get filmed during surgery

    • @VER1AMusic
      @VER1AMusic 7 років тому +53

      nah the surgeons usually dont mind the filming. dr. matt mentioned a few videos back that it was going to be a trial run of posting both the uncensored and censored version of the videos just because it is so much more work putting it all together. this video, it couldve been because the surgery was so long that it wasn't worth the effort to film and edit two different videos. either that or he got tired of dealing with two videos (from each clinic for each case) and gave up battling the adpocalypse. that would be my guess.

    I love watching all these puppies get a brand new life. I on the other hand wish and pray someone in south Florida can help me just like the pups here on vet ranch. My 9 yo cockapoo has a growth that is narrowing his rectum daily until he can no longer poo. I don’t have the money to take care of him and it breaks my heart. I too have cancer, but at least I can get treatment. No one will offer to do surgery for free. I don’t want to lose my pup. I got him before I was disabled and was working. Now my finances are limited and I have medical bills that need to get paid too. These bills are starting to mount up as I am in reoccurrence from ovarian cancer and placed back on chemo to add more unpaid bills to the mix. God bless.
