Oh my god....they are all amazing, can you believe their ages? I'm so impressed....for 31 years.as a team.
263 years between the four of them and they still sound epic!
They still rock.
It's the 90's and We are young again!
Im three again
In my twenties again
Early 20's whole life ahead of me, oh my misspent youth lol
Yay! I had hair back then.
@@CourtTV. see, that is young!
I remember buying this CD and how popular it was back in 1998.
2.0
1995
The Stone Age. Is Manson one of those prehistoric Picts?
I never really liked the band I got to admit 🤷🏼
Garbage and Placebo were both super popular with the Indie kids and I just couldn't stand them. But okay, you didn't have to please everyone back then, that was actually what made the independent thought in the 90s, wasn't it ? 😉
@@stefankaiser3354 I saw both Placebo and Garbage at the same festival here in Athens, Greece, a day apart, in 1999. They were brand new to me (especially Placebo, I didn't even know them), but both of them were so good.
What music did you like in the '90s?
Us old geezers rock forever!
I’ve been listening to Garbage for nearly 30 years! And they still sound incredible! 😂
This band is so bloody tight. They sound fantastic.
Butch Vig in the engine room will tend to have that effect.
Because it's pre programmed
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 really? Ya reckon?
@@tezzanewton Definitely.
Ain't no way the bass player is actually playing that bass
I was at TRNSMT last week and this sounded absolutely incredible. Really powerful. Sadly a lot of the crowd were really young and more interested in scrolling on their phones, not only during Garbage but pretty much the whole day. A lot of them just treated the bands on the stage as background music while they chatted to pals and messed about on their mobiles. Pretty weird to see but times change I suppose.
Not all of us are like that, I can assure you. I’m 25 and was lucky enough to see Garbage last night at Wembley Arena.
ugh, terrible.
So sad
Just the dude who produced Nevermind on drums... ❤Butch
Shirley's tartan look is absolutely brilliant! Love you guys!! Legends!!!!
Right. It knobs!
Can't believe it's been 30 years
30 years ago seems like the 70’s not the 90’s
And the crowd go mild! I bet majority of them weren't even born when this song came out. Great song!
@@PaulFMillen I remember when this album came out back around 97/98. I was a wee 19/20 year old lad myself at the time (I’m 46 now). This album was a huge hit in Canada back in the day. I remember the commercials saying “Everyone keeps saying Today’s best music is garbage… and they’re right!” 😂
@TransCanadaPhil I'd be 15 I think when it came out, I'm a Canadian myself but I was living in Scotland so it was big deal because of Shirley Manson.
@@PaulFMillen i can see the full concert is posted on BBC iPlayer along with the rest of the TRNSMIT festival. I’m going to watch some tonight! ✌️😊
@TransCanadaPhil how do you get iplayer in canada? Or shouldn't I ask lol!
I know when I was back home last time I had to rely on UA-cam for all things British as the players of all channels blocked over there.
I did have an android box for a while but my landlord was too cheap to get decent Internet ( we rented rooms) he also wouldn't put a separate router on our level it was hell.
@@PaulFMillen yes I use one of those VPN/DNS services (smartdnsproxy) to unlock it on my devices. you just punch some numbers into your router. It also unlocks all the channels and apps from places like Australia, New Zealand, and USA. Its worth it! like $20 a year.
that crowd has
NO HEARTBEAT.!
a total waste.!
i had the honour of seeing them, multiple times, at their peak.
the crowd was a glorious RUCKUS.!
☺️😊😃😆
✌🏻🇦🇺🌏🤘🏻
Vast majority of the crowd were teenagers..who probably haven't heard of Garbage..
The song is horrible. That might have something to do with it?
Saw Garbage in the late 90s in a small club. I have never seen a front person with more energy than Shirley Manson. It's burned into my brain.
Still sound amazing as original ..I was there..amazing
This is why I think garbage should be in the rock and roll hall of fame they are so good
Nice to hear Shirley's pipes are still intact. A lot of singers can't make that claim. Genetic lottery.
I love seeing a musician rock a Squier at a big gig. 👍
03:18
Why?
@@G8GT364CI because people often feel self conscious about having less prestigious brands, and seeing someone on a big stage with a budget brand strikes me as anti-materialistic, anti-pretentious, confident, & cool. She could choose any bass she wanted, and she's got a $300 Squier.
"musician"
@@G8GT364CIcos there's a snobbish pressure to be seen using a Fender instead of a Squier or Gibson instead of Epiphone, despite one being the budget version of the other.
Ive never been able to stretch to the top end models so I have a Squier Jazz and an Epiphone Thunderbird, and even a Warwick Rockbass is considered to be the "inferior" of a Warwick Corvette. With the latter, I can still get some evil tones from it, just like that lad Martinie from Mudvayne 😅
Inferior my ar53 😂😂
incredible performance 30 yrs later., thx garbage)
She looks so good! Such a fkng great song! ❤
She looks good. Well she sounds terrible. I don't know who she is but she's out Of tune. The song is terrible. Her singing is terrible and she needs a stylist and a makeup artist I live in the USA. This wouldn't be popular, 😂 Even 20 or 30 years ago. This would not have been popular
I have this album! And I love it!👌😎👍👉♥️Boy how time flies!
Me too. Love them!
Holy shitballs, Butch Vig on drums like drinking a cup of tea
This song has aged very well ❤
I got to see Garbage live in the late 90's in college and it was such a fun show! Shirley said "I'm having so much fun, my ponytail loosened." Legend.
Great to see Ginger Pooley playing with Garbage. SP/Garbage tour lets goooo
❤🎉
watching them on mtv when i was a kid..one of their song was soundtrack on leonardo di carpio movie... the title of the movie was romeo and Juliet
#1 Crush :)
Awesomeness …can’t believe I was working fitting a huge door whilst they were doing their rehearsals Friday afternoon….😮…Thanks for this video of my most special fav band of all time. Looking for the whole show..anyone ??
Love your Lou Reed pfp. He was a fave of mine.
BBC iPlayer has their full set!
@@TheFunkyKitten Thanks!
She's still doin' it!
Rob Halford killin it at guitar and keys
😂
Saw their first album live in Belgium back in 1995 , in a little hall in Brussels ! It was so so refreshing . happy they are still throwing those hits on stage in 2024 !
Oh, what an amazing band. Around 30 years of solid music and live shows ❤❤❤
I'm suddenly transported to the back seat of my Dad's Mondeo Mk1 in the mid 1990's.
Man, seeing Butch Vig on those drums is awesome !
If you come back to Argentina, the crowd will actually react to this amazing band and sound 🙏🏻
So pumped Garbage came to my hometwon this month and wre so amazing,a great night, this is still my all time favourite song by Garbage and it still sounds so good live and as a song. (matt)
Shirley looks & sounds great. Thank you Garbage for the music, it's made my life so much better.
Grunge 4 Life
Seeing Garbage live tomoro night at the usher hall. I cant wait.
How was the show?
@@stargazer4625 amazing. so glad i saw them again. And the bonus is they are returning later in the year it seems along with album number 8! Also the warm up band Lucia and the best men were really good too.
Ginger Pooley looking stunning. What a fantastic band and sound. I remember having their first album on repeat, not a bad track on it.
Really special and they always were. I love what they do musically; and the darkness in the lyrics always hits home for me.
Still a legendary song , strong performance👍👍💪
I still listen to them constantly, one of my life bands, i would be going nuts if i saw them, i just don't get people now
Incredible 🎉sounds awesome she looks awesome too
I remember them from day one...Sweet memories...
If you’re watching this and thinking it’s good, go and see them live for your own ears.
I saw them live in Bridlington (UK) last night…..it’s something else altogether. They’re incredible! Shirley is a force of nature!
Great stuff can’t wait for Wembley on Saturday!
Plus I think Shirley and the boys deserve it they are so good
I remember having all their cds back in the days. Absolutely made my teen years, rock n roll ❤
Love the 90s
i remember i had a massive crush on the vocalist in the 90s
Loved garbage!!! Different generation 😊
One of my best concerts ever was Garbage at Roskilde 2002.
Butch's solid drumming as good as ever... love the synth snare too
Love her tartan dress ❤ great performance
Amazing-love this!!!
This Tartan dress is absolutely very Vivienne Westwood and I LOVE IT!
Qué estilazo sigue teniendo Shirley, y qué bien suenan los 4.
After all this time, Shirley still makes my heart skip a beat.
One of my all time fav tracks
wow, they are really awesome, rocked it alright!!!
💌
What. A. Tune!!!!
Best thing I have heard today. :-)
Awesome!! Sound fantastic.
Tendría mis 7 años por esos tiempos en los 90's, pero esta música sí que la escuchaba frecuentemente por la radio... 👍
Garbage is Solid.. Love this song.. I play my bass to it.
Phenom singer she is
Outstanding
Yeah!!
oh YES!😍💗💜💙
Yes this sounds amazing!
Despite what you see 57 seconds in the couple got the lyrics right. I'm sure they didn't give a damn they are there and that's what counts.
Shirley Manson is gracefully embracing her age. That's why she still looks amazing.
"Gracefully embracing her age"? - really? - where are you from? Pollock?
@@christopherdalziel9595 u need to be off the meds dude .....cognitive dissonance due to jabs me thinks
@BlueHopi144 By cognitive dissonance, I presume you mean having 50-50 vision, and besides, I'm not into the GILF niche you are clearly so besotted with. BTW you are misusing that overpopularized term.
FABULOUS.
Band has more energy than the crowd and they are 40 years older 🤣😂😆
The crowd is bored because this song is freeking boring. Pretty simple.
Go on Shirley...sock it too them!. Sounding powerful as always!.
Loved it!!!
Fantastici
Garbage was always a teenage favourite 🎉
Dosnt matter how old someone Is .attraction is attraction 😊
What
EPICCCCC SONG!!!
Alta banda !!!
Garbage was the first concert I went to💕🍒
Love the voice.
i am an avid fan of garbage...since my college days yeah!
Awesome 👊 👌 the crowd are on downers ✌️🤘🏴🇦🇺
That was great
Imagine having 90s artists as your grandmas and grandpas. How very cool :)
❤they were always good
Stunning
Rocking the tartan shirley. Still got it.
great band love it cool stuff
Shirley's old enough to be my grandma, but I STILL WOULD.
@@Hero_Of_Old apparently takes it up the gary glitter.
I used to go out with a girl who looked just like Shirley in the late 90s and she was a really dirty girl and she took it up the gary 😂!!.
@Hero_Of_Old yup believe me she'd eat you alive. Fearsome Woman
100%😂
@@grant72 I know hahaha
❤❤❤
Love them
the band looks and sounds amazing
They sound GREAT !!! What a sound mix too!!

I Love Scotland!!
I had a crush as a little boy on shirley when push it came out.
