Un-frikken-real the difference this has made in my images. Went to the link, used your promo code, got the discount... Man.. this has brought life to some of my images that were just kinda blah.. Thanks a bunch man.
Awesome. On some photos the difference is dramatic!
Loved the outro Toby 🐻
Thanks dude - sometimes I wonder if anyone sticks around long enough to watch :)
Thanks so much, Toby! I've been a Topaz user for years and heading over for this cool update! Appreciate the tutorial, great tips, and discount link. Have a fantastic day! 🐦-Jody Lynn
Glad to help!
Thanks for cranking this video out, Toby! Very interested in this one stop shopping for Topaz, think it will be especially useful in batch processing images with different issues!
You are very welcome!
Great Video Toby....Thank you
You are very welcome Steven.
Already a Topaz user, but this is very interesting.
Love the tip about using photoshop to separate the bird from the background.
Watching this on my lunch break, can't wait to go home and try it.
Thanks for taking the time to share this.
Have a pleasant and safe trip.
Paul,. Nice. Glad you found that helpful. I find that I like that additional flexibility provided by selections and layers in Photoshop.
Great vid! Those are fantastic tips, and thanks for being upfront about the affiliate link too. Have a great trip!
(Just bought it via your link!)
Much Appreciated!
I have been trying out the latest trial version of Photo AI and I just cannot get it to do any better than DXO Photolab 6 in terms of denoising and sharpening of raw images from Lumix S5II. No matter what Photo AI delivers, DXO PL6 just produces a sharper cleaner output from the same raw.
Toby - thx for the video. Did u know about applying Topaz from the raw file rather than a tif. You can initiate with LRC from FILE>PLUG IN Extra's>PROCESS WITH TOPAZ PHOTO AI. My early indications are I'm getting better results
Ken, I haven't tried that way, I just did drag and drop from the folder for original raw. I had not compared but certainly will. Thanks for the heads up.
I was super excited when this came out. What is like to know is did yours mask and AI “the same” every time you opened it? I opened a bird photo and it was magic! The next time I opened the exact same file it masked a much bigger area and applied different settings?!?
Hey Scott - sorry I missed this comment. I had not experienced that so I just tried on a few photos to see if I could replicate this and each time the image opens the subject remains the same. Now since your comment there have been a handful of updates so maybe its better for you too?
This looks amazing. Now just to convince the wife that I need to spend some money.
There are a few spouses out there that don't care for my videos for this very reason :)
I would be interested to see how it handles landscapes. I love topaz denoise, but topaz sharpen\gigapixel ai introduce visible artefacts
If used carefully I havent seen any issues with sharpening landscape pics and do use it. I often selectively sharpen. I have only used Gigapixel a few times mostly to compare it against Lightroom's enhance and I find gigapixel better but it's not perfect and can certainly introduce some artifacts.
What device is attached to the back of your laptop?
That is just my SSD that holds my lightroom catalog and photos. It is in this little amazon pocket that I LOVE! amzn.to/3eRQqPP
You might want to check your facts. I own Topaz Sharpen AI, DeNoise AI, Gigapixel AI. When I clicked on the link in your video to get my "free" Photo AI, the link took me to my account at Topaz where the cost for Photo AI was in fact a whopping $272.08.
Must be something on your end. I went through the link, input his promo code at checkout, and got the exact discount he showed. I never owned Topaz so likely something with regards to your end. Not his.
Hi Barbara. Well that's strange especially since the price you quote is even more expensive than the full price of the product as I showed in the screenshots. Clearly something is not working right. Did you double check that you are signed into your topaz account?
A friend just pointed out that you are probably not current with the existing subscription so topaz wants to charge you the 99 for updating those plus the cost of photo AI. I should add a note that you do need to be a current subscription holder of all three apps to get the new software for free.
I found that its better to sharpen in Photoshop after. Only let it denoice in Photo AI or upscale.
Really? I have not had that experience. The sharpening options in Topaz seem better to me than what is provided in Photoshop.
@@photorectoby I usually get some weird artifacts in animal fur/feathers when trying to sharpen in Topaz.
@@Granfoss I certainly see artifcats if I push the sharpening too far but with careful observation and a gentle hand on the slider I find that it does a really good job. That's just my experience.
@@photorectoby I love a gentle hand on my slider… 🤣 I know what you mean. But they keep improving it witch is good.
Power editing????
Yes -Said with a metal guitar playing in the background ;)
