Excellent sound track! I loved the "synthetic" in the title. Previous recordings of the TNG ambient engine noise were organically recorded in the actual engine room of the actual spaceship.
Star Trek adapted every day noises into their shows. Like the elevator door noise was a tennis shoe on a gym floor. This noise heard in the background on the Enterprise is the pax system on a DC10-30 airliner
Uh, do you really need to point out that it's SYNTHETIC engine noise? Is there a soundtrack somewhere of AUTHENTIC engine noise from the Enterprise? If so, I want to know about it! :)
OMG, Thank you, +crysknife007 for including that command line! It's just exactly what I needed. It's also darn clever. On a different note, have you thought about making one of these videos for the Caterpillar drive sound from The Hunt for Red October?
You're welcome, that command line is awfully fun. Pretty easy to modify it too if you want to change it around a little. That is great idea about the caterpillar drive! I do have one for a submarine but we could always use more variety: ua-cam.com/video/F0gdVen8M8Q/v-deo.html
Its a good noise but I don’t understand why it’s Star Trek as opposed to just ambient noise that maybe kind sounds like Star Trek? That being said its quite calming so no disrespect to the work.
i have to believe this is similar to what we all heard in the womb. so calming
Just used it to settle my newborn. My wife just stared. Said ok you can stay. Lol
Insane how this can be so calming
This is the best sleep white noise ever conceived
More like brown noise than white noise.
@@simonprestona true connoisseur of brown noises
Thank you! This is my sleeping aid! It blocks out dogs barking and other intrusive sounds.... ❤❤❤
Synthetic scotch, synthetic commanders, synthetic engine noise.
It is....... "sniffs" It is green.
Took me a second to get that reference.

This is definitely my favorite one out of the spaceship sounds...it puts me out quickly.
I watch startrek tng every night and it puts me out so quick I'm guessing this is why
I was kinda shocked to find out I wasn’t the only one who uses this to sleep
How to make engine noises. Step one. Record your dishwasher. Step two. Play it back at a fraction of the speed.
Star Trek adapted every day noises into their shows. Like the elevator door noise was a tennis shoe on a gym floor. This noise heard in the background on the Enterprise is the pax system on a DC10-30 airliner
This is definitely a good thing!
Sorry, but I only do natural, organic, GMO-free Star Trek TNG engine noise
I had horrible dreams that the Borg was trying to have me assimilated!😂🙄
10:35:07 oh no the ship disappeare-oh it’s back nvm we’re good
Uh, do you really need to point out that it's SYNTHETIC engine noise? Is there a soundtrack somewhere of AUTHENTIC engine noise from the Enterprise? If so, I want to know about it! :)
The counterpart to SYNthetic noise would be ACKthetic noise ;)
@@du42bz I dropped frame #42069, can you resend?
He made that sound. It's not taken from the show. That's what that means.

Helps me sleep
Oh, that is a peaceful number.
Two times speed or normal speed it sounds the same? That is strange
I concur, that is very strange.
Synth Trek: The Next Generation
I saw the title and said "meh"
I read the description and said "O____O"
this + xanax
10:35:08 where'd the ship go?
Cloaking device
Anyway you can remake the ambiant noise of the ship Moya from Farscape?
It's in their playlist, at least halfway or further away down the list.
dat bass doe
Think you should have used a D'Deridex image. I know, wrong ship for the sound. But it was more green.
The sound that’s played on the ship in an alternate reality where everyone is a android accept data
This + Zolpidem

So we can pretend we’re on the Enterprise as we go to sleep.
because its based on a sound from star trek
Sweet!
