Hello! I like your content a lot! I am hesitating to buy Aeroad CF SLX Di2 or Ultimate CF SLX 8, have you had problems with a peculiar noise that some Aeroads have in the seat post? Have you had any problems today? Thank you very much in advance and sorry for my English.
Hi mate, your English is great 👍🏼 the new generation of Aeroad has no seat post problems. But as with any bike, the seat post should be greased and tightened to the correct torque. I think the Aeroad is better for my style of riding, but the Ultimate is probably more versatile. Thanks for watching my videos and I’m glad you like the content!

thanks a lot mate! i'd say crosswinds can be sketchy on any wheel depth at speed, but in gusty conditions you can experience a kick or two. the bike is really well balanced so it hasnt been a huge issue for me (yet).

thanks mate! I use the gopro chest harness, called "chesty". really comfortable and easy to use.
thinking of swapping my cassettes from 10/30 to 10/36 with this bike for better climbing experience. what do you think? would it be too big for an aero frame?
Hey mate, as long as you can get it on the bike, there is no ‘wrong’ gear ratio. I definitely sometimes think I could do with a couple easier gears 🤣 do what suits you

Great video and she’s a beautiful bike. I’ve got the Ultimate with what appears to be the same through-bolt for fixing the front wheel on. You may know already but the lever is removable so it can be used on either wheel. Should be ok whilst riding but perhaps a small chance that is detaches on a bumpy UK road 😊
Mate that’s actually a great help. I did try and take it off once with some force, but it didn’t seem to budge. I’ll give it another crack, thanks 👍🏼

For around the £5k mark it's gotta be the best bike, for an equivalent Specialized you're looking at £8k and the Aeroad just looks awesome
You are so right. Specialized, Factor, Cervelo and Trek are all grossly over-priced for what they are. Canyon family forever 🫱🏼🫲🏽
This might be a silly question, but how do you take your bike around the world? I plan on visiting different countries with my bike but i wouldnt have a clue how to take it with me, thanks, great video again!
hey mate, not a silly question at all. invest in a solid bike box and add it to the flight as an extra hold luggage. for most airlines this should be around £50, it just goes in a different bit as "over sized luggage" with other sports equipment. whatever you do DONT post it to england from a different country as they'll charge you mega import duty! i got stung £2k sending it to england from australia.

@@JoshSRugbyPlayer no mate it’s all factored into the price 🙂 there shipping is about £100-£200 including the box (which is reusable). It’s just when you ship stuff yourself I think like I did.

What camera are you using, and how do you get the battery to last more than an hour?
6am gang 🫡 I use the GoPro Hero 11 mini. I only press record when I think I have an opportunity for interesting footage, this was a 2hr ride and when I got home the GoPro was on 1%! Battery life is a bit rubbish if you ask me, hopefully GoPro can do better in the future.

@benridingbikes Insta 360 have just released the X4. Bigger battery (and removeable), but £500 is a lot to drop on a camera!

What Front and Rear light do you have?
i use Leyzne lights mate, the front light is the 500 lumen one with the go pro mount

I think it should be mandatory for these bikes to have DRL at the front. They are extremely fast and their slick design makes them literally invisible.
I actually run a DRL front and rear every ride. However, the bike may have a “slick design” but the rider doesn’t. I would urge you to maintain full concentration when driving, and respect all other road users (motorbikes, tractors, cyclists, horses, etc) thank you and drive safe!
