Canyon Aeroad CF SLX Di2 - Café Ride
Переглядів 27 тис.Рік тому
Taking my new Canyon Aeroad on a 2 hour spin on a sunny arvo in Perth, Australia. Stopping at 2 Stroke coffee bar.
Awesome dude! I ride much more common Jamis Renegade s3 (steel and quite heavy gravel bike) but the reason is there is almost no sleek roads here in Siberia. Subcribed anyway) Keep doing videos!
@@mixat86 the Renegade will never fail you my friend 🫡 thank you mate! I will try to come out with more videos
Buys super expensive fast road bike. Complains about riding in a city. So stupid
Nothing to hate if you can easily breeze through it...🤷🏽♂️
That’s what I call a city and I avoid: living there, visiting it more than once a week and especially cycling in it on a roadbike.
Biker without any rules? I hate😊
Yes... I live in Milan, every time I go for a ride its like: 12kmh.................out city 40kmh....entering in city, red light... Red light... Red light...red light.... Red light...
Curious what you’re mounting the camera to? You’ve got a great angle there I can’t seem to figure out
Would you say the the canyon CD Slx 7 di2 would be a good first endurance bike for a beginner? And is the carbon fiber strong enough or should I go with aluminium?
@@withintheroots. the endurace is a great bike for beginners 👌🏼 the carbon is extremely strong and light, but weight savings and stiffness might not be a priority depending on the type of riding you’re doing
Most likely just for the road exactly for what you’re using it in this video. Thank you!
class vids, should transfer these to other social media platforms 👌
@@chidiwidi4148 let’s do it 🫱🏼🫲🏽
What..i dont see anything on pointa and hard
If this was in America I'd just go on the sidewalk and skip all that but idk what the laws are wherever this is
We have bike lanes in Netherlands. Everywere. No problem. Bikes and cars are separated. And the Nederland is also a small country, and bike lanes are possible. Its the un willing of government that they not install this. America is big enough and have no bike lanes.
I never filter next to the curb!
I hate roadies who give bad name to bikers....
@@jorgesantos8509 🤣🤣🤣🤣
love the bike bro
@@axelpeeters6219 thanks brother 🙏🏼
I hate it but I don't cry about it
You're lucky. No busses leading to pedestrians just stepping out.
and so lucky a meteorite didnt fall from space and obliterate the entire city
looks like city riding to me? as long as you don't get doored.
doored hahaha, hopefully not
pretty normal for me especially in my country
What Front and Rear light do you have?
i use Leyzne lights mate, the front light is the 500 lumen one with the go pro mount
I hate those integrated stemdlebars also, man. Feels bad, man.
im sorry you feel that way mannnn but integration is key for a succesful and abundant society
What colour is it
this colourway is called "pale green"
You are not hanging onto your life do you? I'm a biker myself but meandering around cars in traffic especially between trucks and busses is just stupid AF! They can't see you there...
They’re all stationary 😂
@@timmayers4965 then go on like that 👍🏻
Which city is this? I am saving up for a new road bike but I am not a fan of disc brakes, do you think rim brakes are okay in 2024?
This is Perth in Australia 🇦🇺 Rim brakes are great, your dog that never dies 💪🏼
I think it should be mandatory for these bikes to have DRL at the front. They are extremely fast and their slick design makes them literally invisible.
I actually run a DRL front and rear every ride. However, the bike may have a “slick design” but the rider doesn’t. I would urge you to maintain full concentration when driving, and respect all other road users (motorbikes, tractors, cyclists, horses, etc) thank you and drive safe!
I've stopped riding between traffic lanes in France. It's to dangerous and people in cars get mad at you.
You’re allowed to do it. Who cares if people shout? They’re mad because they can’t move and we can 🤣 ride safe my friend
@@benridingbikesBut if one of those vehicles with huge blind spots, like the bus or that truck starts easing over to the left or right while you're alongside them, it could get ugly for you.
@@CanItAlready hard to change lanes at a red light mate, it’s allllll safe here
@@benridingbikes Not as hard as you might think. I've seen people do all kinds of weird things, even waiting at a red light.
The government
That's common thing happen in Jakarta. 😂
🤣🤣
Amazing new bike! Gotta be careful here in British roads 😅
Thanks man! Yeah it can be hard riding these roads, but I still love it!
man wait till you experience cycling in traffic here in the Philippines. u might get an heart attack 😅
Hahah noooo it’s too hectic!
Those integrated bars are awesome.
They’re just stock canyon bars 👌🏼
What bike do you recommend for a beginner with low budget?
Don’t buy brand new. There are some good used bike dealers online, you can get great value for money! As a beginner I’d buy any aluminum frame with Shimano 105 groupset :)
YOU are the reason people hate cyclists.
🥞
Roadies? Yeh I hate them
Ooooookay cool dude!
I ordered the Aeroad CF SLX 8 Disc Di2. Can anybody tell me if the Shimano CN-M8100 12s chain comes with a chain lock or quick link? :)
It’s got a quick link mate :)
@@benridingbikes thank you! :)
thinking of swapping my cassettes from 10/30 to 10/36 with this bike for better climbing experience. what do you think? would it be too big for an aero frame?
Hey mate, as long as you can get it on the bike, there is no ‘wrong’ gear ratio. I definitely sometimes think I could do with a couple easier gears 🤣 do what suits you
For around the £5k mark it's gotta be the best bike, for an equivalent Specialized you're looking at £8k and the Aeroad just looks awesome
You are so right. Specialized, Factor, Cervelo and Trek are all grossly over-priced for what they are. Canyon family forever 🫱🏼🫲🏽
I love it 😍
Thanks man!
Hates what? Aero bikes being soft pedaled in gridlock?
Exactly this brother, except with my aero advantage I for sure saved at least half a second
great video to watch, love the cockpitview
Thanks for watching my friend ❤️
I love to ride in traffic jam sometimes, a lot of fun
my favourite!
Me too !
Riding in the city without a headlight? Yeah I hate it too.
but its not dark :/
It’s broad daylight 😂. Change the brightness on your phone
Hates what, road bikers and how they mess up traffic and take up the road, yeah I fkn hate them
You better be patient cause they're not going anywhere
I see nothing to hate in this short
Bravo
I love road biking, but I hate traffic. The good thing is I live on the outskirts of a city. The closest out-of-the-city areas happen to be the best cycling areas, Moravian Karst, so I'm happy.
Yes always best to avoid city areas for the best riding 😎
Tolles Video, nur Wind und Freilauf Geräusche Gerne mehr davon 👍
thank you my friend! more to come i hope soon
This might be a silly question, but how do you take your bike around the world? I plan on visiting different countries with my bike but i wouldnt have a clue how to take it with me, thanks, great video again!
hey mate, not a silly question at all. invest in a solid bike box and add it to the flight as an extra hold luggage. for most airlines this should be around £50, it just goes in a different bit as "over sized luggage" with other sports equipment. whatever you do DONT post it to england from a different country as they'll charge you mega import duty! i got stung £2k sending it to england from australia.
@@benridingbikesthanks for the reply! Massive help, i have always wanted to get a canyon bike, i live in the uk, will i have to pay any huge fees to purchase one and have it delivered to the uk?
@@JoshSRugbyPlayer no mate it’s all factored into the price 🙂 there shipping is about £100-£200 including the box (which is reusable). It’s just when you ship stuff yourself I think like I did.
@@benridingbikes thanks a bunch buddy!
I wouldn't say I like these kinds of riding as a cycling enthusiast.
Me too 😤
