But this song is something I am not even close to put together. Could probably learn to play it, but that’s not the point. The point is that you Evert are an amazing guitarist and song/melody writer. This is one of the best songs I have ever come across.

I've heard of Duesenberg, but until now, I've never heard one and man, what beautiful tones! So, I liked, and subscribed because I've gotta hear more of what you have to say musically!
Sounds like some serious Mark Knopfler vibe going on here! I've watched almost all your videos and I'm blown away with your musicality. You're able to create some wonderful melodies without it sounding too expected and use such a great variety of techniques. Keep up the amazing work!

The tone of that guitar is fricken unbelievable. Especially the those high notes leads... that tone is so syrupy and tubey, such a perfect sound. The composition is also outstanding. As somebody mentioned there were some Mark Knopfler moments, but you obviously have your own style, and this is some of the best stuff I have heard lately anywhere. By the way, you are not helping with my GAS.
@@hansroemerszoonvanderbrikk7626 No they dont make the 3 pickup version anymore. I desperately wanted to order one. They said that the finishing is too difficult on cavity edges -go figure!.... Kiesel, Ibanez, esp and countless others does this with impunity 24/7. I lost all respect for Duesenberg after that pathetic excuse.
I'm probably the luckiest man in the world. the headstock snapped from the neck of my SG after a flight in Germany. I claimed it on insurance as unrepairable (I later had it repaired at a guitar maker's shop) and I bought one of these original Caribous from a music store with that. So now I have 2 beautiful guitars.
@@bobbyarthur-yf3yf No ... New versions have different pickups (go look and see if you can find the original 3-pickup version) and they say they will never make the 3-singles version again. I contacted them. They told me that it is too difficult to spray the pickup cavities for the single coils !!?. Go figure.. about EVERY other manufacturer out there do not have trouble spraying a body without pickup rings. Are they beginners? I tried to offer them extra money to make me one. Not interested. I lost my respect for Duesenberg right there and wont consider them anymore. Apparently they received too much trouble trying their hand at ringless bodies and discontinued it permanently. Hell, I may ask Danelectro to show them how to do it. Evert's video is probably their best marketing tool for the Caribou. They trashed all that opportunity by not willing to learn how to spray ringless bodies. I find that pathetic.
This is excellent playing, wonderfull sound and a realy nice piece of music. Reminds me of Mike Oldfield meets John Mayer. Who needs shredding? Melody matters!
