    Oh My God! As Duesey player & fanboy this is almost too much to take in ... The brilliant sounds of Evert and then the even more brilliant sounds these amazing guitars. And - a guy cannot have enough atmospheric (loop) pedals - now can he?

    This was just so well done and I really want all of the guitars now 😅 The Duesenberg Starplayer is my long time favourite and the one that I love and will buy the minute I can afford it. But you made all three sound great.

    I'm a big fan of through-body stringing on a solid body with Schaller roller bridges. I've built a solid body based on the Doozy Bonneville using Dusey hardware and electronics from Rockinger in Germany. I get really nice tones with the setup through a Laney 30W (Russian) valve amp and a LIne 6 Floorpod effects pedal. I think the sound is enhanced by through body stringing which is very evident without effects. Compared to my Gibson LP Studio it's like comparing skim milk and full cream milk. The sounds achieved through the recording of the 3 Doozys in the video are awesome (and well played).

    Are Duesenbergs made in Korea? Going to buy one but that info put me down a bit..... Where can I getmore info about that?

    • @zwidawurzn9423
      @zwidawurzn9423 2 роки тому

      It's kinda hard to get solid info on that topic but as far as i know Duesenberg order the parts from all over the world to put them together in Germany. For instance rough milling of body shapes was never really done by Duesenberg in house, they wanted to get rid of the dust and gave the job to a furniture manufacturer in Germany or someone else who had the necessary CNC machines. So they get parts from countries like Germany, Korea, Japan, Italy or USA as far as i heard. Then the QC, assembly, fretting and setup is done by Duesenberg themselves in Germany, they have around 30 workers in their Duesenberg factory in Hannover. So it's not an all Korean made guitar, even if some people keep saying that.
      Another point is: i have a Gretsch Electromatic "Made in Korea" and it's better than some of the USA Gibsons my local shop offers for more than double the price of my Gretsch. But my Duesenberg Caribou is clearly better than my Gretsch, with high quality parts, very solid construction and great setup.

      You will never get the answer to the country of production of guitar bodys and necks - they have kept it a secret for 20+ years and if became general knowledge that all the guitars are made at the Mirr Music Factory in Korea they will have problems selling their guitars at those high prices.
      The used prices tell a clear story though, you buy expensive because they look great but have to sell cheap because people know

    I will buy all three provided master of looping Evert Zeevalkink comes with the guitars. Otherwise they'll be three GREAT guitars in a pair of very mediocre hands.
