@@monoespacial nah thank you ! I’ve been playing Hell Let Loose on console for over 2 years now. I jumped into the commander role early on because it seemed no one else wanted to play the role and if they did, it was terrible. I watched your videos for advice and tips to play the role. Hate to brag but I’m one of the best commanders out there now, I win at least 75% of my matches and score 20/30 thousand points consistently. Getting anywhere between 50 and 100 kills sometimes without firing a single bullet (and I never use artillery) And really all the praise goes to you and your vid’s man. You helped me formulate a solid strategy early on that has only been refined with time and experience. I try to share the knowledge as much as I can and spread the word that MonoEspecial is the Hell Let Loose guru !!
I notice as an Xbox player that since the game hit gamepass there’s been an influx of players that don’t communicate at all. This game mode seems to not have that problem, lots of communication and chatter which is nice. It’s a great game mode for what it is, nowhere near as elite as the other modes but perfect way to get a quick game in
I played one match of skirmish and IMMEDIATELY felt like I was on a COD lobby. Thankfully you can toggle text chat, but it was full of toxis trash talk and statements about whos mom had a dusty this and that, etc, etc. I hope it isnt something that comes with this game mode. One game is not even a good sample, but it doesnt stop me from thinking, i may not enjoy this. 😅

I dont registred theres anything new by playing this mode for few days esch day few hours. I still dont know after 300hours in this game how to tale pr loose a point
On console, it feels like being dropped into the last 30 min of a match! Games are swung by your tanks and recon squads but they still feel balanced. I hope some type of artillery makes its way into the game mode to give new players that quintessential HLL experience. I doubt this changes much for PC players but this is great for console!
Will Skirmish mode turn HLL into COD, no it won't. Will Skirmish mode consolidate all HLL players who used to play it like COD, yes, yes it has. Everyone who didn't want to communicate or work with the squad has now moved to Skirmish mode exclusively. Console experience so far: Zero mics, zero comms, zero outposts, 100% Rambo wannabes.
I really struggle to see enemies on Driel & El Alamein (British uniforms blend in with greenery, and both factions desert uniforms are hard to spot in rock shadows). I would’ve preferred Foy & Kharkov to be released as well
Played yesterday, and stumbled into skirmish on Driel, which was perfect as I did not want to stay for the whole game anyway. Ran armor, and I have to say, even that was fun with much faster action, destroying german tanks and avoiding waves of AT players. Respect to new devs for taking the step back and considering the new additions and changes carefully.
Skirmish is really fun when a server dies out at the midnight. It's also good to learn the game. Really fun for tank battles, the brittish medium on El Alamein is really OP compared to the Panzer 4.
I prefer having fun too. However all the maps need a major overhaul! More details, more burnt up blown up battle affected areas. More sound effects, more trenches, bunkers, foxholes, tunnels, ect.
@monoespacial yea I know but seems like poor balancing that the British tank can get up on the tracks and fire down while the germans are forced to cross the river because hq is pushed up so far.

Call me crazy but I like building garrisons, I like making a game winning spawn point and then pointing this fact out to the rest of the team. Never fails to annoy people.
I enjoy that too. Love squad leading, but sometimes, I want to not try hard 100% of the time, and I feel bad doing that in a "full match". Playing skirmish feels lower stakes in general.
Haven’t had a chance to play yet, but I have a big question. On driel, did they replace the Sherman firefly or did they just add the Churchhill meaning They have 2 heavy tanks?
@@trevorfrench7172 I think they need to take away the heavy side arm and just keep the front armor. Increase the speed to that of a panther. it would still be slightly worse, but would give the allies a better chance.
I don’t like skirmish mode. You said it Mono it’s a reduced experience. I love HLL. And adding a game mode with less is the opposite of what I want from HLL. I don’t want less I want more! New maps. Larger maps. Not smaller. I understand not everyone has the time for long matches. I don’t a lot of the time. So I just play something else. Or don’t play. That’s life. I think the devs should spend more time expanding the core game. Not wasting our time with things like skirmish. How about making it so we can enter more buildings? Fixing bipod. And select fire guns. Sorry for the rant. Great video Mono.
Oh cool a new HLL update.... followed by tarnished servers full with horrible players and cross platform players. I think id prefer HLL when team17 first took over!! Game is horrible man. Hopefully this twists things around, considering no one wants to PLAY HLL, they just want it to be BF. Ugh, lets see
@@monoespacial yea Xbox. Since skirmish mode has come on. I can only play 3 different maps on warfare. Just keeps loading same maps over and over again. All the good maps like stalingrad, omaha beach, forest, the hill are not loading up for some reason.

I was pretty skeptical of the skirmish mode but I’ll check it out now. That is, if I can stop playing helldivers 2

All of my squad aren't fans of skirmish but I really like it. It's nice to play a different game mode now and then.

I'm still bumbed out that they didn't include the Anzacs in El Alamein, they were a key factor to that campaign.

This new escarmouche mode is super cool to play commander. A lot of kill to make and fun strategic moves

I found with the Sten that the firing sound drowns out the body hit indicator sound for me. Anyone else notice this?

Skirmish is pretty good, I’m sure people won’t like it at first but it’s a fun way to break up the warfare rounds
I felt it is just a camp fest they should of made a capture the flag or something fighting over a point with no purpose is boring ruins the game

its not one tank per team. Its as many tanks as you can spawn but there is only 3 tankers per team. You can run 3 individual tanks,
Brits have good weapons now, bren, sten and smle are all excellent. Great new version of the desert too.

No, we don't need this level design like in BF/COD, where every 20m is cover. The HLL maps are so good because the feel naturel.
Sten mk 5 has a smaller sight, that triangle sight is a different gun isn't it?
So the Brits get a HUGE advantage on driel skirmish since the german side is pushed up to far to get tanks on the bridge?
You can go over the water on Driel, it's very shallow

There is technically 2 heavies on driel now but you might a well call it one because no one Is ever gonna take the firefly over churchill
