Just took care of this on my fridge. No dust. Dust (mere dust) is tiny floaty particles. @@kendaljohnson6692 Nice! That means your fridge is working much more efficiently, and you can turn down the thermostat - it'll keep things as cold as it did before (without freezing anything) but the compressor will run less, and save on your electric bill. Nice job!

My family's utility bills have been lowered by me vacuuming the condenser coils under my refrigerator. I have noticed the freezer and refrigerator is more efficient and stays cooler. I appreciate your helpful video.
I have an Amana top freezer/refrigerator. the coils are in the front in a cage so that a thin brush cannot be used. Vacuuming removes dust from the front; I don't have an air compressor. So I used an electric leaf blower on the lowest setting. It worked extremely well, but was messy. I had to vacuum and dust the kitchen afterwards..gave it a good cleaning. This would not be as bad if you clean it every 3 months. One could tarp the counters, table, & sink when doing this. The refrigerator runs less often now and is noticeably quieter.

I vacuumed the coils under my family's Maytag refrigerator the other day. I was surprised by how much dirt came from the refrigerator coils and back of refrigerator. Food is colder in refrigerator and freezer. The video is very helpful. I told a friend about how to clean a dryer vent featured on Amplify DIY. A friend considered cleaning their dryer vent and dryer.
My family's Maytag 10 year old refrigerator and freezer is colder. A $500.00 power panel was replaced a year ago. Vacuuming the condenser coils under the refrigerator and rear is worth it. The electric bill is lower.
Thanks for posting these types of videos. last year I noticed my refrigerator working more than usual, i cleaned it and went back to normal. These types of videos save people so much money and most of us really appreciate it!!!
This is one of those things the manufacturers never seem to mention in the manuals, but I've been doing this annually for at least 30 years. If you do it that often, you will find that the coils never get a severe enough buildup to significantly affect efficiency in a normal home.
I have what I believe is a condensate drain tray beneath my coils, if some of that water gets flung up from the compressed air will it cause an issue? There is some circuitry on the right with the blower fan but I can't see behind the coils...
Thanks for a quick efficient DIY video, not sure why so many people want to tell their life story or try to be funny when they make these . Can guarantee everyone looking at these just want to get to the point, great job! (Now I hope it works , my fridge is running but not cooling)
Very well done video. I suggest warning folks to be aware of their water lines. Not everyone has as much slack as you do. If they haven’t moved their fridge before, go slowly and visualize how long the line is. Be especially carefully if it is copper tubing. I have installed a braided stainless steel hose on mine for extra protection from leaks and ease of movement for cleaning. The before and after pics were very effective.
Thank you so much I've paid two different repair companies hundreds of dollars without solving the problem of my freezer over working in my refrigerator getting warm. One repair company came eight times another company came once. Not one repair or man cleaned my refrigerator coils or even pulled it out away from the wall. They replaced every part possible and failed to resolve my problem. I just cleaned my refrigerator all by myself after watching your video and my refrigerator is now finally working normally after paying hundreds of dollars to repair men
I vacuumed the rear of my garage Frigidaire freezer, as there was strange sounds and some frozen items were not freezing. I used a special appliance brush to clean the refrigerator condenser evaporator coils and vacuumed under my Maytag refrigerator/freezer. I have learned so many things from your UA-cam Amplify DIY videos. Thanks for all you do.
First off, we used to do that fridge joke a lot when I was young. Second, thank you on just how to go about cleaning the coils. And, that putting cardboard down. My floor is just so scraped, but when I redo the floor I will remember that tip. Also, I like the idea of a flexible crevice tool, great.
One of my uncle’s realized refrigerator coils could be dirty causing refrigeration problems with their refrigerators/freezers today. I learned a lot from your helpful video on how to clean refrigerator condenser evaporator coils. You make sense in the importance of keeping refrigerator condenser evaporator coils clean. I regularly clean my refrigerator condenser evaporator coils. Thanks for all you do.
I noticed my next door neighbor’s bottom refrigerator condenser evaporator coils were dirty this Monday afternoon. I used my Home Depot Bucket Head vacuum to clean his refrigerator condenser evaporator coils and rear ventilation holes of his Whirlpool refrigerator. He learned something from me that dirty refrigerator condenser evaporator coils can cause a refrigerator to breakdown, higher utility bills, possible refrigeration problems or fire. You make a lot of sense in the importance of this task. You helped me learn this task. My neighbors, friends, my father have said, you really know your stuff about appliance repair knowledge and dryer vent cleaning. Thanks for all you do.
LOL I thought I was the only one in the world to clean the guts of my refrigerator. Been doing it for 30 years! Thanks for the tip on the brushes. I bought one for my Clothes Dryer last year. It will work great.
Thanks for covering older and newer models. I was thinking just slide it over to the back door and blast it with the leaf blower or air compressor. The cardboard trick looks helpful too since my fridge is right across from the dishwasher
Good video!! Another brush you can use when doing this is a small (1 to 1 1/2") paint brush with bristles about 3" long. Small enough to get in close places, and soft enough to be safe, but stiff enough to do some cleaning. I had an Amana side by side fridge that had coils like the garage unit you show, and it was pretty easy to clean. My current unit is a Frigidaire Gallery side by side, and I have looked under it for the coils, and didn't see any. Methinks I need to pull that heavy dude out, and access the coils at the rear, like your kitchen unit. Good day today, as I learned something. You'd think that by 74 years, I'd know it all, but...... 😁
I recently noticed that my ice cream was much softer than usual and checked the fridge temp to find that it was much higher than usual and wouldn't get any colder. I was worried I'd have to get a repair or buy a new fridge but decided to clean the coils to see if that would help. They hadn't been cleaned since the fridge was bought 27 years ago. Works like new now. 🙂
Don't feel like you are the only one. I haven't cleaned my coils in 27 yrs too!! Will attempt this project soon! This great video has given me incentive. My refrigerator is in a very tight spot too!
The first time it will take at least 45 minutes to unplug, pull out, vacuum, use brushes and compressed air, then vacuum again, put the cover back, push back into place, and plug back in. Some refrigerators roll easier than others, so a friend helping pull it out and push it back in really might help. Start with doing the backside first and use the air compressor to blow dust out the front. Then do the front after taking off the cover. You have to be pretty strong to muscle the fridge. The extra brushes and vacuum attachment are worth their weight in gold. One of the brushes can also be used to clean out your dryers lint trap. It's a real hassle, but worth it when done at least once a year. If you move into a house with an existing fridge, the first thing to do is pull out the fridge to look at it and start the cleaning.
Thanks for this! When he said 10-15 minutes I was immediately discouraged. Your "fist timer" expected time is probably what it will take me every time, and I can plan accordingly.
I recently cleaned my Maytag bottom refrigerator condenser evaporator coils, the rear refrigerator ventilation holes and reset the freezer temperature control panel. My Maytag refrigerator and freezer is working better, keeping items colder and helping save $20.00 each month on electricity. Thanks for teaching me this in your helpful video. Some friends, neighbors, and coworkers have said, I have a natural talent in dryer vent cleaning and appliance repair knowledge. Thanks for all you do.
What a hard job I had cleaning my fridge! I actually made some 'homemade' similar tools (yes, I watch UA-cam how to videos AFTER, duh)! I think the fridge needs to be designed better to keep it clean!
Heh. Teenagers learning to drive sometimes confuse the gas and brake pedals. Luckily the damage was minor, and the fridge still works great! Thanks for watching, Nylanth!
My father noticed that the ice cream was soft this Monday evening. I saw ice accumulation inside my Maytag bottom freezer. I remembered your video about how to clean refrigerator coils. I used my upright Dyson vacuum with the fine attachment to remove dust and dirt from the refrigerator coils and rear ventilation holes. Immediately, my Maytag freezer was making the ice cream hard and colder. I have learned so much from you on cleaning dryer vents, air conditioner condenser coils and refrigerator coil cleaning. My father thought, you know your stuff about home maintenance tasks. Thank you for all you do.
My Maytag refrigerator is working properly. A local appliance repair guy just diagnosed our freezer. The right freezer gasket is not sealing as tight, but the refrigerator/freezer is working properly with me cleaning the refrigerator condenser evaporator coils under the refrigerator. Thanks for teaching me this important task. My father, friends, and coworkers have commented, you really know your stuff about dryer fires, prevention and appliance repair knowledge. Thanks for all you do.
My refrigerator freezer keeps items colder with your technique of how to clean refrigerator coils. My father has commented you have this refrigerator working better as items in the freezer are super cold. Thanks for this video.
Good information... Well done. 👍 A few bits of advice I would add... 1. Don't muscle your brushes or vacuum attachments around the refrigerant lines or between the condenser coils because if you crush them, pierce them, or compromise a braze connection you will be looking at a repair so costly that you may have to consider buying a new fridge. 2. Be gentle pulling the fridge out... Loose water line connections can disconnect and copper lines can crimp quite easily if you horse a fridge around with too much force. Know where your water shutoff valves are before you move your fridge. 3. There is a tray at the bottom of the refrigerator that holds water from the defrost cycle until it naturally evaporates. If you use compressed air to clean the coils be mindful of that fact or you may blast water out of that tray and all over your floor. This is another reason why you want to be gentle pulling the fridge out - a sudden jerk of the fridge could also spill water from that tray. Note: As long as you have no ice on the floor of your freezer (or water dripping into the fridge if your freezer is on top) and your refrigerator is operating at the correct temperatures _(about 0º F for the freezer and 35 - 40º F for the fridge)_ don't be concerned if you find no water in the defrost tray.
My garage Frigidaire freezer is not working properly. I told a local appliance repair guy that the condenser evaporator coils are dirty contributing to the freezer not working. Thank you for teaching me this. You make a lot of sense about how dirty condenser evaporator coils can cause refrigerator and freezer problems with cooling items. Another repair place agreed that is the problem with the freezer. Thanks for all you do.
My bottom freezer below my refrigerator on my Maytag refrigerator is colder and the refrigerator on top is colder today, with your very helpful video How to Clean Refrigerator Condenser Coils on UA-cam. My father replied,You have a knack at figuring out problems with appliances that are not working properly. You can figure out what the problem is within a second. Your videos make sense in making appliances work better and safer. Thank you for all you do.
Appreciate the heads up. I was thinking my fridge was kicking on a little too often. Looks like I have some cleaning to do. Thanks for taking the time to share.
My Maytag refrigerator and freezer are working better and efficiently now. Vacuuming the refrigerator condenser evaporator coils and the rear of refrigerator made a difference in making the refrigerator and freezer colder. Thank you! I was trying to retrieve a toy for my kitten & realized how dirty my coils were! 😱 I have never cleaned up fridge dust before & had no idea where to even begin! All clean now & life is good again!
Watched a few videos and this by far was superbly done and I learned things other videos didn't provide. Thank you for the tool list too. Too bad Amazon is out of one of the products.
Thank you ever so much! This is exactly what I needed to see. The process doesn't look nearly as scary as I thought it would be. Now I can get to it. :)
Thank you for demystifying this. I will attempt it tomorrow 💪 ETA: Couldn't wait and just pulled out my fridge at 9pm. The back looked just like yours, which was a relief! I had the panel off in a minute and easily cleaned the coils. It was so much simpler than I expected. Thank you times a million for the video.
I just came across your video and was very impressed. Not only were your instructions clear and concise, but your use of the English language was stellar. Sometimes people on UA-cam use such poor grammar that I am embarrassed for them. I also liked your quiet manner - very pleasing to listen to. Thank you for this great video!
Thank you for this, I may try it on my old fridge. It seems to me that even if you get most of the dust off, it will be in better shape than it is now.
I wheel my frig. to an outside facing door after removing the panels and blast the dust out with my leaf blower. Not only is the debris gone within a minute, but it's also immensely satisfying!
Thanks, for the video of the possible cause of my non-cooling fridge. It might just be a money saver as technicians are hard to find and with expensive charges. For a while, I thought I need Freon like in a car or the AC. All I need now , muscles and vacuum cleaner.
Another great video. I just did this with my fridge recently and used similar methods. I didn't know about the specialty brushes though and I just used a combination of vacuum tool, hand brush, and even an old paint brush to get the dust in the harder to reach areas.
Definitely clean the coils with the vacuum *before* you hit them with a shot from the air compressor. I did this a while back, and let’s just say I had a very dusty kitchen😅
Omg....awesome video!!!!!....I came on here looking for solutions because my fridge is not getting cold enough....Your teaching style is the best..like a teacher ❤❤.....who knew you have to clean the coils...who knew about coils...its probably full of my dogs hair....Im gonna crawl behind my fridge and clean it..hopefully that works...so I can tell that refrigerator repair guy I fixed it myself!!!!..❤ .Subscribed!!!!❤
Wow you are a very very great teacher I appreciate all of this important little details like like maintaining your screws I just found you but I am definitely excited about seeing all of your content because you are very detail-oriented person and I appreciate that for someone who is a single mom taking care of my mom there's no guys around to help us with any of this stuff so I sincerely appreciate you doing it from a very detailed position teaching us the very important things that you would assume that other people know this is exactly why I hate the phrase common sense because what might be common sense to someone who has done that before might not be common sense to a CNA like I am and what might be common sense for me in nursing you might not even think of so I appreciate your videos so much being so detailed one thing I was wondering is what should the inside of the refrigerator and freezer temperature be and how long after cleaning the coils should I expect to take to regulate the temperature another question is do you have any idea what the fridge should actually be set on for Energy Efficiency? My mom's bills Energy bill seems to be really high and I'm trying to do everything I can to to bring that down for her
Hi Stacie - thank you for your kind words! I'm very glad to hear that my videos have been helpful to you. As for temperature settings etc: Inside your fridge is a smaller version of the same sort of system that keeps your house cool in the summer. Much like a house air conditioner, there is a compressor inside the fridge that is involved in the actual cooling portion of what it does. The compressor cycles on and off periodically to maintain a specific temperature as set by a thermostat (or whatever "coldness level" or similar controls are available inside the fridge). A fridge should be able to maintain between 35-40ºF. Anything above 40ºF is not considered safe for food storage, as some microbes and bacterias can grow just above 40ºF. Also, getting much colder than 35ºF and you'll risk some things starting to freeze. If the coils are dirty, the most common effect is that the fridge compressor (the most energy-hungry component in it) needs to run for longer periods at a time, because the heat exchanger (i.e., the coils, where all the lint/dust builds up) is much less efficient. In extreme cases of dust / lint build up, even with the compressor running all the time the fridge cannot maintain the proper temperature. So - long story short: If you have no idea when the coils were last cleaned, it's time to do it. Clean coils will help a fridge run as efficiently as possible, and use as little power as possible. You can pick up a cheap fridge thermometer on Amazon (amzn.to/3ExDN68) to verify the temperatures the fridge is achieving. It can take up to 24-48 hours for a fridge to really adjust it's internal temps after a good coil cleaning.... so don't expect the internal temp to drop noticeably in the first 5 mins (or even 5 hours) after cleaning. Leave it at least overnight with the door closed before re-checking the temperature, and place the thermometer somewhere on a middle shelf. Good luck to you and your mom!
The fridge in my garage was SO nasty when I cleaned it for this video. Gotta make sure I get that job done every 6 months, since that fridge lives in an environment with LOTS of dust. Have you ever had to clean something that was that bad?
🎉 What a lovely channel! Im in a new apartment and noticed when cleaning how dirty the back of the fridge is so I found ur video and wow! Im appreciative of the effort u put into your videos…seems like u really enjoy doing them. Thanks for the help!!!
Our freezer quit freezing or the food was soft and not frozen, so I have looked up my GE side by side manual and it suggested cleaning the coils. So that brought me to your video. Thanks for the video. Here is hoping this fixes it. All the best from north Texas.
@@AmplifyDIY I will let you know. I have a buddy who is coming over when we get back from our trip to check the fan and coolant level. Funny thing is this is not very old maybe 5-6 years.
Subscribed today to your channel, I've always heard people asking to subscribe to their channels but you asked in such a polite way, even stating there's no pressure from you to subscribe. Thank you for this helpful video. I also was wondering if you could give advice on how to keep washing machines smelling fresh, sometimes there is an odor that smells like mildew. God bless you.
I used to have a shop with multiple fridges and freezers ,this was a six monthly job after hours fridges ran so much less at correct temp ,the blankets of hair and dust ,paper and plastic fragments extracted,my company could not understand why my energy bill was 20 percent less then they xpected and budgeted for also some of my fridges were over 30 years old and still worked perfectly . I told my colleagues and demonstrated cleaning to them but few seemed interested there loss.
Great video! Few months ago, I noticed my older fridge was making a whining noise so I opened up the back panel for the first time in years. So dirty! I knew to clean the front coils but had no idea about the back. No more whining lol
Thank you for this! I followed your video a few weeks ago after putting up with a frequent rattling sound, and our fridge is whisper quiet now! There was so much dust in there that it had to work extra hard to keep cool.
Hi, what I see differently is, the instalation of fridge close to the oven, when the oven is very hot the fridge is going to spend more electricity. Thank you for your video, very instructive! 🙂
There are a few ...ahem *interesting*.. design decisions in this house. Unfortunately, even though we worked with the builder to make a bunch of changes during construction, we could not alter a few things. The placement of the fridge and oven was one such thing. Thanks for watching!
I need help on how to move a large wedged in refrigerator. I enjoyed your video, and found it informative and thorough; however my fridge is so tight and heavy ,I can’t budge it. I need to gather tips and ideas. Thanks
Thank you! I have that fridge and had no idea how to get to the coils on this style. Always had the older style with access from the front/bottom. This will be preformed today.
if you're in an area that can tolerate dust, use the exhaust on your shop vac or a leaf blower at the end. It will liberate a lot of dust! For some shop vacuums, the exhaust is barely or not at all filtered, so in that case clean out the shop vac and filter before blowing around in the house.
All of the sudden my lower drawer freezer won’t go lower than 28. It’s a Samsung RF28HMEDBSR which is about 10 years old, so I can only imagine how bad these coils are. Gonna give this a go in the AM! I’ll be heading to Home Depot for some compressor attachments and will break out my shop vac for extra protection from dust and debris. Please pray for me that this is the culprit. I really don’t want to have to purchase a new unit. I will keep you posted on if this makes a difference! Thanks for making it seem so easy!
Great video. I need more ideas and tips on getting a wedged in refrigerator out. I have a tile floor and the wheels also get stuck- I was unable to get cardboard or thin plywood under it. Thanks for any help.
You likely need a way to get more leverage under the front of the fridge. Do you have access to a hand truck or furniture dolly you can slide the front lip of under the front of the fridge? Something like this thing: amzn.to/4bFnxPZ
I use a wet vac to suck up water from the drip tray then I use a high powered air blower and blow all the dust out. Then I vacuum up all the dust. Sometimes the dust is scattered through the kitchen and living room but I deal with it. Sometimes you can vacuum dust but other times to need to blow it out especially in tight spaces.
OMG I just cleaned mine and it’s been sooo very long I’ve tried to clean before but was a crappy job and never used a flash lit. Plus the fact that I have had a total of 8 cats in my home not all at the same time. I’m not a spinster I have a real child but over the last 30 years I have been a foster parent to sick animals and worked closely with a no kill shelter. That being said you can imagine ho dirty it was. Thanks for video. I had just purchased two brushing tools to clean my dryer and another tool that hooks to my electric drill. I will have to do all my appliances over the next few weeks plus I will help my other colored the same. Thanks
Great video. Thanks for sharing- I will definately go out and purchase the types of brushes and flex crevice tool you use. I've been cleaning coils on my and other's fridges for years, but with old snow brushes, pipe cleaners, repurposed vacuum roller brushes, etc.) (If I may suggest, placing the screws back into their holes immediately after removing the panel(s), cover(s) instead of setting them aside to prevent losing or sitting/kneeling on them. I've also experienced screws with different lengths destined for specific locations). Nice tip with the cardboard!
Simply superb 🎉 and thanks a ton. Can't be any more better than this. Many other videos missed using that long tip brush and etc. Adding 1 more point would be a bit more appreciated i.e. do we need to wait for sometime to switch on the Refrigerator after we moving it to and fro? And I do have similar kind of Samsung fridge with small fan beside compressor and the side or rear body not at all gets heated up, is this normal? My friend's frostfree fridges side bodies are very hot to touch.
As long as you don't tip the fridge over while moving it, you can plug it right back and and start it up running normally as soon as you are finished cleaning. Thank you!
On the Samsung he used as video example. Notice the cracked fittings for the evaporator drains? These drains are a mess. And cause fridge to frost up. Some suggest to make sure they are clear and not dirty inside and/or frozen over. The drains plug up, ruining auto defrost.
Could you possibly do a video on how to properly clean a washing machine and dishwasher? I love you how-to videos as I’m in my early 20s with no guidance on how to upkeep my appliances for my first home! The house came with all the major appliances; so I just want to make sure they’re spick and span to determine if they’re defective and need replaced/repaired!
Hi Twinklintootsies! Congratulations on your first home! I'll add your idea of doing videos on cleaning a washer and dishwasher to my ever-growing list of future videos... but in the mean time: it's probably best to get your hands on the owners manuals for those appliances to check to see what the manufacturer recommends for cleaning / maintaining them. Washing machines vary quite a bit, and the process for where / what to clean as well as how to do it and when to do it also vary widely. Good luck!
My fridge is in an alcove. It is on low pile carpet. I can't budge it. When it was put in place, they used shims under the front to level it. I used a leaf blower to get some of the dust out. But cannot reach the back. I wish i had wheels or a smooth surface to slide it out. I'm an older female. How do you move a large fridge on shims from an alcove? On low berber carpet? ( Cut out between the counter drawers and wood wall holding up the up top cabinets).
Ha, I used to push my Fridge to the back door and mask it off to the opening and use my compressor to blow it out, only took one minute after I masked it off. Easy Peasy!
Just a thought.. When you're blowing the dust out with the compressor have a shop vac turned on but take the hose out. It will suck up all that flying dust while you are working. Thanks for your help!!❤

HAVE USED LEAF BLOWER. WIFE WAS PISSED, BUT WAS NICE AND CLEAN. THEN CAME THE CLEANUP OF KITCHEN 😂
Great tip on the brush!
Great job!
Don't feel like you are the only one. I haven't cleaned my coils in 27 yrs too!! Will attempt this project soon! This great video has given me incentive. My refrigerator is in a very tight spot too!
What is the brand?
@@b.c.2836 Mine is a Kenmore. The compressor is 29 years old this year. Still working great.
Man, I think that 27 years ago, the ice maker was not even invented😂
A fridge involved in a fender bender is just begging to be made into a cartoon. Just came across your videos. Great stuff, thank you for sharing!
Heh. Teenagers learning to drive sometimes confuse the gas and brake pedals. Luckily the damage was minor, and the fridge still works great! Thanks for watching, Nylanth!
I recently cleaned the refrigerator coils under my family's refrigerator. I was surprised by a little dust on the coils. The video is helpful.
This is probably the best information I've received all year. Thank you!
Wow - thank you!
My Maytag refrigerator is working properly. A local appliance repair guy just diagnosed our freezer. The right freezer gasket is not sealing as tight, but the refrigerator/freezer is working properly with me cleaning the refrigerator condenser evaporator coils under the
refrigerator.
Well done and this is something everyone should be doing a minimum of yearly.
Good information... Well done. 👍
A few bits of advice I would add...
Great advice all around. Thank you!
🤣🤣 loved the compressed air and water visual!!!
Your videos make sense in making appliances work better and
safer.
Thank you for your very helpful video on how to clean refrigerator condenser evaporator coils on your UA-cam Amplify DIY channel. I have learned so much from you. People have said, you really know your stuff about dryer vent cleaning and appliance repair knowledge. Thank you for everything you have taught me.
You've got this!
Thank you for demystifying this. I will attempt it tomorrow 💪
ETA: Couldn't wait and just pulled out my fridge at 9pm. The back looked just like yours, which was a relief! I had the panel off in a minute and easily cleaned the coils. It was so much simpler than I expected. Thank you times a million for the video.
I'm so glad it went so well for you! Thanks for watching!
I just came across your video and was very impressed. Not only were your instructions clear and concise, but your use of the English language was stellar. Sometimes people on UA-cam use such poor grammar that I am embarrassed for them. I also liked your quiet manner - very pleasing to listen to. Thank you for this great video!
Public school education for the win! Thanks, CatGal!
Thank you. I followed your guide and the frig is quiet and clean. I didn’t unplug, but that’s on me
Thank you for this, I may try it on my old fridge. It seems to me that even if you get most of the dust off, it will be in better shape than it is now.
I wheel my frig. to an outside facing door after removing the panels and blast the dust out with my leaf blower. Not only is the debris gone within a minute, but it's also immensely satisfying!
I cannot be leaf you did that
Thanks, for the video of the possible cause of my non-cooling fridge.
Nice job, Alanalso! I never thought to try an old paint brush - great idea!
Definitely clean the coils with the vacuum *before* you hit them with a shot from the air compressor. I did this a while back, and let’s just say I had a very dusty kitchen😅
Great tip, thank you, Lori!
🤣🤣 So funny as I got the visual, but awful at the same time!!
You have to do it when the wife is not home! for your safety !!
This was an awesome instructional video on cleaning the coils of the refrigerator. Thank you! 😊
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much you wouldn't happen to have a video on fixing the kitchen sink would you
The fridge in my garage was SO nasty when I cleaned it for this video. Gotta make sure I get that job done every 6 months, since that fridge lives in an environment with LOTS of dust. Have you ever had to clean something that was that bad?
Love your pleasant voice and straightforward explanation. Thank you for posting this!
I do this to my fridge once a year lol. Great video 👍
I hope it helps! Let me know how it goes!
Thank you so much!
Thank you. My garage fridge needed this. Your video was very helpful
Awesome! Nice! Another great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
So much I didn't know! I'm getting it done now. Thanks, your video is clear, concise, well articulated, and very useful.
Glad it was helpful!
OMG you're wearing an Andrew Camarata Shirt !!! Instant respect. Thankyou for the video. Great instruction as to what I am doing tomorrow.
"Lets get to work!" - I love AC's channel. :)
Great video! Few months ago, I noticed my older fridge was making a whining noise so I opened up the back panel for the first time in years. So dirty! I knew to clean the front coils but had no idea about the back. No more whining lol
Glad it helped!
Thank you for this! I followed your video a few weeks ago after putting up with a frequent rattling sound, and our fridge is whisper quiet now! There was so much dust in there that it had to work extra hard to keep cool.
Glad it helped!
Kudos for all the tips and visuals. Your entire home is spotless from the get go. Stay smiling and healthy.
Really great video. Straight to the point with well lit examples!
Looks like someone should have gotten a cabinet depth refrigerator. But good informational video worthy of a thumb up.
Awesome video, thank you so much!!
I need help on how to move a large wedged in refrigerator. I enjoyed your video, and found it informative and thorough; however my fridge is so tight and heavy ,I can’t budge it. I need to gather tips and ideas. Thanks
Great video, you really are thorough in your explanations and demonstrations!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for this information..and the reminder ..I'm going to get this job done 👍
Glad you finally made another video. I love your content
Thank you, Busy Boy! I promise I'm cranking stuff out as fast as I can. :)
Thank you! I have that fridge and had no idea how to get to the coils on this style. Always had the older style with access from the front/bottom. This will be preformed today.
Glad I could help!
I found this video to be more complicated, but Thanks SOOO much!!!
if you're in an area that can tolerate dust, use the exhaust on your shop vac or a leaf blower at the end.
Best of luck! You've got this!
Great video! Most informative and easy to understand. Thank you!
A leaf blower does wonders too!
Thanks
I stumbled onto this video. I need to do this...I don't recall the last time. THANKS!
Great video!
The pictures and audio were fantastic.
Thanks!
Many thanks!
Great video on cleaning refrigerator coils.
Thank you!
Back in the 70s we prank-called people with that joke! 🤣Great video. Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for sharing- I will definately go out and purchase the types of brushes and flex crevice tool you use. I've been cleaning coils on my and other's fridges for years, but with old snow brushes, pipe cleaners, repurposed vacuum roller brushes, etc.)
(If I may suggest, placing the screws back into their holes immediately after removing the panel(s), cover(s) instead of setting them aside to prevent losing or sitting/kneeling on them. I've also experienced screws with different lengths destined for specific locations).
Nice tip with the cardboard!
Great tip about putting screws right back in - that can save a pretty bad headache!
I would add that checking the fan motor and lubricating the bearings while cleaning the coils.
Thank you!
We really enjoyed watching this, now Elijah knows how to clean fridge coils when that need arises 😁
We love your channel!! Subscribed ✅
Thank you 🤗
On the Samsung he used as video example.
Good luck!
Thank you very much for your demonstrative video so useuful.
Thanks for the information 🤙 .
You bet!
An absolutely perfect video. Nothing to improve. Fantastic job. Other UA-camrs could learn a lot from you. I subscribed and gave you a thumbs up!
Thank you!
I may try that next time. Thanks!
8:35 air compressor or leaf blower or maybe shop vac output. I use a leaf blower.
I just cleaned my coils! Randomly found your channel and saw your last video was a coil cleaning also. It's that time of the year I guess. Sub'd
Thank you, will have to do this soon!
Good luck!
