Lol. Right?! Exceedingly impressive! (And I'm what most people call 'a damn good rider / instructor'.) That bike is not much different from the 1972 ElectraGlide that I just built. So, your comment is pretty much as timeless as this motor patrolman's performance, as well as the machine he's riding! 😎👍
@@namman03 here in Ohio, you can get a learner's permit, which restricts you to solo riding, in a helmet, during daylight hours (no displacement restrictions, which I don't agree with), just by correctly answering some questions. But to get your unrestricted endorsement, you have to execute commands on a course of cones similar to what's found at a rodeo. A common approach is to show up with a scooter (which makes it a cake walk). Some people show up with their new Road King or Hyabusa and leave with their tales between their legs and no endorsement.
Anyone who rides understands the skill needed to do something like this. Just being on the bike in front of the cones is confusing. Riding almost 50 years now. This guy is a master. A lot of people here hate cops and/or Harleys. Nice job officer

No, all the skills he has are quickly taught and honed in first at the Motor-Officer school and then during the required in-service training they do every few months. You can take an officer with zero knowledge and skills and get him/her to this point as long as that officer has the desire to learn the skills.

Not really. I scrape my floorboards all the time and there's still several degrees of lean left. The floorboards scraping just let you know that you're approaching the lean angle limit of the bike before a hard spot hits.

Slow maneuvers are the most difficult thing you can do on a motorcycle. That officer is a master at it.
I think highchair circle wheelies are just a little harder, but this is more useful. :)
Yes I rode for many years and these slow manovers require perfect ratio of throttling tge clutch..
I'm more impressed he remembers which way to go every time
