Nice Job Tyler. It looks sturdy and should serve you well for a long time. Love seeing the kids and wife "helping Dad". It brought a huge smile to my day. Blessings and best wishes to everyone.
+Michael Olsen Hi Machael! Was a little worried about the french cleat holding up but it seems to be okay so far....sturdier that I thought it would be. The kids LOVE to help out...maybe a little too much, the wife...not so much but she is there when I need the help.
Came across this looking to find uses for a folding "workmate" table and this was great! I could watch you work all day long--you're so organized, neat and obviously a fantastic carpenter. I enjoyed it, thanks!
Thanks for the SUPER comment Christine! Have a long way from to get the shop as organized as I would like but it's getting there. Glad you liked the video!
Nice build. I am building a table for a OneFinity. My table is 5’x4”, due to the controller, so I was going to have 5’ along the wall. But I like your idea of using the mount against the wall to house the controller and I can mount the screen on the wall. The box for me bay be 18” because the CNS is pretty tall. Thanks for the idea.
Very clean and functional. I like how you took advantage of the storage space for electronics and supplies. Nice Build Tyler! You've got some good shop helpers there, too.
Very good helpers! Wanted to get the electronics covered up and out of the dust and keep all the bits and stuff out of the rest of my tools. Thanks for watching Ben.
Tyler, I love the 90 degree clamp you used for this project! You listed most of your tools but not this clamp. I have an x-carve as well and plan to build a table for it. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and look forward to the next one.
Great job Tyler, I'm trying to decide if I want a wall mount like yours or a folding table. I loved how you involved your kids, when mine were young we built train sets for Christmas presents. Thanks for Video.
Nice! love the fold away! what would be really cool is to do the same thing for all the other equipment like a table drill press, plainer, chop saw. and have them all lay as flat to the wall as possible. I would love to do it in a space of 8' x 10' shed.
Awesome! Glad you are getting the little ones to help out in the shop. I love working in the shop because I was in one frequently as a kid. I like the design and it looks good too!
***** Thanks! It's been amazing so far, and its only been 8 days:) But you know that 2 times over. Love seeing your kids running around in the videos, and helping you:)
Just purchased an X-Carve and I love your concept of a space saver (purchased the same size) for this tool. Wanted to see if you still had all the dimensions so I can build mine prior to my x-carve arrival
Have you thought about a parallelogram for the legs? It could connect to the box on the wall and auto fold and retract the legs. Would be an easy feature to add. Great job! Aloha.
Sweet, man! Turned out great. I was watching for how you made that locking part on the leg. I think your rope holder thing on the wall should hold for a while. Great place for the stickers as well.
Tyler - great job. Love it. But, with those little helpers you have around the shop please replace the rope with a positive locking mechanism to ensure it does not fall on them. You are very meticulous and your videos are well made.
Thanks for the kind comment! The rope has turned out to be a better solution than expected for holding the table up( it actually holds itself up with its own weight) but I do need to add something to hold the legs in place when the table is down. Thanks for looking out!
Hey Tyler, nice video! Was curious to what the dimensions are for the long box attached to the wall. I'm looking to build something similar but need to know the clearance between the wall and the Z or drag chain. Thanks
cool kids ! I am also hoping to buy the Xcarve for my new (CAD/CAM) design lampshade business. Would this be a good option? or should I stick with industrial CNC option (That would be too expensive for me) . Another question , I have another stepper motor driver board which uses Mach3. Can I use them with xcarve (replacing Gshild and arduino )
+Asanke Raynayake They are my favorite! If the X-Carve is all you have the ability to get your hands on it is better than no CNC but be prepared to put a decent amount of time into it. If you are patent and willing to work with it, and use the proper tooling, it is useful and fun to have! Yes you can dump the typical xcarve controller and just use the hardware with the board and driver you mentioned.
Nice project! I think I would have done something similar with a minor difference. I would have built a cabinet around it. Sort of like a Murphy bed. Or, if wall space had permitted, to recess it. Regardless, nice execution! Gives me some ideas.
+wrems77 Another youtuber +Averagejoesjoinery did pretty much exactly what you are talking about. Recessing it would be AWESOME but who has that room? Works great for us and its the least amount of wood to make something like this that I could come up with. Thanks for watching!
nice project but how about the legs? is there no stop on it? , like change kicking them per accident ? it seems you are caution wen unfold that nice looking table ;-)
+Paul E There is a hard stop when folding the legs out but nothing to lock them in place when they are open. I do think I might add one though, better safe then sorry. Thanks for watching Paul.
+Tyler G well its fun to see your work nice and clean ;-) i do learn alot every day watching all kinds of woodworking clips, you have a nice shop , my shop is small 4 x 3 meters ;-) proberly adding 3 meters more if i look sweet at my wife haha........;-) and the X-Carve wunderfull machine sadly i dont have that amount to buy it gratz on that one , hope to see some work with it from you Tyler ;-)
Really nice build Tyler. Just one thing, maybe I missed it, but do you have any mechanism to stop you accidentally kicking the legs inwards when it's down? Otherwise the unit would just slam into the floor wouldn't it? Accidents happen. I expected to see some sort of lock mechanism like you see on folding trellis tables, two hinged boards underneath the table that lock when the legs are at 90deg. Anyway, still a cool project, very jealous
Ah okay, the torsion box butts up against the wall mounted box. But still, if the legs did get kicked out that's a lot of weight counterbalanced on essentially two hinges. Just thinking of your little ones running about bumping into things, as they do ;)
Don't currently have a lock but I really like what you mentioned....like a folding table. Will want to do something cause the kids walk under it when it's down. Torsion box is butted up against the box but I don't think that will hold it. Thanks for watching Lee and thanks so much for the feedback!
Tyler, I really like your table for the xcarve. If I ever get the xcarve I think I will follow your idea. So far one of the best I have seen. Great job. Paul a.k.a. paulsmessyworkshop on UA-cam
+Adam Barraclough I can send you some. DIYTyler@gmail.com if your interested. Need to get an article up about this build, several people have asked for the plans. Thanks for watching!
Very nice Tyler! I'm hoping they send me one. BTW, I love your interns. Great planning on the right color for his bottle. ;) That is a great place for your sticker board too. Douglas
+RetroWeld Was sure hoping for one but was still surprised when they contacted me! Ha, interns....never thought of them that way but sure...you noticed the bottle too, my wife was wondering if anybody would notice. Yup, good sticker board, yours look good up there!
These people who press dislike button have no idea about woodworking. Really good work Tyler!!
Thanks a ton man! Get them all the time, kinda crack me up. Thanks for watching
.

Thanks for the SUPER comment Christine! Have a long way from to get the shop as organized as I would like but it's getting there. Glad you liked the video!
Bravo Tyler! I love the design of the stop blocks, how they are tucked inside. I like that a lot better than the massive 2x4 I use on mine.
Thanks April! They work pretty well but it's not as hard a stop as I was hoping, I suppose with the leverage of the leg nothing will work too well.
I really like the over all design of the X-Carve folding table. I also like all the things changed and might change in the future. Good job Tyler!
Thanks man!

Great build Tyler. You had some cute helpers running around there too. Spend a lot of time with them. They grow up so fast.
+Frank Ingram They are already getting so big! Thanks for watching Frank.
Very clean and functional. I like how you took advantage of the storage space for electronics and supplies. Nice Build Tyler! You've got some good shop helpers there, too.

Great to see the kids in the shop with you. I'm anxious for the day both of mine can join me.
+Craig Mullen It is usually a good time...sometimes they try to be a little too helpful! Thanks for watching Craig.
Pretty awesome solution! I like the way you hid the power supply! Thanks for sharing!
+Scrap wood City Sure saves a lot of room! Thanks for watching Man

DIY Tyler rocked it... Excellent post!
Your videos rock. They are well thought out, to the point and looks like you know what you're doing. Thanks a bunch! Keep up the good work!
Great job Tyler, I'm trying to decide if I want a wall mount like yours or a folding table. I loved how you involved your kids, when mine were young we built train sets for Christmas presents. Thanks for Video.
You have some cute helpers! Great project!
Really nice, Tyler! It actually looks really good painted white even. Good idea to have the drawer for storage as well.
+CMR Woodworks | Chris McDowell The drawer was an absolute must! Thanks for watching Chris!
That boy has talent. A gallon paint can onto the second shelf and never lost his sippy cup. Impressive.
+heathenous81 That little guy is next level! Thanks for watching.
Really great design Tyler! Its good as a workbench as well as for the x carve. The additional storage drawer is a nice addition.
Drawer is awesome to have! Am surprised how sturdy it is, no lateral wobble.

+Makercise They do love to come in there with me! Thanks for watching!
I like your design assistants, especially the one that brought his own version of a camel pack to hydrate while working.
Great job and with so many helpers you can't go wrong. Regards.
+Ron Cooper They are good little helpers! Thanks for watching Ron, appreciate it.
Really nice, Tyler! Great space-saving solution
+Matt Williams Thanks Matt....congrats on the baby!
***** Thanks! It's been amazing so far, and its only been 8 days:) But you know that 2 times over. Love seeing your kids running around in the videos, and helping you:)
Good looking table, and functional. Congrats on the x-carve, and I spotted a few familiar stickers there dude. Have a great weekend Ty
+Bellevue Woodshop Thanks Roy. You have prime real estate on both leg stops!
Just found your video by chance. I really like the design of your table, well done. Greetings from uk
Thanks Rui! Have some rough plans if you would like them.....send me an email.
nice one ty..i like the over all design of it. i also like the drawer. nice touch.
Drawer is super handy...using the table right now actually! Thanks for watching Joe.
+Tyler G is drawer for the electric stuff or for misc stuff?
Very nice. Your work is very neat and clean. I enjoy your videos very much.
Kids are very helpful. They are so cute.
Just purchased an X-Carve and I love your concept of a space saver (purchased the same size) for this tool. Wanted to see if you still had all the dimensions so I can build mine prior to my x-carve arrival
Great, thanks!! Your kids are adorable btw. Mine love helping me (aka getting in the way) too!!
Exactly how I'm planning to setup my OX CNC ! Another excellent video. Thank for sharing, I now have a design to start with (y)
Thanks and good luck man!
Kewl project, I can see some other possible applications. Nice job. "Thumb hammered"!
+Bruce B You like how I threw that in there! Thanks Bruce, appreciate it.
Have you thought about a parallelogram for the legs? It could connect to the box on the wall and auto fold and retract the legs. Would be an easy feature to add. Great job! Aloha.
That is a excellent idea Artie! Definitely will look into that. Thanks for watching!!
Sweet, man! Turned out great. I was watching for how you made that locking part on the leg. I think your rope holder thing on the wall should hold for a while. Great place for the stickers as well.
+Joshua Luther It seems to be working okay for now! Yea my bolt/wood thingy will be just fine....thanks for watching Josh....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Looks like it does the job. Nice work.
It gets the job done! Thanks for watching!
Very nicely done. I love your helpers
Nice video. You've given me some ideas for my own shop, which is a bit cramped right now, hehe.
+Robby Nowell Glad to help! Thanks for watching.
Good stuff as always Tyler
Thanks Ian, much appreciated!
it's so beautiful!!! I can't wait to make my own!
Thanks for the video, you've given me a few ideas. Just noticed when you're stapling you're not using eye protection most of the time.
Glad the video helped, thanks for watching!
Oh! Look at that! A fishin buddy and a dance partner! Cool beans!
You better believe it!
How about showing a video of making the dust catcher behind your miter saw.I really need one.
+James McGuire If you watch my shop dust collection video I make it in there. Lots of people have asked about that one!
Great design. Simple and effective solution. Does storing the CNC vertically impose any stress or misalignment issues? Thanks for sharing!
+Don Fillenworth Thanks Don...so far I have not seen any ill effects from rotating the table.
Turned out nicely!
+Bruce A. Ulrich I think so...thanks for watching Bruce!
Tyler - great job. Love it. But, with those little helpers you have around the shop please replace the rope with a positive locking mechanism to ensure it does not fall on them. You are very meticulous and your videos are well made.

Like all that went in (including the kids) it, NEAT!
Thanks man....glad you liked it!
Lol the bare feet at 9:08! I'm guessing the sensation of cold concrete awakens your inner genius?
Yup! Just the intro and outros
Any issues at all with the weight of the machine causing sagging of the gantrys or misalignment?
How has this held up over the years?
Really neat design Tyler! Should look great covered in stickers too :)
Thanks Henry! If you guys send 'em they will go up!
+Tyler G I need to get round to making my stickers, I keep meaning to do it but keep getting side tracked
Very cool build. I really like the project and video and might possibly build one for my shop (1/2 garage). Thanks for the video!
Awesome...good luck and thanks for watching Jb!
Great table Tyler, glad you got my sticker
+Mike Fulton Thanks Mike, sticker looks good up there!
Looks real nice.
Thanks Justin!
Very Cool! Also the bug on the screen at 9:18 made me think there was a bug running around on my computer =)
+TabLeft Workshop Ha! Was hard to stay focused when it went zipping by. Thanks for watching man!
That worked out nicely...
+wordsnwood It works pretty well! Thanks for watching Art.
Hey Tyler, nice video! Was curious to what the dimensions are for the long box attached to the wall. I'm looking to build something similar but need to know the clearance between the wall and the Z or drag chain. Thanks
Made mine to sit 13" off the wall and its just enough to clean the z axis. Thanks for watching man!

Did you make a drawer for the electronics?! Table looks awesome, and great space saving design.
Just for the bits and stuff although a drawer at the bottom is probably a good idea. Thanks Jonathan!

I just got an x-carve do you have any measurements for your table. I really like your design the best out of all I've seen. thanks
+Toxic Flies Email me and I will send you some plans. DIYTyler@gmail.com
+Tyler G thanks man that's awesome.
Great solution!
+Andrea Arzensek Sure is nice to get it out of the way! Thanks for watching Andrea.
Is there a place to download drawing and measurements? I sent you an email just didn't know if there was any other resources.
Awesome table. Where can I get a cut list or plans?
Shoot me an email DIYTyler@gmail.com and i can send you the list.
How is this working out after 5 years?
Hey man, just curious if you've noticed any misalignment or racking after 4 years of use? Thanks!
Nope, still works great!
Parabéns.. Mais um inscrito.
was the zp-10 ca glue, what type of clamps do you use?

how many pieces of plywood did this take if you can remember ? i am waiting for my xcarve now and need to make something like this
I believe one and some scraps.
What corner clamps are those that you used I am looking for some nice heavy duty ones
BESSEY corner clamps, highly recommend them. Thanks for watching Andrew!
Splendid !
Do you a materials and cut list available?
ты крутой столяр!!! молодец!
+валерий стороженко Большое спасибо!
Thank you very much!
How strong is this table to do wood work on even with the foldable mechanism?
Plenty strong. Had stacked a lot of material on it.
Sweet build.
Thanks man....needs to get they huge machine off my workbench!
Do you have any plans of your table? I have a X-Carve on the way and want to incorporate many ideas. Thanks! :)
+Mike Butler Some basic plans. Send me an email (DIYTyler@gmail.com) and I will send them to you. Thanks for watching!
Reply sent, thank you for the offer!:)
Add me to the list of people wanting plans. Do you have a website, or just the facebook thing?
Lol you see his son didn't drop that bottle but still picked up that paint can, he is a strong little man lol.
Tyler, I really like your table for the xcarve. If I ever get the xcarve I think I will follow your idea. So far one of the best I have seen. Great job. Paul a.k.a. paulsmessyworkshop on UA-cam
Thanks Paul! Good luck if you do make it!!
Do you have a link for the corner clamps you used, they look pretty beefy!
+trippnk They are pretty awesome clamps! Here is a link for them (Affiliate Link). Thanks for watching.

+Tyler G Thanks for the quick response.
Nice.
Let’s go red wings!
Do you have plans for this bench?
+Adam Barraclough I can send you some. DIYTyler@gmail.com if your interested. Need to get an article up about this build, several people have asked for the plans. Thanks for watching!
hi tyler..
How much money you spent to make it?? thanks b4
If I remember right I think about $120.
Very nice Tyler! I'm hoping they send me one. BTW, I love your interns. Great planning on the right color for his bottle. ;) That is a great place for your sticker board too. Douglas

You have a small child in your shop and what you did is dangerous
Instead of putting text on the screen couldn't you voice over? This is a video not a book :)
+Bruno de França Valli Takes time man. Last few videos have a voiceover, got a new mic.
Cool, will match them :). I understand it takes time. Just trying to be helpful :)
it's so beautiful!!! I can't wait to make my own!
+Ryan Ramirez Nice! Thanks for watching Ryan!
