    Lyrics
    Oh oh yeah
    Don't you know,
That now you blow my mind
    Honey,
    You're sweeter
    Than anything, I need you
Want to get closer to you
I want you get closer to you now
    Love ya
    I need ya
I think I wanna squeeze ya
    Nightly,
    So tightly,
Girl you know you really blow my mind
    Say it again,
    Just one more time
    I've got to know,
How you came to blow my mind
    Closer
    Pleasure, passion
Tonite's the night I'm looking for your action
    I want to hold you,
Don't you know now you blow my mind
    Say it again,
    Just one more time
    I've got to know,
How you came to blow my mind
    Closer,
    Fever, hot now,
Help me wipe the sweat away from my brow,
    Sexy
    Oh lady,
Don't you know this time you blow my mind
    Oh don't you know yeah,
Don't you know by now that now you blow my mind
    Oh yes you do
    Oh yes you do
Oh yes you blow my mind

The first time I ever saw them on TV.
I know ego boosting, drug-fuelled, financial disputes of songwriting credits were to blame. But when it all boils down to it, I think this band realised from the start how good they were.

My fav Jamiroquai. Acid Jazz at its best. Perfection. I was def. an urban hipster in the 90s and loved to play keyboards on this .. when I performed it with a cover band in Southern CA.

Damn this sure was the 90s. I must've worn one of those poncho print hoodies and rastafarian hats every day of freshman and sophomore year of college lol. Sadly I didn't discover Jamiroquai until the late 90s. Good thing tho, or I may have never left the 90s at all.

Ahhhhh what a tune!!! Discovered jamiroquai and this track specifically in the summer of 1997 when I was 16. Won’t bore you with any more of my reminiscing but the emergency on planet earth album provided the soundtrack to that summer........which was bizarre because I was and still am into heavy metal 🤣 Jamiroquai were that smooth it slid right in there 👀 and echoing some of the other comments RIP Toby Smith, you made a lot of people very happy 👊🏻

I wish they wouldn't have omitted the part where Jay drops out for a few bars and that horn section takes over with that melody that keeps repeating throughout the song, but on the studio version it features *just* that part and its so glorious. In England and Japan and in South America, they were selling out shows and were very successful. In North America unless you were a DJ or a music collector, (this was before the internet where anyone can listen to every single song ever made now and learn about artists not popular in their country etc.), you went to the record shop and what artists they had, were the ones you knew about) you didn't know who they were until a few records later when "Virtual Insanity" became a hit. They didn't become popular, but became a common name in the pop music scene. Which is how I found them out, I was in elementary school when MTV would show "Virtual Insanity" all the time when it came out.
