I was starting playing my night with the second, instrumental part of the song, in the club I was working, in the island of Skopelos. People loved it, it was something like sporting warm up. Jay, great talent, he was making my night easy, while every year he was releasing something, in the time I was playing the records. Tony, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Perhaps the greatest thing about this band is that it has its own style, the fusion of rhythms is really brutal, a disco music with a mix of funky repontered to unique levels ................. ..
RIP Toby Smith..I think This song's Album Version is the best of Toby's great work. Especially from 4:37 is really awesome. I love this Album version more than short version. Oh, Toby, you, too young to die... So sad.
"Blow Your Mind" Oh oh yeah Don't you know, That now you blow my mind Honey, You're sweeter Than anything, I need you Want to get closer to you I want you get closer to you now Love ya I need ya I think I wanna squeeze ya Nightly, So tightly, Girl you know you really blow my mind Say it again, Just one more time I've got to know, How you came to blow my mind Closer Pleasure, passion Tonite's the night I'm looking for your action I want to hold you, Don't you know now you blow my mind Say it again, Just one more time I've got to know, How you came to blow my mind Closer, Fever, hot now, Help me wipe the sweat away from my brow, Sexy Oh lady, Don't you know this time you blow my mind Oh don't you know yeah, Don't you know by now that now you blow my mind Oh yes you do Oh yes you do Oh yes you blow my mind
The first two J albums are pure perfection and beauty. But... the final of this song it would about 24 hours long: style, smoothness, groove... it's how is the music on a party on Heaven.
I totally agree, but they are losing it...noone digs in the crates, or research music like our predecessors that appreciate and give respect to the one's that have paved the way...like for Jamiroquai..he named his influences...earth, wind and fire...stevie wonder, prince, marvin gaye... all prodigies in their own right...gotta do your research to be the best, and to be able to incorporate and fuse all your talents to be original.
This stands out, even in terms of classic dance funk or classic funk fusión from the 70's... Jay Kay & Band quite lo lovers of brazilian músic also... this is so good my toefingers start dancing... alone 💛🕺💃
Hell yeah! Been listening to them since 1992 when i was 15. I am now 47 and my son is 16 and i am taking him to his 2nd jamiroquai gig ...heels of steel in 2025! ❤❤
@nicknick4156 Like that. I was 22! Jamiroquai rocks. My daughters are 34 now but got acquainted through Napoleon Dynamite when they were teens😂 Canned heat
Hi. I know. It's still a bad boy old-school tune. When I first heard this tune back in 1993, I thought the singer was George Benson. However, regardless of the artist, it's still a great song that I am jamming to, 30 years on.
I wish I could hear something new as good as the songs from the 90's... I think I'll be listening to old stuff for the rest of my life... I mean, does anything now sound as funky sexy solid great as this???
clearly haven’t looked enough if you can’t find anything like this. so many people love the 90s and 80s sound and create something very similar. although, i don’t think anyone can recreate the exact feeling jamiroquai used to give off, truly a one of a kind
this song is absolutely one of Jamiroquai's masterpiece, the instrumental part of the song wish will never ends
Perfect fusion between House and Acid Jazz....lovely
Absolute masterpiece, musicianship at its finest. Awesome
In poche parole TANTA ROBA!
Still in 2024 this remains an absolute masterpiece. Unmatched groove
The whole song, the music, the way all of the instruments come in at the correct time is just pure perfection
Anybody jammin' to this still in 2021? 🎶
One of my favorites, if not my favorite...been jamming to him since 1995...hands down the MAN
Yep
I jam this at least once a fortnight. 👍🏾
I AM take a walk with my dog.. This song is timeless. ♥️
This is the first song I ever heard by Jamiroquai in 93. It's been a love affair ever since❤❤❤❤❤❤

And acid jazz too!
What a missed opportunity. Jamiroquai was so dope. They could play, Jay could sing and the music was slappin'. This is always gon be my jam.
Funk and jazz executed beautifully in a a single track. Has practically most of the instrumental elements I love.
Still blowing my mind❤❤❤❤
Toby Smith was such a talented keyboardist. Just listen to that Rhodes sing!!! GODSPEED, TOBY
Still a mastergroove in 2023!
Why Stuart Zender will ALWAYS be the best bass player for Jamiroquai. Nothing against anyone else but his grooves...man.
Still love this track. Went to see this band in Paris, in small place in 1993. There were not famous at this time. One of the best concert ever.
Great share! Thanks David. Fab that this is still available!
RIP Toby Smith..I think This song's Album Version is the best of Toby's great work.
Especially from 4:37 is really awesome. I love this Album version more than short version.
Oh, Toby, you, too young to die... So sad.
😢
"Blow Your Mind"
Oh oh yeah
Don't you know,
That now you blow my mind
Honey,
You're sweeter
Than anything, I need you
Want to get closer to you
I want you get closer to you now
Love ya
I need ya
I think I wanna squeeze ya
Nightly,
So tightly,
Girl you know you really blow my mind
Say it again,
Just one more time
I've got to know,
How you came to blow my mind
Closer
Pleasure, passion
Tonite's the night I'm looking for your action
I want to hold you,
Don't you know now you blow my mind
Say it again,
Just one more time
I've got to know,
How you came to blow my mind
Closer,
Fever, hot now,
Help me wipe the sweat away from my brow,
Sexy
Oh lady,
Don't you know this time you blow my mind
Oh don't you know yeah,
Don't you know by now that now you blow my mind
Oh yes you do
Oh yes you do
Oh yes you blow my mind
What a quality singer love this guy and his bandmates
omg, that instrumental at the end
4:37 onwards pure magical !
This along with Music of the Mind are my go to jams from the first album.
The first two J albums are pure perfection and beauty. But... the final of this song it would about 24 hours long: style, smoothness, groove... it's how is the music on a party on Heaven.
The second part with fender Rhodes and bass line is marvelous, zender & Smith were geniuses.

They don't make music this great anymore.
i agree 100000000000000000 percent
cuz the pilar members are not anymore in the band.
There's great music out there but for some reason it's hard to find.
Agreed 100%
Try listening to Ole Borud's last few alums. Steely Dan meets Jamiroquai meets Pages.
Sublime. Perfection.

Brilliant brings great memories
The singing and harmon trumpet soli is just that best thing ever
Exceptionnel comme toujours !
Anyone else thinking that 08:30 is still too short for this incredible song?
I could listen to the outro forever, so yes.
Amazing. Just amazing
The 90s was the last era of the funk! :(
3:20-4:10 Best scatting/flugelhorn duet of all time.
actually it's a muted trumpet but who cares when you hear that duet..
I wish I posessed your fellow musical education to dsicern the horns.
