The art direction and cinematography with the song is true perfection. ❤🎉 I stopped watching the news as much as I did back in 2012, it was seriously causing me anxiety. Best decision for my mental health.
Thankfully, no such thing as Too Much, Enough when it applies to Nation of Language and its awesome catalog of great songs. So looking forward to seeing these guys live in my hometown of San Diego on Halloween weekend.
I am very surprised by the level of this song and sole obsession, thank you guys for this music and this video is fantastic, i love these persons, actors, musicians…❤
Saw you guys at the OFF festival in Katowice and was absolutely smitten; you know how sometimes you come across music that feels like you always lacked? That it feels a void you never realized were inside you? Nation of Language makes music that works like that for me.
God I have been really loving NOL's sonic tuneage since first discovering them almost exactly a year ago thanks to KEXP who musically along with BBC Six Music you can always rely on to open our ears to so many unheard of pleasures. Now back to this US band, I just love how brilliantly and skilfully they seem to have tapped into that beautiful British early eighties nostalgic sound. Personally, this cracking new tune has ripples of Human League and OMD all over it. Lovely new single...
Reminds me very much of modern Britain where we are saturated with competing media outlets all trying to get our attention with 24 hour rolling news footage which is often pretty bleak and depressing. Towards the right we have (to some extent) our own version of Fox News with GB News. We also have Mr Murdoch's less popular Talk TV. These two stations state they are championing free speech, however, under the guise of this mantra it seems they mostly slant the days news predominately towards a right leaning prism and end up no longer simply trying to objectively deliver the facts(much like Fox News). We then have the somewhat more neutral Sky News(though often deliberately mispronounced by various right leaning commentators as 'Sly News'. We then have our somewhat bruised and battered Public Service Broadcaster with the BBC News. Hated by many on the right in both print and on the television. Then there's arguably further left leaning organisations like Channel Four News and Good Morning Britain. Everyone's got an opinion on the daily madness of news and often nonsense celebrity scoops. Too much, enough. Never truer words spoken.
Okay song, though I don't much like the video. It takes away from the song, for me. But anyhow, I'm only here because I saw them at OFF yesterday and I was blown away. Great vibe, kinetic energy and a terrific sound, even if New Order's lawyers might be calling for one of the tunes. You don't always expect an electronic pop act to be able to get a live sound to fill a field. And a three-piece too. Exactly the burst of energy, fun and top tunes the day needed. My discovery of the festival by a mile.

A great song for bobbing my head to the collapse of our Nation whilst no one does anything to stop it. It's got that Subdivisions essence and its got the tired, fearful, cynical hatred I've been feeling lately, its fuckin perfect. I can always count on you Nation of Language.
I saw someone mention Tucson in the comments? Is that where they’re from? Used to live there before we moved to Nashville. Great place. Great people. Great music.
The first Nod Out Lady album was amazing. But, now it's 2023 and this sounds really repetitive, again and again. I've moved asteroid- belt -lifting, bud- light- years- away from this pizza face kiddie band and way deep into thousands of much more deeper and intelligent bands from all over the world.... Time to get that job at Starbucks now, Ian, Aiden and the creepy other guy playing guitar-freebase jerky.
Infinite support for the band who very soon gonna rule the world.

This video is full of Easter Eggs and inside references. I love it. Fans are rewarded for paying attention! 🔥

I love all the references to their other songs in the names of the characters, shows and channels.

@2:22
You guys need session drummer 😛 Nice work!
Adam Green Screen 😅
temet nosce - memento mori amor. become unpredictable
Trying to put my finger on their vibe. Could've come straight out of the 80s.
I'm hearing Ultravox with a soupcon of a-ha.
Too New Yorky for me. I wish they'd knock that off and just be musicians.
What does this even mean? Haha
Wish they would up the tempo, there songs are too slow
