I'm 57 and I discovered this band just recently. It's so great. Sometimes I feel like being back in my youth days when I listen to their music. To me they are even better that all those bands from the 80's.
Decent ain't they I'm 53 kinda OMD ish I can't quite put my finger on it , but certainly better that 99% of the dross about these days, its always exciting and a pleasure to discover new talents no matter how old you get 😊
All of their songs catch my ear and I immediately feel them in my body. Later on I go and read the lyrics and the song opens up even further for me. Exquisite song writing.

Thank you, Nation, for taking me back. What a musically/lyrically talented band. Keep pushing! The traction they are getting is undeniable.
Checked them out when i read they were opening for LCD. These guys are damned good. Love this 80's vibe. ( 69 yr. old music lover, love Miles, Beatles, Cure, Bowie, Marvin Gaye, pretty much everything ).
This song is a new obsession, playing in my head when I’m in work, and otherwise. Not gonna lie, it’s a grower, much like all NOL songs for me, but at the end I’m a pure fanboy. Keep all of this up if you can. I can’t wait to see you live, I hope it will be soon
Also this video really compliments the song. The retro vibe is carried throughout. If it didn’t contain modern cars/buildings, it could pass as 40 years old. My god I can’t get enough of this band
I’ve already commented on this I know, but I’m in a bad state of depression right now. I played this with lyrics to express it to my wife, and the progression of the song, the lyrics and everything that comes with helped me convey what I was talking about and actually cry. Pathetic I know, but NOL helped me reconnect with a side of me that was dormant for a long time. This band have helped me more than they’ll ever know. The depth of their songwriting/musicianship is so valued. Love you all
I feel you my man. NOL has this special ability to unlock feelings that were stashed away or ones that you never knew you had. Sightseer has hit me recently and it's doing the same for me. It's one of those delayed obsessions, I've become completely entranced by the progression in the track. I wish you all the strength in dealing with your depression. Keep using music to help you find your voice. And I hope you find confidence in that voice - no one's honest experiences are pathetic :)
