Three months ago if you told me I was going to become obsessed with watching coins videos and searching for coin stores I’d tell you to pound sand. But here I am watching all of this gentlemen’s awesome videos 🤷🏼♂️
Well Michael that's one heck of an endorsement. Really appreciate your comment my friend. I got some really interesting subjects in the works. Hopefully you'll tune in for that. Thanks for watching. Keep stacking
Silver Joker I’m going to get some coins (mostly Morgan and peace dollars) that were passed down to me appraised this week and buy more silver! You’ve given me the silver bug and just in time I think! Ive learned a lot from you already my man thanks 😊 🙏🏼 peace ✌🏼
Silver joker is a baller!!! Love the content man . Appreciate the time it takes to make these amazing videos. Really great content for someone just getting into stacking.. great insight
Thanks SJ, for taking us all along. Nice purchases you made. Phil was so cool to let you film, in his shop. Keep producing these videos, and keep us up to date on what you are thinking with "junk" silver.
Very cool video!!! And nice of Phil to let you Philm! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Btw, I also like your approach and list. The Standing Liberties are beautiful, I focus much more on 1964s and pick only the least wear items. Thanks! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks Yankee Stacking. You have a solid strategy for stacking "junk silver". I try to stay focused like that but, I always give in to what's in front of me. Thanks for sharing. Keep stacking my friend
Hey! Found your channel searching "great American coin hunt Ohio" just looking for some basic info on the coin hunt and if there was anything in ohio. I HAVE FOUND a great channel with awesome advice on coins and bullion and you just seem like a great dude. I'll continue to support the channel and look forward to learning more about the hobby! You keep stacking, cause you've really inspired me to start making a stronger effort to put some actual money aside every paycheck 😉 Cheers from Cleveland!
Hey B W glad you tuned in. Yeah that great american coin hunt was a lot of fun even though I didn't really find anything. Thanks for the subb my friend. Keep stacking
Yeah Big Lorry, Phil is a great guy and his passion for what he does is infectious. No stack is complete without some constitutional silver in it. Thanks for watching. Keep stacking my friend
Just starting out with silver. Junk silver has been my favorite so far just to be able to look through those dates with my son who is eight and seems to be very interested in it. It was fun to watch what other people are finding.
Only a real stacker knows how much fun it is going into a coin shop and buying the junk silver. I never get tired of doing this. And I also find that going through some of the silver later is very relaxing. Someone tell me I'm not crazy!
SJ that 1953 P franklin half dollar is a semi key date franklin half. It's worth more than its melt value! It is the second lowest mintage of franklin half dollars, first is 1955 P!
Thanks for shooting the video the way you did and following your list. GREAT IDEA!! You are EASY TO WATCH.....Thanks for putting in the time behind the scenes to make Great videos. The coin dealer wins too....Love it Keep it going for us
I just subscribe to your channel and this is the first video I watched of yours. Anyone that explains the coin collecting process and I promote it I will always be a fan of. Keep up your good work. And I’ll keep watching.
Enjoy the trip with you today,, I like the way you write everything down you're going to get before you go,, that's pretty good idea I may have to start trying it. Thanks for sharing .. enjoyed the video!!
WOW Assuming $20 each for the mix of silver dollars, you got the rest of the junk for $10.55 per dollar. Incredible deal ! Great vid you are an inspiration
"assuming" .. 20 dollars for a Morgan in slicked damaged condition is not a good deal .. ever. 15 max. Past a certain point of circulation a morgan, eagle, half whatever is no longer collectible and is considered junk. You can throw it against a wall and not hurt it's value unless you're trying to sell to a 12 year old. It's silver content at that point is the only consideration.
@@jima7925 Was that to prove something? Lets round the 15.99 up to 16. And those coins are still getting above spot price. Like I said .. 15 max for a damaged / slicked coin. Still above silver value but it's still a nice coin whatever that's worth .. but 15 max for a damaged coin which is what a slick coin is out of key date / mint. There are other trusted sites who compete against apmex. I said 20 is not a good deal and anyone would agree .. not a bad deal, but not good by any means. I pick up AU for 20 all day long.
Nice pickup SJ. Enjoy all your videos . I'm working on filling a guardian house dime box of mercury dimes with square plastic tubes. Also trying to fill a monster box with silver eagles. I am so broke with these 2 projects at the moment.
Not "Broke!" my friend. "Heavily invested". As long as you're buying the Shiny Stuff you're going in the right direction. Also keep in mind, you don't have to get it all at once. Take your time. Spread your purchases out a little. Man you are going to have a nice nest egg when you're done. Thanks for watching. Keep stacking my friend
Another good video Joker. You always inspire me to spend money...….lol We have had good luck searching JFK halves this year. Almost 300 coins so far since Christmas. Keep Stacking...….
Thank you joker for sharing I want to start buying silver for future and grandkids I've been buying copies of coins so my grandkids can see the art in theem
Nice purchase. Provident has rolls of quarters for $108 and that seems to be a better deal than what my lcs is giving. Thanks for the video, I like these lcs videos.
Yeah I seen that Provident deal. It really is a good deal for an online seller. I thought about it. It's free shipping as well. Thanks for watching. Keep stacking my friend
I have been purchasing Silver rounds also, good to hear from someone else doing it. Thanks, plus who is playing the back ground music. Keep on stacking on !!
I wasnt a big fan of my LCS until I bought some 90% a week or 2 ago. It only cost me $11.82 after tax for $1 face value (10 Mercurys). I went and bought a set last Friday, 90% Kennedy half, Washington quarter, 2 Roosevelt dimes and 1 40% war nickel for $12.34 after tax. I think It was a good deal.
Sounds like a good deal to me considering most sellers are getting between $12.50 and $15.00 face. Stick with that store. Sounds like it's going to pay off. Thanks for watching my video. Keep stacking
I was wondering if you could have described the money negotiations you had to go threw on the coin for the different coins. That is one thing I would like to learn. I have no idea what you end paying and it looks like the deal was in cash. Is that the norm one can expect at a coin shop? Thanks
Excellent list and it's always good to stray a bit. What an incredible LCS my friend, stocked to the brim. Nice choice of "junk" constitutional. Can Never go wrong with that pickup.
Great video Joker, I really want to get into junk silver but I don’t have an LCS anywhere close to me. One day when I am out of town I’ll reference to this video.
Great video, just bought 1,000 90% silver quarters at a local pawn shop. If your new to stacking, how do you identify valuable quarters 1930-64? Love the videos, keep it up.
Another great video, Joker, very helpful, thanks! I haven't really been to a coin shop before so it helps to have an idea what to expect. Glad to see you're a fellow Buckeye, too! 614 here.

UA-cam knows I just went there yesterday. I met Phil, the owner, and bought my first ever silver. Now youtube suggests your video to me...lol I live right up the street from Evendale. That's crazy! Maybe I will see you in there some time.
I can remember stacking Walkers years ago for $3.00 each for really nice coins in fine condition or better. I don't think we'll ever see those days again of $5-$10 silver prices.
Loved the video SJ. I am a junk silver fanatic to the point that sometimes I forget to diversify! I just get a bug in my butt about paying the several dollar premium for ASEs. I will buy a monster box of ASEs to get them the cheapest possible when I have the cash to do so. I also do a lot of 40 percent because it really has a cheap silver price tag. The problem with 40 percent is that it takes up a bunch of storage room. I'm going to start getting rounds and bars for more diversification. What do you think about my strategy SJ?
2000 subscribers about a year ago, now at 9.12K.....plus one more. (me). Very relaxing video, as well as informative. Thanks for the info on how to buy junk silver.
Thanks for the subb my friend. Yeah when I got my first 100 subscribers I couldn't believe that many people were interested enough in my videos to want to see more. This is such a humbling experience. Thanks for watching. Keep stacking
that is a cool store, my local place is almost all graded collectors and they really look down on junk. Some times that means they can't be bothered to pull it out for me other times they just want it gone. depends on the day if I get a good deal or not lol
