I really like your intro. It's just the right length, a little funky music, and a love the question the cop is asking you. It's the best intro to any UA-cam channel. VINwiki is a close second.
Dan, had to pause the video at 8:50. To really, REALLY check the brake pad thickness, you have to pull the wheel. Sometimes the inner pad will wear more than an outer pad and vise versa. It could be binding caliper slides or a caliper piston that doesn't retract properly. I've even seen offset wear on a single pad. Uneven pad wear is a symptom of another problem. Also, please don't over torque your lug nuts/bolts. Over tightening them can stretch the wheel stud and cause the lug nut seat on the wheel to become deformed (mushroomed). You could lose a wheel while driving. This just happened to a family member because a local shop tightened the wheels with an impact instead of a torque wrench. Love the videos.
I would also check or replace your drive/serpentine belt. It's easy and inexpensive to do on most cars. A broken belt can leave you stranded on most cars (water pump/alternator).
What kind of tire inflator do you have? Mine needs to be screwed onto the stem and it's very annoying since it loses some air when trying to unscrew it off. Is there a name for the type of attachment that you have on yours?

Great video Dan. Very helpful tips
Great tips...👍👍
Tread depth is 3 x 3 - inner, middle, outer then 3 different areas around the tire.
Thanks again Dan....
I really wish you ‘Mericans would move to metric. What is 9/32nds? Just say 7mm!
No. Why can’t y’all learn fractions?
On the 458 can’t you check the brakes using a computer? I know on my 09 Ferrari, my mechanic plugs it into his computer to check the ceramic brakes.
Great tips !!!! Thank you
I'm all about last minute preparation! Lol leaving for Florida tomorrow

I just took my car on a roadtrip... to the racetrack!
To each his own. I believe in Chevron.
Peeing every 2-3 hours on a long trip sounds annoying lol
Proper hydration is important, chief.

Dan The Man These are trips for a road trip, not a Cannonball run.
