Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Valve. Dota 2 is played in matches between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently controls a powerful character, known as a "hero", who all have unique abilities and differing styles of play. During a match, players collect experience points and items for their heroes to successfully defeat the opposing team's heroes in player versus player combat. A team wins by being the first to destroy the other team's "Ancient", a large structure located within their base.

We need more marketable terrains
I personaly love Reef's edge along with Aurora. The underwater feel brings out the reflection of the aurora more. Not to mention the sound effects for sundown and sunrise are just unique
1:36 spring weather used to have falling pink leaves :( it was so beautiful, i remember if i stare at my lane for long alot of those leaves pile up. Sadly those effects were gone after TI9's battle pass release.
Those pink leaver are known as sakura
@@cymphony9798 as what i've known, sakura is a flower, not a leaf. Although the weather effect could either be a flower petal or just some pink leaves.

maybe was it a bug on their part of development? It's so strange because overgrown empire (TI9) doesn't have this. It could have been unintentional, try mailing them (Gaben specifically, since steam support is ass)

I actually like this the most aswell, glad i have both the garden and the ash weather. I tinkered alot with weather and i love ash and pestilence the most

Damn dude, somehow I missed the Immortal Gardens map from the 2016 Battle Pass. Aside from that I have all of these! The DotA 2 map is so gorgeous. It really makes LoL and other MOBAs look like shit.

true and LoL in general is shit. This is coming from someone who has been playing League for multiple seasons now.
i missed immortal garden and very regret about it. after they release sanctum of the divine straight get one for myself. both is great very similar. somehow i think sanctum of the divine a little bit better.

You know valve can earn MORE money if they market the weather and terrain alone. Very visually stunning and sets the bar high for other MOBAs. Very beautiful.

Wanted it, but I also don't want to spend thousand of dollar on BP to get it. Wish Valve know what to expect for exclusive item. I mean better sell it like arcana instead of boost on BP level to get it.
It's so sad some of these are unobtainable, i'd really like a new chest that have maps on it, or something like that would be awesome.
Weather effects are tradable, there is a reddit page about trade offers for weather.

It's hard to recognise in game just how beautiful the terrain packs are. I don't think I'll ever pick a favourite. Sad I missed out on the Immortal Gardens one, and I haven't got Kings New Journey yet.

Immortal Gardens Harvest is what I use exclusively. I used to leave weather on random but I don't like pestilence and sirocco

@@cmd.systemreset Well I don’t really understand why, channel is arguably the best Dota2 content out there, and is kinda dying. Only thing we can do is watch videos and like them to help out, since it affects how much they get payed.
I missed those times in dota1 when we could change weather, river's color and courier for free.

@@hexmymind yes i found it thanks. But in those old times we could change these stuff in the game. Like inside the game when you were bored of red river color you could just change it to any RGB color you like. Or change the weather like -weather rain :D

i wish valve will let all terrains be available for market.
They won‘t do that tho, in like ever. Bc the terrains are one thing in the battlepass ppl keep buying, and the price for the terrain through the bp is around 75€ and if it was marketable the price would probably be around 15-20€ so they would lose all the ppl buying battlepass for the new terrain, it’s the same thing with every other battlepass exclusive item. They need this exclusivity for ppl to buy the battlepass

It's always baffled me that Valve use such an ugly fade in/fade out effect. If they had an alternate style that just removed all the fading elements I'd be willing to pay like £5 per terrain I've skipped.

Could anyone please educate me on the current (approximate) weather prices? The trading forums have ran dry over the years and now it's nothing but 3 players trying to change you $5 per effect, which surely can't be correct

Harvest and Ash are the best ones, tho harvest only seems to work with the default map
I have ash, it looks cool but after a while it makes the game too dark. Like you won't notice if it's day or night by visuals
the aurora weather effect is gone recently.....those seaweed like aurora by the river at 1:29 is gone

It would be really good if maps had customs creeps on junlge and lanes. Is there any mod maybe ?
I don't know if the custom creeps are marketable, but there are about 4 or 5 custom creeps, I think, correct me if I'm wrong though.
