He got a bag regardless bc his cover ability.. just might not be in Chicago. Every other team especially playoff contenders will pay him off potential of catching ints bc he already top in coverage and fits any scheme. Smith git his bag despite being overweight and struggling and out played by sandborn. If rbs weren't getting dogged.... Monty would've got bag too.
He shoulda already been a pro bowler. If he was a loud mouth or a super team that he woulda caught the bias for him to be a pro bowler.
I agree 100% Jaylon has always been a solid corner but this year has been by far his best work.

JJ has been the ONLY point of consistency in the Bears Defensive backfield and the best defensive player they have. It's a certainty, he'll be playing elsewhere next season. For now, we're witnessing brilliance stemming from his play and the play of the other DBs, the overall talent level of which is among the best in the league, where that synergy is taking root.
Glad JJ and the Bears were able to agree on a solid extension.
