#33 is a difference maker. Very good hips, feet and instincts to consistently stay in phase. Patient at the los in press. Good timing and pop in his hands when jamming guys. Good, thick build and solid length. Great physicality at the catch point. Smart: reads receivers hands to consistently make plays on the ball. Ultra confident and competitive: perfect cb demeanor. He wants all the smoke. I think the long speed is average-ish for the position. Can be a half-step late at times to drive on the ball in zone. Walks that line between being physical and grabby really well but can sometimes attract the unwanted attention of our less discerning, more flag-happy zebra friends. I do need to see him wrap guys up more consistently: he’s a little too content at times just to throw a shoulder in there and call it good. I’m not too concerned he doesn’t have the interception production or the high PFF coverage grades. He’s been stuck on a terrible defense that couldn’t get pressure on a quarterback to save their lives. Surround him with better players and coaches and you’ll see him elevate his game. He’s a red chip player all day, with the ceiling to be a very good #1 and a great #2.
Im be honest. It's a draw in my opinion. Both players fought a battle. No tds on Jaylon but yardage and at the same time Johnson had a lot of PBUs and incompletions when thrown to.
I think AJ won but J.J didn’t play bad. Did well against one of the best WRs in the league if not the best this year. With 12 targets he should be getting at least 6 catches and the Chicago defence is not built enough to support their defensive backs. Hope he stays in Chicago.
Eagles including Hurts was out of their game on this one. As far as an offense is concerned. But Hurts showed resolve and did his thing at the end, despite getting hurt.
A career high is not a draw or a loss by aj at all stop hating on my birds cuz our offense is the best, aj does this with less than 10 targets a game also, he would have even more it just depends on how far jalen can keep getting better, but still 9 for 181 is no joke lol in that weather
I remember jaylon saying he was one of the best cbs in the league. Boi sit down and wait to get traded. Next draft bears are getting a cb. And trading Johnson. Calling it
@@christophermedearis3044 literally everytime they threw a deep ball Jaylon had no idea where the ball was. AJ had like 150 yards this game lol
what a battle. this is beautiful football. physical. clean. elite.
I think johnson been playing like a top 10 cb this season and this performance is gonna put him in the spotlight he deserves

Year later, he's arguably the best CB in the league
@@luigiusa7976 Best cb rating this year
A year later people are trying to say he’s had one good year, or he’s overated and he misses the top 100 somehow
Johnson played I think as good a game as you can ask a corner....AJ is a top 5 receiver this year other then 2 plays JJ did what he was supposed to do

He was holdin AJ arm almost every pbu AJ jus wasn’t complainin
@@semajworrell9343 no he wasn’t, and they let them play as long as you turn your head to make a play on the ball it’s not gonna get called
Let’s be real he still had almost 200 yards lol only reason he didn’t allow a td was because of brisker. He played his ass off tho 🤝🏾

Jaylon Johnson 33 🔐💪🏾 The future is bright.
Absolute old school dog fight. What an exchange.
Much respect to Johnson but AJ is like that 💪🏾🦅🦅💯💯💯
Imagine if AJ got 15+ targets every game or even 10+ …. Literally just gotta keep giving him chances and he’ll come thru
