Got a 7-10 in a sanctioned league, got a patch for it. Teammates said throw as hard as I can at one pin and pray for a bounce out, it worked! Coolest bowling moment for me, only a 180 average bowler. Good day everyone!
3:45 I really wanted to see how 'Righty' Simonsen threw that Back-up ball, two-handed. From way the heck over on the left side! So I slowed the playback speed down to .25x... Unfortunately, because he wasn't fully in the picture frame until after the release I didn't get to see the approach. Fortunately, I got your great Narrative, but you sounded soooo Stoned...🤤😉 and, at 4:00 I could hear the Announcers sounding like the swine that Jesus sent "Legion" into👹👹👹, going into the sea. 😳
I made the 7-10 the first year I was bowling at age 15. Unfortunately, no one was watching, so I didn't get a sanctioned patch. 36 years later, I still haven't done it again 😂.
That is an INCREDIBLY LUCKY shot, even for a pro, who is adult and can power it!! How old were you? Because you were probably slinging a very light ball, 6-7 lb. perhaps, which doesn't move a pin weighing
As a professional bowler I agree... those were all impossible... and I'm glad you CAPITALIZED IMPOSSIBLE just to emphasize how true it is... and not just fucking clickbait.
A few of these aren't even made like they are suppose to..they are just bouncing them out the pit and got lucky..the 4-7-10, you have to slide the 4 pin over unto the 10...same goes for the 6-7-10 where you slide the 6 into the 7 pin...not get lucky by chucking at it and catching a great lucky break...and some of them are hardly impossible...
There is always a "luck" factor to picking up a split. Two circular objects colliding with each other will not react the same way each time. That's variance. You could catch any pin in the correct area, and due to variables, the pins spin in an undesirable way.
Warren Mitchell once converted a 7/10. Nothing off a backboard or sideboard. Just nicked the outside of the 7 (or 10) at about 100 mph. The pin slid standing up into the spare? The alley owner witnessed it and paid for Warren's game. Imagine that! 50¢ents!!
Impossible, and yet you have video proof it is possible. Brilliant! ...and Chris Barnes' 4-6-7-9? I once left a Greek Church (4-6-7-9-10) in the 11th frame of an event. Out of frustration I did an underhand two-handed roll from off the approach. Played it like a youngster trying to move the ball with body english... Clipped the 6/10... 6 caught the 9 then slid over and took out the 4/7.... Even had it witnessed by Mr 900, Glenn Allison on the next pair... He gave me a quizzical look 😀
At one time I was a pretty good bowler and I could spare more than half of the splits I made . There was one time that I rolled the ball down the alley and I was left with the 4-6-7-10 split . I decided to hit it on the left hand side and to hit the 4-7 pin and hoping the 4 pin would slide over and hit both pins . I rolled my ball down the alley and the ball hit the 4-7 side . The 4 pin slid over , knocked down the 7 pin , touched the 10 pin and the 10 pin was left there rocking back and forth and never fell down . I even stomped on the alley to no avail ! ARRRGGG ! That was the closest ever I came to sparing the 4-6-7-10 split !
@@wingracer1614 it was a really bad shot by me on my strike shot and then the pins just fell so crazy like dominos. I had never seen that left before nor since.
I converted the 4-6-7-8-10 Greek Church once. But not in League play, it was just during practice. _"We talkin' about practice, man. What are we talkin' about? Practice? We talkin' 'bout practice, man??"_ --Allen Iverson 😀
Professionally? It’s hard enough to LEAVE it! But I think there’s a conversion on YT using a 6- or 8-lb. ball with a huge hook on it! It mighta been a case of trying and trying until it was made and put on video.
I was hoping to see that, too. I picked it up a couple months ago in league. My ball barely touched the 6 and it just tipped over left and bounced up with enough momentum that it lightly tapped the 4. I can't believe there was enough umph to get that four down. Super cool experience, though.
@SuperJ213 I've picked it once, I was just messing around with a friend in her home center. Had the front 8, had a crowd building behind us, lol... left that in the 9th. Threw my ball hard at 6, it bounced out of pit and took out 4 pin. I couldn't believe it to be honest. 😂🤣
Professional bowlers like you see in this video bowl on the hardest oil configurations in the entire world. Everything on the lane is designed in a way to make bowling as tough as possible for those who hook the ball. It’s like asking a pga golfer to never hit a sand trap or water hazard.

"That's the 6-7-10, you'll pick up that spare the same day my hair starts falling out!"
I got two practice hard for bowling. Thank you for saying that I’ll try my best to win this.
Anthony Neuer's 7-10 when Randy called it is a fantastic start to another split video
I think my best ever conversion was a 2-10.
My best conversion was a 4-7-10

My most consistent split spare I made is the dime store (5-10).
1:12 Nice Derp
My dad tells a story of me hitting a 7-10 as a little kid. Luck shot.
Wait u or your dad
@@hillbilly07928 I made the 7-10 but my dad remembers is and tells the story. I was young and remember the story more than the event.

Wow.
i bowled from 8yo to 45 and only two splits i could not convert; greek church and big four. frustrating.
Walter Ray Williams's Big Four conversion. 😮
I converted the 6-7-10 split in front of my oldest brother and neighbor. I was 12 at the time.
I made the same split that you did and I am 11
I wonder what the odds of getting a 4-6-7-9 split are. I've never seen one of those before 😮
I would like to know the weight of the ball they use?
Maximum 16 lbs.

Not a person on the planet that can throw a bowling ball over 40 mph. Your estimate is just a bit off. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂😂

What about the 4, 6, 7, 10 called the big four
Walter Ray Williams converted it and it’s on YT.
None can compare to Walter's Big 4 conversion!

Omg!
Once on a sport shot in a tournament I left the
2-3-10. I took a step back like what in the world is that? I picked it up too.
How do you even leave that? Making it is on the easier side but leaving it seems damn near impossible
@@wingracer1614 it was a really bad shot by me on my strike shot and then the pins just fell so crazy like dominos. I had never seen that left before nor since.
Norm is wrong when he says you can’t get enough hook to pick up the 2-8-10 with a backup ball with one hand. I’ve done it several times in league.
I've done it and my backup ball is nowhere near as good as some 1 handers
Not to brag but… I hit a 1 2 4 8 10 last week in league 😌
Thats not that hard
washouts are easier to convert but much more punishing if you miss

I have a league patch for 7-10

@@GregoryZucco-z6m Awesome! I just picked it up again yesterday (Memorial Day) while practicing with some friends. That makes two!
Most of those are not too bad. I picked up both the 4-7-10 ans 6-7-10 few weeks apart in the same league
有沒有7.10號瓶打掉的解法😂😂😂
I know of a 4-6-10 conversion that you haven’t covered
Billy Welu, Championship Bowling, 1964, around 38 and a half minutes in the telecast during his match against Vern Downing, Welu converts the 4-6-10.
@@sullyrox Yup!

only 7, 10 pin left shall be deemed impossible
The best part of the clips from the early 2000s or earlier is no one is bowling like a fucking 6 year old with two hands.
lol
Free to express your opinion, but I’ve never seen a 6 year old throw a hook with 2 hands like Jason Belmonte.
Someone needs to look up the word impossible
…and “under-rated”
All I can say is that they are pretty lousy bowlers to leave all those splits

I don't care who you are to make those splits you need luck. Proof hit it three out of four or five out of six never happen.
If you notice on All of these shots, the pin cushion is put down. NOT Legal.
womp womp. what you gonna do about that?
So in your eyes impossible means maybe 😂 well it is bowling and not the super bowl😂
Not impossible if they were made lmao
nothing is an IMPOSSIBLE splits to make cause i have made them all in league and on the pba tour in the best spare shooter there is
so not actually impossible then
You talk Way too much, Of course i am NEVER subscribing
That and some of the clips repeat.
Why do we have to have a narrator? Just play the video.
Zzzzzzzz
