I was dating a Christian guy, my first date in 3 years.
He invited me to his house before dinner to drink wine. I said no.
I met up with him at the restaurant.
When he met me at the restaurant, he said he needed some alone time with me, before dinner watched a movie with my head on his shoulder. I said this is our second date,
He said his Church agreed with him for dating in this way.
Hi...create your boundaries and stick to them. That way you won't have to 2nd guest yourself when someone proposes an action/opinion.
Definitely would second guess his motives. He doesn't know u and already what you in his house. And for him to mention it's ok to his church gives me weird vibes. Like is that supposed to out me at ease?

Another sign of being led on I believe is when you ask them a direct question needing a direct response but they give you an indirect reply that is surface level. Time and Time again.

Patience is the key. I know a young couple who got engages after a few weeks. The man had never dated though, he spent his life serving God and waiting for God to move. He was patient with the Lord before he ever met her. There's your patience.
I, on the other hand, am learning to live for God late in life. I am learning patience in the relationship. I've dated some people. I need patience in the dating relationship due to my life experience, for me. But if it's who God has for me, he won't mind. He won't mind at all :)

What if your with someone that says they’re happy in the relationship and they see a future with you but at the same time say things like “a person could be here one day and gone the next. so you never really know but that’s why you cherish every moment you have with that person.”?
I have said things like that before. It wasn't so much about how much I cared for the other person, I just am learning from God how we don't know the future, only He does. He will never leave but we can't hold onto anything here on earth too tightly, it could be gone tomorrow. We can only worship God and not let anyone become an idol and appreciate every moment we do get with people.
