Beyond signs from God, I strongly encourage you to: 1. Learn to listen/how to hear God's voice. (Ask Him to show you how.) 2.. Fall in love with God. 3. Hand over to God your desire for a partner, and wait on Him, and He will give you His best plan for your life. Expect it to be beyond your wildest dreams, and then some.

I knew right after meeting my husband that I was going to marry him. First by realizing he was everything on my prayer list that I had written probably 6 weeks prior. The next day after I met him I called a friend while at the airport and told her about him. When I hung up with her I texted her and told her I was going to marry him. I had never felt that before. I let him do the pursuing per God’s direction and we married that next year. He was literally what I wrote on the list. Number one was, Preacher, called of God (not self appointed) and two, educated. He was an assistant pastor then and was working on his masters of divinity and is now a chaplain in the army as well as Lead Pastor. This December will be 14 years married. I married 3 days before my 27th birthday.
I believe God has a will and it's our job to follow it :) But his sovereign will includes our free choices. So I basically agree I would just say it differently to be more theologically precise since God is sovereign :)
AMEN🙏🏾 If He told us WHO to marry, then He might as well tell us what to wear, where to go...and the list goes on. If this is the case, FREE WILL is out the door! I believe that He "presents" people to us; however, ultimately, WE have to make the final decision in terms of being with this person or not.
He confirmed it to me through his word. Multiple times. He first allowed me to meet aan overtaken by Satan and showed me how to obey when he says no. That man broke my heart but when God said no...I disobeyed at first but finally did. For a year I seeked god even through the heartbreak and then prayed for him to turn me into a wife and mother and bring me a man he wants for me...this man showed up unexpectedly, it was actually a man I had already known. I asked God to confirm him because part of me already knew....god confirmed him emotionally, spiritually and biblically. But now, we wait, on his timing.

Peace! If you don't have peace, but confusion then you're probably living your will instead of His! (A friend asked me if he should marry a girl, I asked do you have peace, he said no, (I already knew he didn't) so I told him no, and he married anyway. They had a child together, but then she divorced him! If you ask a Christian friend their opinion, unless they have ulterior motives, maybe listen to what they say.😉) At 26 I'd never had a girlfriend, but I just knew surely God would give me a Soprano, & we'd be on the road singing in churches, & spreading the gospel using our talents! Back then I could still sing soprano myself, but of course primarily sang tenor, & just knew God's will had to be in music! (Umm, I run sound at a small church, & sing once in awhile, so kinda, I guess?!🤔 Now I barely make it to high tenor, so there's the "use it or lose it" message right there!😢😩) I found myself talking to my pastor, who told me to join the singles group at my church, which I did, but as an introvert, on one occasion, I drove separately to a members house, everyone else rode a small bus together, & while everyone was inside having a prayer meeting, & stuff, I laid out a blanket on the cold ground, & while looking up at the stars I said "God I'm so tired of being alone, & can't stand it anymore, so I'll take whoever you want for me, I give up on guessing, or searching!" "PLEASE!!" It was only days later I called the only contact I had to ask what the singles were doing, but she gave me another number to call, cause she wasn't coming, & maybe the other girl knew!? I called & we spoke for a couple of hours, so I asked if she liked movies, & would like to go eat, because I love my uncle, but would like to have someone else to do things with, so we paid our own way, & just went out for two people to have something to do! We went back to her apartment, & surprisingly to us both we found ourselves holding hands while watching TV. (I looked down & there it was, but I don't remember ever reaching for her hand, or who did it, it just was!!) Next day we went to Church together, went back to her place, & told each other there was something we had to tell each other, so she told me to go first, & I told her that I couldn't explain it, but I had such a peace with her, & it was like we had known each other all our lives, & I knew I could spend the rest of my life with her, so then she told me that during service she had a vision of herself walking down the isle in a wedding dress! One non date, "date," Church the next day, & just like that we knew we were going to be married, & now in around 3 weeks (May) we will have mutually not killed each other for 27 yrs!😂🤣💘🫂💞 Seriously, give it all to God, don't pursue your own understanding, but also be willing to live with the fact that that person will be who you need, not who you think you wanted, & may even look or sound funny, can't sing a note, drive you crazy sometimes, & quite often argue with you, but if they are in love with the Lord, willing to work side by side as one equally yoked in Christ, then they are absolutely worth becoming one with!! Just remember, when it does happen the "D" word should be looked upon as, & never used, like people treat the "C" word!! Even joking about divorce is a cancer to marriage, & a couple must not entertain the thought, as marriage is a lifetime decision, & divorce shouldn't even be a consideration!! This is why getting equally yoked is so very important!! Watch the movie "Old Fashioned" my wife & I love that movie! (Don't care if people say it's slow, cause it's true, & real life is kinda slow!🤭 Just like waiting for her was murder, yet suddenly 27 yrs have gone by! So now I've been married 1 year longer than I was alive unmarried!😉) Oh, & please wait! I was 26, she 29, & we were both virgins, so we had no comparisons, were awesome for each other, & didn't need to look at any other greener grass!😉 Sad these comments have to be so short, (I know this isn't short, but sure could be longer, cause introverts can type out more than they like to speak!😁) cause God has taken us down a faith road involving selling everything, & living in a 34' motorhome, which has been such a deeper learning experience in trusting Him as in where's the $ coming from, health stuff, etc..., but all I can say in this limited comment, is He has provided even before we knew there was going to be a need, & He is wonderful!! Finally, Disney/Hallmark/Hollywood, is a lie, & marriage isn't all sun rays, happily ever after, prince & princess stuff, it is messy, & great, but always remember to let tomorrow take care of tomorrow, while trusting He's got this, & you don't need to even imagine how life should or may go, but just live out His will daily dying to self!!
Reading the comments, which made me remember my wife's friend who's fiancee was killed, and she remained single until her 50's, but it was apparently a good match when it finally happened! God has plans for us, but we do have free will to let Him be on the throne, or we can act like children who just want to blame someone for the decisions we made, and never acknowledge responsibility, cause being a victim removes our guilt for our own sins, which is what everyone is trying to do today!! You can die to self, and your free will can tell God He rules, or you can use your free will to hold the reigns of life, and blame Him for not turning you into a robot, which then you'd shake your fist at God for not letting you be you!! Trying to put God in a catch 22 just so you can feel superior to the creator of life, is so stupid, and that truly is what is BS!! There's no cookie cutter, and no certain way life has to be, so why does one die before being born while another dies at 110? Why is one abused, while another is treated like a princess? Why do some have an 80 yr anniversary, while another never married? No one can know the answer, but turning to God, sincerely, has a 100% better result than being bitter, and trying to be your own god!! We were made in God's image, but most spend their lives trying to make a god in their image, which really makes as much sense as worshiping a carved stick, or a golden calf made by man's hands! My god wouldn't do such and such, well of course not, cause your god isn't real!! When one finally surrenders to the will of God, it really does give a peace you'll never understand trying to blame, while being a victim, and calling truth BS just because control is something you just can't give up, but be real, it's not very comforting is it?! Get real, acknowledge your guilt for sin, tell Jesus you're sorry for the part you played in His being sacrificed, but you thank Him for willingly dying for those sins that you should have been punished for, but there's nothing you could have done to be made worthy!! Praise Him for this gift, Thank the Father for giving His Son, and ask for the comforter Holy Spirit to guide your life till you are called home! Mean it, then allow God control, and you'll have a more abundant life that will be more fulfilling than sitting around asking why, and accusing God for everything! Most things you won't care about anymore, that you think is so important, while you're trying to win an argument against the creator of all things with a punny human mind! Goodness knows you didn't come up with your arguments on your own, and you certainly aren't original, so now you just have to figure out why you're following the same path without any more in depth understanding than the billions who came before you saying the same stuff?!

(There's one accuser of the brethren, so this guy may need to ponder who's side he's really on!?) I was really considering never leaving anymore comments, but your reply was like an answer to a message in a bottle floating around for weeks, and getting plucked from the sea at just the right time, and I'm glad it blessed you! @@em77775 that's what you have to do, but then step aside, and have no expectations! (Other than being someone who loves God, of course, and real love, not just that they can put on a good show!) Let God do it all, although if your church has a singles group, or a Sunday school get involved, cause it's not up to you, but I don't think He's into mail delivery by drone at our home!? 🤔 Although I guess stranger things have happened, but most likely it'll be out in public?🤗😄 Another piece of advice is just because you see someone you don't particularly like physically, (face isn't exactly what you hoped for) but they have a good spirit, love the Lord then don't ignore them! My wife of 27+ yrs is no beauty, and she'd tell you so, (and she didn't particularly look at me and swoon) cause I love long dark hair, and hers was dark, but it was shorter than mine at the time, cause she had somehow gotten lice and her Mom cut it off to kill it, so it looked like a boy's cut when we met!😳 But after that first non date, date the love between us was amazing, and something given by God! I know everyone can't be the same, but for us I watched her parents' honeymoon video, and one had the camera on a balcony filming the other at the pool below, and that's pretty much how their marriage was, so I told my wife that's not how we were going to be, and since we've been together I went on a week long mission trip to Mexico, and there's been a few nights of being apart for one reason or other, but in the nearly 28 yrs we've known each other we've been apart maybe 2 weeks worth of time. (Not talking about going to work type stuff, but being out of town, not together 24 hrs, kinda stuff!) Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all the rest will be added, so don't seek the relationship, but leave it to Him, at the same time when it's in front of you don't get in the way with expectations, or forcing your will, and wants on what God is trying to give you!! Then when given what you asked for, it is a decision for life becoming one flesh that can't be separated! Can you see how beautiful that statement is, and reflective of what God wants with a relationship with us, when He says He's a jealous God, and will not share us with a harlot world?! My wife and I have never had to question our faithfulness, because we are always together, and that's why God wants us to pray unceasingly, because if He is always on our minds we can't be of the world, just in it! 🤗🥰 May the Lord bless you, and provide His equally yoked servant unto you!

Hey, Mark, I met this guy at my job who I can't seem to get out of my mind and heart. We hit it off the first time we met and have slowly formed a meaningful friendship, we have both shown each other that we are interested in each other romantically through our body language. I really do like him, and I noticed that he is unlike any other man that I have ever been friends or acquaintances with, I have a bad past with men, so I feel uncomfortable around most, but I feel so at ease when I'm around him. Can you please pray that God blesses this relationship in holy union if it is his will
In my past I was most encouraged when I had grandmas praying for me. I mean old people who became like grandmas to me. They knew what I was going through because of maybe something I shared with them while at church.

I am a young woman, since I was little I said that I would never get married since I come from a toxic and abusive family, now that I'm an adult, I think that maybe getting married isn't a bad idea, but I still panic about it. I don't want what I experienced as a child to repeat itself Lately I've gotten a lot of this type of content on UA-cam, I've met several guys but I keep running away from it . I don't know how or what to do about it
You need to learn to give people a chance. When you meet someone take a look at his family dynamics - how does he treat his Mum and Dad, how do his parents treat each other. No family is perfect, but if they seem respectable then give him a chance. You will marry his family as well as him. Go out to a restaurant with him, how does he treat waiting staff? Polite or ignores? When he goes onto a shop, how does he treat Sales Assistants? Does he like children and animals. At the end of the day, is he kind, to himself, to you and to others.
I want to meet the one God has for me. I just turned 40 and I am still waiting. Its difficult for me to believe that I will find that person sometimes.
When the one comes, confirmed by God, but you find that this person is not ready for you, they still live and practice sin, and is not spiritually mature. I just had to let the person go. Painful, but we can miss our soulmate by the decisions we make in our past and present. Don’t be afraid to stay single if the one he shows is not in align with the Lord.
Well... God will not give His faithful child to a sinner. Whatever you think might have been a God's confirmation that this person is or was the "one" is not actually from God. You were just carried away by your feelings and the devil took advantage of it. The Bible says there is no link between light and darkness. God will not contradict His Word and allow His precious child to go and suffer in the hands of an unrepentant sinner in the name of marriage!!! Think about it and relax your mind. You didn't loose any soul mate. The right "one" is on the way coming and then you will know and understand that what God give comes with joy, not with sorrow. God bless you abundantly!

I was not carried away by emotions like some may assume, but I understand why someone would think that way without knowing the entire back story. Because I was not carried away by emotions, I could walk away and choose Christ over a person through careful consideration and prayers.
@@jun6017 Sometimes God will expose that person to you even if they are not ready! Sometimes God MAY use you as a vessel to help bring that person to the light. Does that mean you just loose time "waiting on a person?" Not really... BUT IF WE KNOW AND FEEL they are the one then Don't give up so quick. Sometimes God gives us the exposure to keep us focused and locked in because he knows we may wander. God also prunes and mature us further during the waiting process. Sometimes God needs to clear the path, break soul ties, etc on the other side! IF that person IS the one, no one else will measure up so just be patient and keep trusting God! When you know...you KNOW....wink

Its a weird world we live in. I dont know who to trust anymore. The first dude I married was a complete jerk. The second one is nice and caring and we are expecting our first child together. They say marriages are made in heaven but I don't know what the future holds. I believe in destiny and luck now more than anything else.
I feel you. I first met this guy late last year and took a liking in him but I didn't think too much about it. I then met him again earlier this month and I think l really like him for real. We normally meet in groups because we have mutual friends and sometimes when he visits my church. I don't know how I can show him that I like him and I hope he likes me too. We hardly talk for a long time because we are always around people so it's hard for me to tell. He invited me to his church I'm not sure if he was just being friendly or what but I told him I'll go one day. I woul love to visit his church however, since he frequent our church we might cross paths. I told some of my friends that I like him and they encouraged I initiate group outings and invite him but I'm scared. I just had to say it to someone so I'll just leave the comment here. God does not force you to be with anyone neither will He entice you with anyone..Only demons and the devil entice....If you are enticed to be with the wrong person who Satan has planed for you, remember marriage is forever you could loose your salvation along the way through seduction or go into great suffering... I have been on this part that's why I tell you...please be very careful...pray for the Lord to reveal who this person is to you...He did with mine, and it turned out she was of the devil, though I knew she was not a genuine Christian but because of the dream that I PRESUMED WAS FROM GOD, I looked passed her reasoning... Till the Lord showed me...The devil pairs Christians to his children and a very effective way to destroy someone... Be careful please I suffered emotionally for a year plus..please pray hard concerning this

Actually ...biblically, many times the woman is the one required to make the move. However, whether it's the man or the woman making the move, it should not be a chase where you're running down a man or a woman who is clearly running away. But Biblically, often times the woman has to make the move.
@@night3angel not Biblical answer. Isaac asked someone to go and find a wife for him. Iacob served his father in law years for both wifes. Never a Christian women should act desperately. We need to trust God and his timing plus do our part, which is to pray for it, work on our flaws and emotionally getting ready as well as financially.
@@ana-maria448 I'm not sure why you believe a woman making the move is desperation. Once she is making the move according to God's will, it is not. Based on your supposition, Ruth (that famous love story everyone speaks about) was acting desperately and out of God's will. A woman making a move is not desperation. Same way a man making a move is not desperation, once they are moving in God's will. Also note, Rebekah had to leave where she was to go to Isaac. Her family asked for time and she said...she will go right away. Is that desperation? What is being taught about the man always going out is not biblical. And is based of off one scripture that says "he who finds a wife." But when you look at the original definition for the Hebrew word used, it does not mean what we assign to it.
Funny how this has come up while I was just in prayer to the Lord about it. I’ve been liking this guy for a whole year and I even had to go through a 11 months with no contact with him, so I was just trusting in God that I’ll see him again, which I did. Ever since I met him and have been praying to God, I’ve felt like he’s the one, but have of course gone through doubt. God put him back into my life again this month and I saw him again and now I am indeed in contact with him, but I’m still confused at times with wether or not he’s the one, so thank you for this making this video ❤️ God bless.

I'm so glad to hear this. Theres a guy at church who a few friends are trying to get me interested in. I can't stand him. They keep saying "maybe God will change your mind". I think that's just foolish. I've had a few run in with him and he's not a person I care to let in my life. I have been praying and God has given me peace in staying away from him.
Have you read/watched Pride & Prejudice - Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy really disliked each other when they first met. She grew to like and understand him over time.
For most of my life I've been waiting, praying, looking, trusting, being faithful to the things of God, learning, growing, working, being disciplined and yet nothing. At a point this year I did give up. I remember telling someone if God wants me to get married let him bring the man or else just leave me alone and then, only days after that, God revealed the man to me and not only that...from 100 0f miles away, he confirmed that revelation through the youngman at the exact same moment he had revealed it to me. Now we're going steady, it's clear where we're going. He just asked my Pastor's permission to pursue me last week. My point is, God never fails as long as we don't lose hope.

I am 24 years old going on to 25 next month. I've never been with anyone. I am looking to finish my bachelor's degree a year from now God willing. I am in a position where I have a desire to be with someone, but it is not in my top 5 priorities, and I feel like I have a lot going on which makes me think it is not time until I finish my program which I can be wrong about. I don't have a crush on anyone at the moment, but there is a girl in my Bible study who is 2 years younger than me that I have been knowing for a few months, and I only had a few conversations with her in total. She seems friendly, enjoys working with others, and wants to do something similar to me in the future. Apart from godliness, I look for someone I will be good friends with. In church they talk a lot about marriage and place a big emphasis on how couples serve together in different ministries. Is it reasonable to just look for someone who is very similar to me? Before and not too long ago, I did not really focus on that aspect.
Think of yourself in 10 years and try to imagine what you wish you would have done. Of course pray but be wise :) I can't answer this, it's a personal decision :)
All I can say is pray! Let God bring things about. Ask, and listen, be faithful and wait. God knows you better than anyone. When He bestows gifts, they're perfection. Leave the details to Him.
Also the exact same situation, 23, one year left. Ive been focused on the Lord for the past 2 years haven’t cared for girls. However, this girl from bible study wont go away. We chat in person and share so many similar viewpoints on politics, the bible, christian living. I even able to mess with her jokingly. We’ve share memories in mission trips. She’s a leader, so am i. But at the end of the day im asking, why doesn’t this girl go away? I dont want to ignore her, but i also have the feeling to find one later. Idk man.
I am not sure to be honest. I do have a desire, but it is not something I am eager for, and it is not in my top 5 for priorities, there are other things more important right now. You can keep praying and ask for guidance/clarity on this. Maybe she can become a really good friend or even be the one God has for you but it might not be time.

Thanks for sharing Mark! I have been waiting on God for marriage. I appreciate what you said about obeying the teachings of Jesus from the heart. Especially since Christ is the head of the man in the family order. It has been so restful and peaceful understanding it this way because God’s love is pure and perfect. I think I’m called to be that single woman who cares for the things of the Lord, to be holy in body and spirit. It’s by the will of God through Christ, and I sense God is preparing me for marriage. Your video was on time and confirmed some things for me!
This video showed up on my feed just as I came back from seeing the woman God has told me will be my wife. We started off as complete strangers over a year ago, only seeing each other casually, but even then I had a strong sense God was telling me that she was my wife. Ive had 3 pastors and my strongest spiritual mentor tell me they felt it too along the journey and now she and I are friends. I can tell she feels the same pull as I do and were just waiting on Gods timing but this was a great confirmation for me.
The woman I've got on my spirit is so much younger than me and incredibly beautiful....almost impossible. We have each other's number and barely chat, but the spirit led me to go to the local spot I met her at last night. She was there and has been non talkative around me. She just had moms die and has to deal with all that. Today walking back from getting my mail at our local box I saw her (we live in same neighborhood). The timing was wild as my dog took a long time to go before I went and the post office shoved this package in my box that took an extra minute to wedge out. She was walking to her ride with to go food, so a second earlier or later we wouldn't have passed. Was 5th time seeing her in person. Confused of course but just having faith. Hey Mark. I have a testimony about the one that God has planned for me. She's from my work. She's so sweet. But this time, this love is pure from my heart. No other negative intentions. But it seems she don't get it or maybe God haven't tell her about this. God keeps giving signs by signs. Then everyday I pray by asking God about the signs, and now it is so clear that she is the one. Every time I ask God, God always ring His voice in my ears and said, Hold on son! It's not the right time yet. Then I wait for God to tell me when there's the suitable time. As what I experienced, it is not only God choose the one for us, it is not our mind or our heart only match with the one, it's our soul. I can strongly feel that it's my soul chose her. Match with her. Hopefully everything is going to be fine.
My advice is to ask God your questions and then wait on His answers. Read your Bible and pray and be willing to be in His Will in the meantime. Trust me, the Lord God will answer you. Good luck and God bless!

This is what happened to me- my husband left me for someone else and at some point I decided to set up some very specific criteria for someone I would date to keep me out of potentially bad situations. The next day I met someone who fit my criteria to the T and I could tell they were very attracted to me ( which I really like because I looked my total worst) and then we found out that I am 18 years older than he is and I thought for sure he would lose interest but I can tell that he is still attracted to me. I don't care about the age difference- he's not a kid. It's just so weird how I told the Lord my specific criteria and I met this guy. I just keep praying that if the Lord is not putting those desires in my heart to take them away but I think I might get together with this guy because I'm just really interested and I'm getting that same vibe from him. I'm pretty sure he has never been with anyone and I feel like maybe he's intimidated or thinks the same way as me- that he doesn't care about the age difference but thinks I do. I met him at church and my church is very small so I'm really careful just in case I'm reading this situation wrong.

I'm in a unique position right now where God has brought an old friend back into my life and we've grown Very Close through our faith and with God. And I don't know if I hear God like most people do, but I always had a longing and desire to be with her but she has never felt the same way. I'm very close with her family, but no one has ever even mentioned anything about us being a potential couple. So I'm not sure if God is just using our relationship to strengthen our faith alone, or if there's going to be something that comes along down the road. I am a lil nervous but I trust God.

Actually, that's not necessarily the case! He doesn't necessarily arrange or put in place what YOU want! He gives you the relationship He wants you to have and the relationship you NEED. And He may begin orchestrating the relationship long before you're even looking for someone. In fact, what I am seeing in my own life is that He can bring two people together whom He always meant for each other and who were always destined to be together. These two people may have known each other for a very long time or even their entire lives but were not meant to come together until just the right moment. And God will cause them to desire one another. Then He will make it clear to them in a very specific way and with Holy Spirit understanding that they are meant for each other. That is a very powerful thing.
I have liked someone for over a year, and I hope that he is the one. My mind and heart are in allignment, but not sure about will or even his thoughts - he has shown subtle interest in me, but also in other girls, so I don't know. Just taking guesses with intuition though I'm an xSxx type. I hope God's sovereignty will allow my plans to become His! 🙏

I knew right after meeting my husband that I was going to marry him. First by realizing he was everything on my prayer list that I had written probably 6 weeks prior. The next day after I met him I called a friend while at the airport and told her about him. When I hung up with her I texted her and told her I was going to marry him. I had never felt that before. I let him do the pursuing per God’s direction and we married that next year. He was literally what I wrote on the list. Number one was, Preacher, called of God (not self appointed) and two, educated. He was an assistant pastor then and was working on his masters of divinity and is now a chaplain in the army as well as Lead Pastor. This December will be 14 years married. I married 3 days before my 27th birthday.

He confirmed it to me through his word. Multiple times. He first allowed me to meet aan overtaken by Satan and showed me how to obey when he says no. That man broke my heart but when God said no...I disobeyed at first but finally did. For a year I seeked god even through the heartbreak and then prayed for him to turn me into a wife and mother and bring me a man he wants for me...this man showed up unexpectedly, it was actually a man I had already known. I asked God to confirm him because part of me already knew....god confirmed him emotionally, spiritually and biblically. But now, we wait, on his timing.

God has to confirm it now in facts as well. Or maybe He is waiting for your heart to receive God completely.

(A friend asked me if he should marry a girl, I asked do you have peace, he said no, (I already knew he didn't) so I told him no, and he married anyway. They had a child together, but then she divorced him! If you ask a Christian friend their opinion, unless they have ulterior motives, maybe listen to what they say.😉)
At 26 I'd never had a girlfriend, but I just knew surely God would give me a Soprano, & we'd be on the road singing in churches, & spreading the gospel using our talents! Back then I could still sing soprano myself, but of course primarily sang tenor, & just knew God's will had to be in music! (Umm, I run sound at a small church, & sing once in awhile, so kinda, I guess?!🤔 Now I barely make it to high tenor, so there's the "use it or lose it" message right there!😢😩)
I found myself talking to my pastor, who told me to join the singles group at my church, which I did, but as an introvert, on one occasion, I drove separately to a members house, everyone else rode a small bus together, & while everyone was inside having a prayer meeting, & stuff, I laid out a blanket on the cold ground, & while looking up at the stars I said "God I'm so tired of being alone, & can't stand it anymore, so I'll take whoever you want for me, I give up on guessing, or searching!" "PLEASE!!"
It was only days later I called the only contact I had to ask what the singles were doing, but she gave me another number to call, cause she wasn't coming, & maybe the other girl knew!?
I called & we spoke for a couple of hours, so I asked if she liked movies, & would like to go eat, because I love my uncle, but would like to have someone else to do things with, so we paid our own way, & just went out for two people to have something to do!
We went back to her apartment, & surprisingly to us both we found ourselves holding hands while watching TV. (I looked down & there it was, but I don't remember ever reaching for her hand, or who did it, it just was!!)
Next day we went to Church together, went back to her place, & told each other there was something we had to tell each other, so she told me to go first, & I told her that I couldn't explain it, but I had such a peace with her, & it was like we had known each other all our lives, & I knew I could spend the rest of my life with her, so then she told me that during service she had a vision of herself walking down the isle in a wedding dress!
One non date, "date," Church the next day, & just like that we knew we were going to be married, & now in around 3 weeks (May) we will have mutually not killed each other for 27 yrs!😂🤣💘🫂💞
Seriously, give it all to God, don't pursue your own understanding, but also be willing to live with the fact that that person will be who you need, not who you think you wanted, & may even look or sound funny, can't sing a note, drive you crazy sometimes, & quite often argue with you, but if they are in love with the Lord, willing to work side by side as one equally yoked in Christ, then they are absolutely worth becoming one with!!
Just remember, when it does happen the "D" word should be looked upon as, & never used, like people treat the "C" word!!
Even joking about divorce is a cancer to marriage, & a couple must not entertain the thought, as marriage is a lifetime decision, & divorce shouldn't even be a consideration!!
This is why getting equally yoked is so very important!!
Watch the movie "Old Fashioned" my wife & I love that movie! (Don't care if people say it's slow, cause it's true, & real life is kinda slow!🤭 Just like waiting for her was murder, yet suddenly 27 yrs have gone by! So now I've been married 1 year longer than I was alive unmarried!😉)

I was 26, she 29, & we were both virgins, so we had no comparisons, were awesome for each other, & didn't need to look at any other greener grass!😉
Sad these comments have to be so short, (I know this isn't short, but sure could be longer, cause introverts can type out more than they like to speak!😁) cause God has taken us down a faith road involving selling everything, & living in a 34' motorhome, which has been such a deeper learning experience in trusting Him as in where's the $ coming from, health stuff, etc..., but all I can say in this limited comment, is He has provided even before we knew there was going to be a need, & He is wonderful!!
Finally, Disney/Hallmark/Hollywood, is a lie, & marriage isn't all sun rays, happily ever after, prince & princess stuff, it is messy, & great, but always remember to let tomorrow take care of tomorrow, while trusting He's got this, & you don't need to even imagine how life should or may go, but just live out His will daily dying to self!!
Reading the comments, which made me remember my wife's friend who's fiancee was killed, and she remained single until her 50's, but it was apparently a good match when it finally happened!
God has plans for us, but we do have free will to let Him be on the throne, or we can act like children who just want to blame someone for the decisions we made, and never acknowledge responsibility, cause being a victim removes our guilt for our own sins, which is what everyone is trying to do today!!
You can die to self, and your free will can tell God He rules, or you can use your free will to hold the reigns of life, and blame Him for not turning you into a robot, which then you'd shake your fist at God for not letting you be you!!

When one finally surrenders to the will of God, it really does give a peace you'll never understand trying to blame, while being a victim, and calling truth BS just because control is something you just can't give up, but be real, it's not very comforting is it?!
Get real, acknowledge your guilt for sin, tell Jesus you're sorry for the part you played in His being sacrificed, but you thank Him for willingly dying for those sins that you should have been punished for, but there's nothing you could have done to be made worthy!!
Praise Him for this gift, Thank the Father for giving His Son, and ask for the comforter Holy Spirit to guide your life till you are called home!
Mean it, then allow God control, and you'll have a more abundant life that will be more fulfilling than sitting around asking why, and accusing God for everything!
Most things you won't care about anymore, that you think is so important, while you're trying to win an argument against the creator of all things with a punny human mind!

(There's one accuser of the brethren, so this guy may need to ponder who's side he's really on!?)

Another piece of advice is just because you see someone you don't particularly like physically, (face isn't exactly what you hoped for) but they have a good spirit, love the Lord then don't ignore them!
My wife of 27+ yrs is no beauty, and she'd tell you so, (and she didn't particularly look at me and swoon) cause I love long dark hair, and hers was dark, but it was shorter than mine at the time, cause she had somehow gotten lice and her Mom cut it off to kill it, so it looked like a boy's cut when we met!😳
But after that first non date, date the love between us was amazing, and something given by God!
I know everyone can't be the same, but for us I watched her parents' honeymoon video, and one had the camera on a balcony filming the other at the pool below, and that's pretty much how their marriage was, so I told my wife that's not how we were going to be, and since we've been together I went on a week long mission trip to Mexico, and there's been a few nights of being apart for one reason or other, but in the nearly 28 yrs we've known each other we've been apart maybe 2 weeks worth of time. (Not talking about going to work type stuff, but being out of town, not together 24 hrs, kinda stuff!)
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all the rest will be added, so don't seek the relationship, but leave it to Him, at the same time when it's in front of you don't get in the way with expectations, or forcing your will, and wants on what God is trying to give you!!
Then when given what you asked for, it is a decision for life becoming one flesh that can't be separated!
Can you see how beautiful that statement is, and reflective of what God wants with a relationship with us, when He says He's a jealous God, and will not share us with a harlot world?!
My wife and I have never had to question our faithfulness, because we are always together, and that's why God wants us to pray unceasingly, because if He is always on our minds we can't be of the world, just in it! 🤗🥰

Hey, Mark, I met this guy at my job who I can't seem to get out of my mind and heart. We hit it off the first time we met and have slowly formed a meaningful friendship, we have both shown each other that we are interested in each other romantically through our body language. I really do like him, and I noticed that he is unlike any other man that I have ever been friends or acquaintances with, I have a bad past with men, so I feel uncomfortable around most, but I feel so at ease when I'm around him. Can you please pray that God blesses this relationship in holy union if it is his will
In my past I was most encouraged when I had grandmas praying for me. I mean old people who became like grandmas to me. They knew what I was going through because of maybe something I shared with them while at church.

I am a young woman, since I was little I said that I would never get married since I come from a toxic and abusive family, now that I'm an adult, I think that maybe getting married isn't a bad idea, but I still panic about it. I don't want what I experienced as a child to repeat itself
Lately I've gotten a lot of this type of content on UA-cam, I've met several guys but I keep running away from it . I don't know how or what to do about it
You need to learn to give people a chance. When you meet someone take a look at his family dynamics - how does he treat his Mum and Dad, how do his parents treat each other. No family is perfect, but if they seem respectable then give him a chance. You will marry his family as well as him. Go out to a restaurant with him, how does he treat waiting staff? Polite or ignores? When he goes onto a shop, how does he treat Sales Assistants? Does he like children and animals. At the end of the day, is he kind, to himself, to you and to others.

When the one comes, confirmed by God, but you find that this person is not ready for you, they still live and practice sin, and is not spiritually mature. I just had to let the person go. Painful, but we can miss our soulmate by the decisions we make in our past and present. Don’t be afraid to stay single if the one he shows is not in align with the Lord.
Well... God will not give His faithful child to a sinner. Whatever you think might have been a God's confirmation that this person is or was the "one" is not actually from God. You were just carried away by your feelings and the devil took advantage of it. The Bible says there is no link between light and darkness. God will not contradict His Word and allow His precious child to go and suffer in the hands of an unrepentant sinner in the name of marriage!!! Think about it and relax your mind. You didn't loose any soul mate. The right "one" is on the way coming and then you will know and understand that what God give comes with joy, not with sorrow. God bless you abundantly!

Does that mean you just loose time "waiting on a person?" Not really... BUT IF WE KNOW AND FEEL they are the one then Don't give up so quick. Sometimes God gives us the exposure to keep us focused and locked in because he knows we may wander. God also prunes and mature us further during the waiting process. Sometimes God needs to clear the path, break soul ties, etc on the other side! IF that person IS the one, no one else will measure up so just be patient and keep trusting God! Its a weird world we live in. I dont know who to trust anymore. The first dude I married was a complete jerk. The second one is nice and caring and we are expecting our first child together. They say marriages are made in heaven but I don't know what the future holds. I believe in destiny and luck now more than anything else.

I feel you. I first met this guy late last year and took a liking in him but I didn't think too much about it. I then met him again earlier this month and I think l really like him for real. We normally meet in groups because we have mutual friends and sometimes when he visits my church. I don't know how I can show him that I like him and I hope he likes me too. We hardly talk for a long time because we are always around people so it's hard for me to tell. He invited me to his church I'm not sure if he was just being friendly or what but I told him I'll go one day. I woul love to visit his church however, since he frequent our church we might cross paths. I told some of my friends that I like him and they encouraged I initiate group outings and invite him but I'm scared.

Also note, Rebekah had to leave where she was to go to Isaac. Her family asked for time and she said...she will go right away. Is that desperation? Funny how this has come up while I was just in prayer to the Lord about it. I’ve been liking this guy for a whole year and I even had to go through a 11 months with no contact with him, so I was just trusting in God that I’ll see him again, which I did. Ever since I met him and have been praying to God, I’ve felt like he’s the one, but have of course gone through doubt. God put him back into my life again this month and I saw him again and now I am indeed in contact with him, but I’m still confused at times with wether or not he’s the one, so thank you for this making this video ❤️ God bless.

I'm so glad to hear this. Theres a guy at church who a few friends are trying to get me interested in. I can't stand him. They keep saying "maybe God will change your mind". I think that's just foolish. I've had a few run in with him and he's not a person I care to let in my life. I have been praying and God has given me peace in staying away from him.

For most of my life I've been waiting, praying, looking, trusting, being faithful to the things of God, learning, growing, working, being disciplined and yet nothing. At a point this year I did give up. I remember telling someone if God wants me to get married let him bring the man or else just leave me alone and then, only days after that, God revealed the man to me and not only that...from 100 0f miles away, he confirmed that revelation through the youngman at the exact same moment he had revealed it to me. Now we're going steady, it's clear where we're going. He just asked my Pastor's permission to pursue me last week.
My point is, God never fails as long as we don't lose hope.

I am 24 years old going on to 25 next month. I've never been with anyone. I am looking to finish my bachelor's degree a year from now God willing. I am in a position where I have a desire to be with someone, but it is not in my top 5 priorities, and I feel like I have a lot going on which makes me think it is not time until I finish my program which I can be wrong about. I don't have a crush on anyone at the moment, but there is a girl in my Bible study who is 2 years younger than me that I have been knowing for a few months, and I only had a few conversations with her in total. She seems friendly, enjoys working with others, and wants to do something similar to me in the future. Apart from godliness, I look for someone I will be good friends with. In church they talk a lot about marriage and place a big emphasis on how couples serve together in different ministries. Is it reasonable to just look for someone who is very similar to me? Before and not too long ago, I did not really focus on that aspect.
Think of yourself in 10 years and try to imagine what you wish you would have done. Of course pray but be wise :) I can't answer this, it's a personal decision :)
All I can say is pray! Let God bring things about. Ask, and listen, be faithful and wait. God knows you better than anyone. When He bestows gifts, they're perfection. Leave the details to Him.
Also the exact same situation, 23, one year left. Ive been focused on the Lord for the past 2 years haven’t cared for girls. However, this girl from bible study wont go away. We chat in person and share so many similar viewpoints on politics, the bible, christian living. I even able to mess with her jokingly. We’ve share memories in mission trips. She’s a leader, so am i. But at the end of the day im asking, why doesn’t this girl go away? I dont want to ignore her, but i also have the feeling to find one later. Idk man.
I am not sure to be honest. I do have a desire, but it is not something I am eager for, and it is not in my top 5 for priorities, there are other things more important right now. You can keep praying and ask for guidance/clarity on this. Maybe she can become a really good friend or even be the one God has for you but it might not be time.

This video showed up on my feed just as I came back from seeing the woman God has told me will be my wife. We started off as complete strangers over a year ago, only seeing each other casually, but even then I had a strong sense God was telling me that she was my wife. Ive had 3 pastors and my strongest spiritual mentor tell me they felt it too along the journey and now she and I are friends. I can tell she feels the same pull as I do and were just waiting on Gods timing but this was a great confirmation for me.
The woman I've got on my spirit is so much younger than me and incredibly beautiful....almost impossible. We have each other's number and barely chat, but the spirit led me to go to the local spot I met her at last night. She was there and has been non talkative around me. She just had moms die and has to deal with all that. Today walking back from getting my mail at our local box I saw her (we live in same neighborhood). The timing was wild as my dog took a long time to go before I went and the post office shoved this package in my box that took an extra minute to wedge out. She was walking to her ride with to go food, so a second earlier or later we wouldn't have passed. Was 5th time seeing her in person. Confused of course but just having faith. Hey Mark. I have a testimony about the one that God has planned for me. She's from my work. She's so sweet. But this time, this love is pure from my heart. No other negative intentions. But it seems she don't get it or maybe God haven't tell her about this. God keeps giving signs by signs. Then everyday I pray by asking God about the signs, and now it is so clear that she is the one. Every time I ask God, God always ring His voice in my ears and said, Hold on son! It's not the right time yet. Then I wait for God to tell me when there's the suitable time. As what I experienced, it is not only God choose the one for us, it is not our mind or our heart only match with the one, it's our soul. I can strongly feel that it's my soul chose her. Match with her. Hopefully everything is going to be fine.

This is what happened to me- my husband left me for someone else and at some point I decided to set up some very specific criteria for someone I would date to keep me out of potentially bad situations. The next day I met someone who fit my criteria to the T and I could tell they were very attracted to me ( which I really like because I looked my total worst) and then we found out that I am 18 years older than he is and I thought for sure he would lose interest but I can tell that he is still attracted to me. I don't care about the age difference- he's not a kid. It's just so weird how I told the Lord my specific criteria and I met this guy. I just keep praying that if the Lord is not putting those desires in my heart to take them away but I think I might get together with this guy because I'm just really interested and I'm getting that same vibe from him. I'm pretty sure he has never been with anyone and I feel like maybe he's intimidated or thinks the same way as me- that he doesn't care about the age difference but thinks I do. I met him at church and my church is very small so I'm really careful just in case I'm reading this situation wrong.

I'm in a unique position right now where God has brought an old friend back into my life and we've grown Very Close through our faith and with God. And I don't know if I hear God like most people do, but I always had a longing and desire to be with her but she has never felt the same way. I'm very close with her family, but no one has ever even mentioned anything about us being a potential couple. So I'm not sure if God is just using our relationship to strengthen our faith alone, or if there's going to be something that comes along down the road. I am a lil nervous but I trust God.
Perhaps pray about this specific concern of yours and ask God to show you the answer. In the meantime, keep reading your Bible. If you get the nudge to ask her what her feelings are toward you, be sure it is God doing the nudging. Be brave! Whatever happens, the Lord has got you!!

Actually, that's not necessarily the case! He doesn't necessarily arrange or put in place what YOU want! He gives you the relationship He wants you to have and the relationship you NEED. And He may begin orchestrating the relationship long before you're even looking for someone. In fact, what I am seeing in my own life is that He can bring two people together whom He always meant for each other and who were always destined to be together. These two people may have known each other for a very long time or even their entire lives but were not meant to come together until just the right moment. And God will cause them to desire one another. Then He will make it clear to them in a very specific way and with Holy Spirit understanding that they are meant for each other. That is a very powerful thing.
