  • This video covers the process of installing the SP-RO300AQ Reverse Osmosis filter system, and the SP-RO400AQD RO/DI system. Follow these steps to make the most of your new portable RO filtration device.
You can find these systems here:

    SP-RO400AQD: www.allfilters...
Script: This installation video is intended as a supplement to the system manual; please consult the manual before installing. First, unbox the unit, and ensure that all of the parts listed in the manual are present. Unscrew RO housing cap using provided filter wrench.
Remove and unwrap the RO membrane. Insert into the housing, ensuring that the large black gasket is facing up and the end with the two black O-rings on the protruding cylinder is facing down. Screw on RO cap, and tighten with provided wrench.
Remove the blue plug from the stage 2 filter, and insert the blue hose coming from the RO cap. If you are wall-mounting the unit, attach the two wall mount brackets to a stud or other sturdy anchor point. Use a power drill to pre-drill holes if necessary. The system produces wastewater, so ensure that you install it near a sink or drain.
Remove the plug from the stage 1 filter by depressing the collet using your fingers, or the enclosed collet tool. Connect the white source water hose. Push hoses in firmly, then pull gently to ensure proper seating.
Remove the red plug from the wastewater line coming from the RO canister, and connect the red hose. If you are installing an SP-RO300AQ, the other line coming from your RO canister is your filtered water. If installing an SP-RO400AQD, remove the blue plug at the bottom of the stage 4 DI cartridge, and attach the blue filtered water hose.
Connect the white line to a water source. The included 3/4" adapter will connect to any standard garden hose. Screw on tightly, and attach source water line. To connect a compatible faucet, remove the aerator and attach the 15/16" male-to-female adapter. Then connect the 1/2" quick connect adapter and attach source water line.
If you need to cut any hoses, use angle cutters or a razor blade. Take care not to crimp or bend hoses when cutting. Flush system for at least 30 minutes, discarding all water.
Your SP-RO300AQ or SP-RO400AQD filtration system is now ready for use. SpiroPure: serving all your filtration needs.

The SP-RO300AQ is a great option for home drinking water. The SP-RO400AQD has a deionizer, so it is not recommended for drinking water.

No. Its like 1:20 and like a 25 GPD. Not 150 as advertised. My apec RO 90 is 1:30 and makes 4 gallons in 45 mins. The RO400 makes 2 gallons in 45.
