The Rattle Hood is a good figure, the SA He-Man is ok if you don’t have the original. The other two grunts needed something more, even just a reused Kobra khan laser gun.
The early description of the figures said the two snake grunts would have articulated jaws. That’s a little disappointing that they don’t but overall it’s a great looking set. Thanks so much for the review. 🙌🙌
With the bright colors of He-man (hairs, lime accents) and Rattle-hood (blue and pink, reminds me of Synthwave/80's aesthetic), it seems like they are made to be displayed under blacklight!
If you want to get even more 1980s nostalgia out of Rattle-Hood: he's a blue Cobra Rattler. Hasbro's G.I. Joe department would like a word with Mattel . . . .
Just found your channel yesterday with the Skeleton Warrior 2 pack. Have now subscribed. I pre-ordered the set. I look forward to it because ever since I saw the Eternia playset on display, I have been wanting some extra Snake men to display. At the time, I didn't have Snake Armor He-Man, so this was definitely a win, win. Only complaint I have is that Naga and Gorgon don't have any weapons. If they made what I thought would be generic builders into named characters, then they should have at least came with staffs.
And we still don't have 1 single Snakeman for Masterverse.
❤ Hi from New Zealand. I love Snake Men. I agree they could've given sheilds and knives to the 2 weaponless Snakes. I love the increased lore. I'm all for re used parts and I have cusomed an Avery of Bird People as called by Stratos as Birds eat snakes 😅
This set could’ve been sooo much better had they included another snake man (Tung Lashor repaint) instead of a repaint of a He-Man variant. 😕
This would have been more tempting if He-Man came with his 200X open sword he used to fight the Snakemen and some weapons in funky decos.
I'm liking the set but would have preferred if they used the regular Cobra Kahn head for the grunts and the limbs i think would look better in one skin tone. Not complaining just personal preference. Getting one set and maybe ill get 2 more later down the line if still available. Again congrats on your pickups

So no vac metal sword for He-man anymore? Meh. I’m thinking of canceling my preorder.
Yeah, not sure why they didn't go with vac-metal. Maybe a cost-cutting move?

It's Expensive... When you compare to the fact that playset of castle grayskull is at 80 dollars while this one is at 64 dollars
I wouldn't call this set expensive...it' breaks down to 16.25 per figure, which is pretty much the cost of a single carded character today.
Now, I'll give you that these figures (being repaints and kitbashes) are a money grab by Mattel, sure. But I wouldn't say this is an overly expensive set. Also comparing it to Grayskull is not apple-to-apples.
I can't get into that Power Sword...
It’s a 200x thing…either you do or you don’t and that’s perfectly fine!
It's dissapointing that the Sword isn't like the advertising, a shame.
No guns? The snakes?
Accessories are severely lacking in this set 😞
