But the only cool Skeleton I had was from storm collectibles and it was very tall and overly detailed for the Origins. So I just tried to make one anyway and mixed him alongside the Masterverse or my backround now!👍

I'm really glad to see figures like these coming out. This is the kind of thing that I dreamed about for the MOTU line, as a kid. No other toy manufacturer does GITD better than Mattel and it’s because they use the more expensive method of phosphors Strontium Aluminate. When I charged Scareglow with UV I couldn’t believe how bright but also long lasting it is. Big manufacturers generally use the cheaper Zinc Sulfide to cut costs.
Yeah, the Masters of the Universe Origins figures and accessories that glow like Scareglow and these new Skeleton Warriors light up my whole area in the dark! They glow incredibly bright with a little light changing them! That's interesting the methods Mattel uses! I wasn't familiar with their setup! Thanks for watching and sharing that info!👍

I wasn’t sure how I felt about these when they were first announced, sort of wondered to myself if they were really necessary. After seeing this review, I have to say they look fantastic! The glow-in-the-dark gimmick is perfect, and I love the fact that they actually look relatively unique compared to other Origins figures (the unique buck, arms, and legs). I also didn’t realize it came with its own mini-comic! Definitely feels like an exclusive with the special artwork on the back, but it’s supposed to be retail, eh? Interesting… I have nothing negative to say about these Skeleton Warriors! (Edit: it doesn’t look like the shield snaps on to the arm all that well, but I guess it’s a minor detail.) Awesome! And great review! 👍
Yeah I was really excited and impressed after getting these Skeletor warriors in hand! They are totally all new Tooling, packaging, Comic and some new Weapons added. And of coarse the glow in the dark features. It works great with very little light! Mattel really went all out with this set! It definitely looks like an exclusive two pack! I wasn't sure how they planned on making Skeletor warriors. I have a few different ones with the Storm Collectibles and smaller Halloween ones. But making a Skeleton figure with bones and the spine to scale is very difficult and weak. It would never work well for the Origins because of thier size and they are meant to be played with for kids. The bigger bones, Vertebra and articulation is perfect for these Skeletons in the Origins. This is a must have army building set for that collection! This Skeleton Warriors pack is definitely a very creative piece by Mattel this year instead of repaints like many other figures through out the waves. Yeah they totally remind me of the Harryhausen style Skeleton animation in a way! I'm happy to hear you like this set and look forward to getting these in your collection! I got these early from a seller on ebay who had some. I also preordered a couple more from BBTS. Hopefully you can get these later this year in your area. I know outside shipping and taxes can be expensive to import figures from places like BBTS!
These look dope! Can’t wait to have them on hand. Looks like the shield doesn’t go on well lol. So Mattel gave us a regular shield snap on, for a figure who’s got skinny ass arms lol. Should of done a stinkor or Teela shield instead. I bet masterverse scareglow’s head would look great in the skeletons warrior buck. It’s smaller. Great review as always, brother.
These came out incredible! I hope these start shipping out with those preorders soon! I also preordered a couple more! Yeah, the shield is annoying to snap in their hands. But it works! I was gonna use the Masterverse SCAREGLOW head as well, but I cut the video for time! Maybe I will show that real quick in my next review with some other figures I got for Origins soon! Yeah I actually tried that but didn't film it. I only have the SDCC version which is really green! It looked ok. But didn't match the body colors. Maybe I'll show that in another video for an update! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👌

Another great review. After you pointed it out, I'm also disappointed there wasn't a spare helmet less head. The back of the head looks very similar to regular figures, certainly He-man and Skeletor. I suppose you could take a hood from Skeletor and swap it out with the helmet, get some kind of Barbarian Skeletor and a low level hooded Skeleton Warrior. Have you tried the armour on Evil Lyn? It might fit the female buck.
Thanks for stopping in as always to check out the reviews. Yeah I don't understand why they just didn't make the helmets removable. They are already seperate pieces and have the skulls under them. They didn't have make a slot in the head and glue the helmets on. I think they would come on and off with no problems. Yes the armor fits the female figures, but a little loose in the one strap. Aside from that. This is one of the best Motu Origins figures sets this year!👍
@Themanchlid I'm very excited for mine, no sign in the UK yet but hopefully arrive soon. Your video has me all the more eager to get them, I might need to try casting that helmet and stick one on my BA He-man.
@@retrorandy77 Yeah Hopefully these will show up in your area within the next month or two. Big Bad Toy store started shipping these out for people who had preorders yesterday. Only what they got in..but it's a good sign these are moving out there now! If you cast the helmet. I'm guessing you have to remove one first. Put the head in hot water then use a small flat screw drive carfully around the side and back to break the glue and move your way up and around.
Yeah, that Barbarian Skeletor head might be interesting on scareglow! I was gonna try out some Skeletor heads in the review. But I wanted to stick with the glow on the dark theme. Hopefully, BBTS gets these real soon! Thanks for stopping in to check out the review!👌

Thanks for checking out the review! I just tried the Snake Teela arm in the Skeleton Warrior. She has the same problem as SCAREGLOW. The peg is to short and falls out unless you put tape or something to hold it on.
I just tried the head switch out with scareglow to show a quick example of how the head fits the typical Origins buck, and of course, the only other figure that has a glow effect and skull head. I think it could look cool on that Skeletor body. Thanks for watching 👌

Lol. Yeah, I had to try that look and parts swapping while everything was out. I actually had a gym teacher who had an upper muscle body like an origins figure and tiny legs like the Skelton warriors. He had some kind of genetic abnormalities in his legs from birth. He was a great guy. In some strange way, I thought about that teacher when mixing these parts. Thanks for watching 👍
Don't worry! You can't imagine what's coming to Masterverse this year and next! Some incredible figures! Like Meckaneck, Spout Spout, New Eternia Tri-Klops, and Trap-jaw plus so many other figures in the works!
It never gets left in the dust, it’s having some pretty amazing figures released all the time. I’m sure we’ll get some Skeleton warriors in MV down the road
@@sunnyshine2215 There is only 1 thing we can be "sure" of & that is more He-Man, Skeletor & Man-At-Arms variants. They showed a new Man-At-Arms at SDCC & there is already a rumor of another one coming after that one. No reason to think we will ever get Blast-Attack or Skeleton Warriors unless they are actually revealed. Don't count on any character unless they are actually revealed. The only characters we can be 100% "sure" of are more He-Man, Skeletor & Man-At-Arms. In case you haven't noticed over the past 2 decades, these toy companies love to push the same handful of core characters on us. Just look at Hasbro with Snake Eyes & Bumblebee. Hasbro will NEVER make 1 decent Chop Shop, Barrage, Ransack or Venom but will use all their money & resources to make 500 new Bumblebees. Every Transformers collector has a huge hole in their G1 1985 lineup. I'm not optimistic at all that we will ever see characters like Skeleton Warriors, Fang-Or, Lady Slithor, Dragstor or Blast Attak in Masterverse. Especially with how poorly MOTU sells at retail. But we will see about 10 more Man-At-Arms.
Yeah I definitely wanted a green Skeleton Warrior of some kind for the Motu line when I saw that on the back of the Origins Wun-dar card art. I used a Storm Collectibles Skeleton from there Golden Axe set. He was clear blue. I primed and s painted three costs then sealed it. It's really cool. But once you paint it and all the joints. Then you can no longer articulate it without cracking the paint on the joints. So I set him up the way you see and just leave it. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
Thanks for checking out the review! I haven't tried to remove the skirts. They look like they could be cut off. I haven't been able to take the spine off the hips. I don't think it removes. But there is a way to remove the skirts, I'm sure. I'll have to mess around with it more and see.

Thanks for the vid. Knew i wanted these suckers from when they announced them. Will have to wait next year when i can get them in Oz from local importer,- as import charges are astronmical. Canceled all my bbts orders
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! Yeah I was super excited to see these announced! They came out perfect for the Origins with thier designs, packaging and accessories. I got these early from a seller on ebay who had some. I also preordered a couple more from BBTS. Hopefully you can get these later this year in your area. I know outside shipping and taxes can be expensive to import figures from places like BBTS!
These look dope! Can’t wait to have them on hand. Looks like the shield doesn’t go on well lol. So Mattel gave us a regular shield snap on, for a figure who’s got skinny ass arms lol. Should of done a stinkor or Teela shield instead.
I bet masterverse scareglow’s head would look great in the skeletons warrior buck. It’s smaller.

These came out incredible! I hope these start shipping out with those preorders soon! I also preordered a couple more! Yeah, the shield is annoying to snap in their hands. But it works! I was gonna use the Masterverse SCAREGLOW head as well, but I cut the video for time! Maybe I will show that real quick in my next review with some other figures I got for Origins soon! Yeah I actually tried that but didn't film it. I only have the SDCC version which is really green! It looked ok. But didn't match the body colors. Maybe I'll show that in another video for an update! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👌

Another great review. After you pointed it out, I'm also disappointed there wasn't a spare helmet less head.
The back of the head looks very similar to regular figures, certainly He-man and Skeletor. I suppose you could take a hood from Skeletor and swap it out with the helmet, get some kind of Barbarian Skeletor and a low level hooded Skeleton Warrior.
Have you tried the armour on Evil Lyn? It might fit the female buck.
Thanks for stopping in as always to check out the reviews. Yeah I don't understand why they just didn't make the helmets removable. They are already seperate pieces and have the skulls under them. They didn't have make a slot in the head and glue the helmets on. I think they would come on and off with no problems. Yes the armor fits the female figures, but a little loose in the one strap. Aside from that. This is one of the best Motu Origins figures sets this year!👍

Your video has me all the more eager to get them, I might need to try casting that helmet and stick one on my BA He-man.
@@retrorandy77 Yeah Hopefully these will show up in your area within the next month or two. Big Bad Toy store started shipping these out for people who had preorders yesterday. Only what they got in..but it's a good sign these are moving out there now! If you cast the helmet. I'm guessing you have to remove one first. Put the head in hot water then use a small flat screw drive carfully around the side and back to break the glue and move your way up and around.
I think ill get another set to custom the color of the Armour to make more troops

Thanks for checking out the review! I just tried the Snake Teela arm in the Skeleton Warrior. She has the same problem as SCAREGLOW. The peg is to short and falls out unless you put tape or something to hold it on.

I just tried the head switch out with scareglow to show a quick example of how the head fits the typical Origins buck, and of course, the only other figure that has a glow effect and skull head. I think it could look cool on that Skeletor body. Thanks for watching 👌

Lol. Yeah, I had to try that look and parts swapping while everything was out. I actually had a gym teacher who had an upper muscle body like an origins figure and tiny legs like the Skelton warriors. He had some kind of genetic abnormalities in his legs from birth. He was a great guy. In some strange way, I thought about that teacher when mixing these parts. Thanks for watching 👍

Don't worry! You can't imagine what's coming to Masterverse this year and next! Some incredible figures! Like Meckaneck, Spout Spout, New Eternia Tri-Klops, and Trap-jaw plus so many other figures in the works!
It never gets left in the dust, it’s having some pretty amazing figures released all the time. I’m sure we’ll get some Skeleton warriors in MV down the road

@@sunnyshine2215 There is only 1 thing we can be "sure" of & that is more He-Man, Skeletor & Man-At-Arms variants. They showed a new Man-At-Arms at SDCC & there is already a rumor of another one coming after that one. No reason to think we will ever get Blast-Attack or Skeleton Warriors unless they are actually revealed. Don't count on any character unless they are actually revealed. The only characters we can be 100% "sure" of are more He-Man, Skeletor & Man-At-Arms. In case you haven't noticed over the past 2 decades, these toy companies love to push the same handful of core characters on us. Just look at Hasbro with Snake Eyes & Bumblebee. Hasbro will NEVER make 1 decent Chop Shop, Barrage, Ransack or Venom but will use all their money & resources to make 500 new Bumblebees. Every Transformers collector has a huge hole in their G1 1985 lineup. I'm not optimistic at all that we will ever see characters like Skeleton Warriors, Fang-Or, Lady Slithor, Dragstor or Blast Attak in Masterverse. Especially with how poorly MOTU sells at retail. But we will see about 10 more Man-At-Arms.

Yeah I definitely wanted a green Skeleton Warrior of some kind for the Motu line when I saw that on the back of the Origins Wun-dar card art. I used a Storm Collectibles Skeleton from there Golden Axe set. He was clear blue. I primed and s painted three costs then sealed it. It's really cool. But once you paint it and all the joints. Then you can no longer articulate it without cracking the paint on the joints. So I set him up the way you see and just leave it. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
I was wondering if the skirts were removable, I might just keep them in the furry underwear and leave the battle skirts off with mine.
Thanks for checking out the review! I haven't tried to remove the skirts. They look like they could be cut off. I haven't been able to take the spine off the hips. I don't think it removes. But there is a way to remove the skirts, I'm sure. I'll have to mess around with it more and see.
