Didn't recognize the title or the artist when I received the notice that you'd posted this video, so I went to UA-cam Music to play it before I watched your video here. Wow -- I'd completely forgotten this song ever existed! I totally remember it now -- but I'll bet it's been 25 years since I've heard it. LOL! Fun song! Definitely will see if I can't play along here shortly.
Fantastic - a big thank you for that. I didn't remember it either when this fellow requested it - as soon as I heard it I remembered it immediately. Love it. My best to you! Shane
😊 I don’t always comment Shane, but I watch your uploads without fail and just wanted to come on and say a big ‘thank you’ for all you do for us on UA-cam. Your lessons are first class and simply explained to us ‘lesser mortals’ all over the world, who would perhaps otherwise be unable to afford instruction. But the best bit for me is your ‘ENTHUSIASM’ while putting the techniques out to us. It makes me WANT to learn to play better. Give me another 1,000 years and I might be able to play half as good as you can! 🙈😂😂😂 Regards, Dave
A big thank you Dave - very kind of you indeed. Glad you’re enjoying and I appreciate you taking the time with such an encouraging comment. My best to you! Shane
Damn buddy, you can sing to!! Lol, you have a great voice man. Thanks for this lesson I love this song I just haven't taken the time to learn it, I will now!
Hey thank you Johnny - it was SO hot in the studio today - Glad you enjoyed and to me, the secret to good strumming is not hanging onto the pick to tightly and just let it skip across the strings instead of holding it too tightly and dragging it across the strings. Play fast songs quietly for good practice. My best to you! Shane
So many neat little techniques in this one, and you demonstrate and explain them so well that it takes any thought of "That's beyond my abilities" right out of the equation. And really loving the leads you've been offering of late; and nice addition and encourages the viewer to expand and explore. Thanks!
Hey - thank you Frank - it's huge to get feedback like yours - exactly what I'm hoping for. Glad to have you here with us and thanks for taking the time to comment - really helps! Shane
I have been playing for nearly 25 years now and still hate the B7 with a passion. Gave up long ago caring if I hit all the strings in it every time 😆Great teaching good sir.
Shane Fantastic as usual mate many thanks....Again I have never heard this song before, you have introduced me to yet another great song Top man. I was going to say put those legs away lol but when you said it was 85 I can understand. Keep rocking my friend
Cool song, great video, love it, can’t to try it. Been easing back into my guitar after some time of not really playing regularly and now I’ve one more reason to get to working on it. Just had a total knee replacement about 2 weeks ago so it will help take my mind off it. Thanks again Shane, hope all is well.
Yoiks - knee replacement - scares me to death as that may be coming my way in a few years. Glad to hear you're picking up your guitar again - enjoy and thanks for being here Wally - best to you, Shane
Hi Shane! Beautiful lesson and awesome music. I have been following and learning from you for a while and was thrilled to see you using the Beat Buddy. If you don't mind would you be able to share your Beat Buddy settings for this song?
Love your style of teaching! Just some background...I am 67 y/o, cancer survivor that just had hert surgery a week ago. I picked up the guitar again after finishing chemo. If you can, I would really love to learn 'End of the Day' by Al Stewart. Thanks in advance!
Hey Shane love your videos they help me a lot great stuff , you may of done this one before , but I would like you to do hotel California, I love playing this song but i haven’t seen any online , thanks
I was in Taco Bell this morning and this song was playing. I used Shazam to find out the name. I was surprised to find you doing it. Thanks. You’ve made it easy to understand. On the part where they use the keyboard, could it be looped so the keyboard could be played?
Hiya - you’re hearing my Taylor 814ce plugged straight into the recorder - I add a little reverb and compression on mixdown. There’s also some mic bleed into the lapel mic I’m wearing which helps round out the sound a bit I’d say. Best to you, Shane
As usual great job Shane . No one plays Rhythm guitar better than you. 162k people wishing we could do the same . Amazing. Thxs Rick
That's hugely encouraging Rick - big thank you and very glad you're enjoying! Shane

Thank you Shane! One of my favorites from the 90's. I gave up on it because I couldn't play the bar chords "Spanish" style. Capo, duh.
Thanks Edward - glad it’s a fave. Have fun with it! Shane

Hey Shane, tim again. Do you give guitar theory courses ? Ive bought a book but its confusing and im just notgetting it. Can you help ?
Sorry Tim - I’m not doing lessons at the moment so I can focus on my online efforts. Best to you! Shane
That's OK, can you recommend the best way to learn guitar theory
Shane, what acoustic guitar amp are you using? And thanks for making videos.
